@@nigelskinner8988 Yes, but no. If a product contains 2 grams of sodium chloride per 100g, it "only" contains roughly 1g of sodium per 100g. Since people know it's supposed to be sodium chloride, they assume it contains only 1 gram of sodium chloride. They then think it's healthier, even though it's wrong.
I've never found sodium on a nutritional label here in Switzerland, it's always cooking salt.
The only place where they write sodium is with mineral water because there it makes sense due to sodium bicarbonate dissolved in the water.
I love the subtlety of hogs high-pitched "hmmm" when in the barcode costume refering to the beeping sound a barcode makes when scanned.

@@2MeterLP sodium and potassium is what we need, people tend to neglect foods with enough potassium so their blood pressure rises due to potassium deficiency not sodium excesses.
All the costumes and acting, the vibes of Carbohydrates and Added Sugar, Sodium and the entirely serious therapist working through past trauma, Cholesterol being high which is too brilliant, the bar code--it's all hilarious!
I always thought that tears and wails were a Foil thing, but then I saw Hog sobbing and omg he's such a good crier too.
Let's set up an Olympics type of thing and have them compete to see who fake cries the best 😂

I do sympathise, I did that for 4 years! I worked in a bariatrics hospital for half a year as a dietetics intern and had to give entire talks to patients about serving sizes 😲

Your sketches are always intelligent and educational. I studied nutrients at faculty and you summarize everything I learned from there. Also, I don't know which character is funnier, every joke is delivered in recommended serving size. 😊

LOVE this! I felt like I should count the jokes because the number of A+ lines in this sketch seemed above average to me. Might be because it's about a topic I personally find interesting, or because I need some extra cheering up after taking a positive Covid test this morning - that shit not over, but you lads are still there, too, so I'm glad! @uinsel it's also in King Lear by Shakespeare. Salt was needed as a preservative as well as adding flavour. But now it's excessive in packaged food food.

That's why sometimes you now see two versions, one for the "actual" serving size, and one for the whole unit. (If you manage to drink this entire 16oz/500ml bottle of soda by yourself, you monster!)
@@anniesama5729 I literally can never drink a whole 16 oz of soda at a time, or a giant muffin. I usually don't drink soda though. It's filling an too sweet to drink more than 8 oz. No wonder English speaking countries are so fat I'm the only one that doesn't just keep eating until food is gone. They package it that way to save on landfill waste, smaller serving in a package means twice the packages they have to pay for. Learn restraint, damn.

Genius! Once more I realized how amazing it is how you make these incredibly relatable sketches with as little controversy potential as possible by focusing on humor that reflects reality instead of going all in with your own opinions. It is a smart move for getting a large happy audience. E.g. seeing the title and thumbnail I was a bit nervous because there is this huge amount of controversy regarding nutrition but I guess no matter how your opinion is on nutrition, diets, weight etc. you laugh your ass off. I certainly did. Great job and thank you so much for this!

To my best reckoning, today is exactly one year to the day since the RUclips algorithm, for reasons I could never fathom, placed you in front of my eyes. When I clicked I could not in a million years have predicted what it would lead to. From that innocuous 4'43 video I have found friends, been on a wild international adventure, rediscovered a part of myself I thought lost, found a talent I never knew I had... and most importantly I have had hours and hours (and hours) of unbridled joy, all thanks to the three of you. There are no words that can encompass all you've given me. I hope you can sense even a tiny fraction of the love I feel for you all. If you could lie to me and pretend you'll let the others know too, that'd be grand ;)

The random outro search is when I knew I'd fell right down the rabbit hole. It took forever to find the one with puppies in it again, but made for a fun ride!
As someone with high cholesterol and with medication can barely get it to budge, I must say I loved high cholesterol! That was hilarious as was fiber coming and going 😂. Awesome sketch everyone ❤

I hope the recommended serving size for FAH sketches isn't just one - because this brilliant treat demands a re-watch! 😍 I liked so many things about this sketch, and it seems to open up more possibilities. Sugar vs. added sugar was hilarious, but what about sugar vs. all the other sweeteners (artificial and otherwise) - that would be a real honey of a sketch idea! And the new therapist was a pleasant surprise; maybe soon we'll finally see Dr. Horton going to therapy himself?
As someone who has made many Nutrition Facts Panels in his career, this makes me smile with how accurate it is.

My dentist publicly humiliates sugar. There’s a display on the wall in the waiting room with drinks of differing sugar levels and the amount of sugar in a little bag next to it. It must be like being put in the stocks.
