Sadly, all kids do NOT have the same potential. Observing different children from the same household is good evidence of that, at least back when parents had more than one or two kids. Intelligence is not equally distributed any more than height, strength, speed, etc.

We need more parents trying to teach their kids like this. Especially, when they are willing & eager to learn. At that age they grasp things quicker. Make it fun & don't make them feel about themselves if they don't get it right off the top. Keep encouraging them positively.

i think all children have the ability to learn far far more than we think they can. putting children into a box where they learn things at a set time or place is stifling. children want to learn its human nature to want to understand the world around us. if your child wants to do something encourage (dont push) but any parent will know already if a 2.5yr old doesnt want to do something..... its pretty hard to make um lol hes such a cute little boy with a bright future!

.....why would anyone dislike this? Learning is also done through repetition so what's the point on even going that route. Maybe he can't apply his knowledge like an adult one but the child is a leg up already with being able to acknowledge what it takes to make a different element.....hello how many 2.5 year olds do ppl know doings this????

Did you ever meet any black racists in your life? Unfortunately we are all racist, most of the time we are just afraid of other people that do not look like us! I talk to , and want to understand different people from all races,it fascinates me! Imagine a world made of white people only...Boring,and disturbing...Same goes for a world made of only black people...or Asians or Martians...Get out, speak,i mean speak to someone with a different skin color, listen to them and you will see yourself in them, and you will find out that they have a story and and are as vulnerable as you feel you are,and maybe this world will change. This last part is addressed to everyone that bothers to listen! Good Luck , Nubian Girl!

This is a cute little trick, but it's not going to contribute to his overall intelligence or education later in life. Due to the late development of the hippocampus, we're not able to create concrete memories of events this early in life (really, nothing before the age of 3 or 4 can be reliably stored as an explicit memory). It would be a better use of his time if he were allowed to play, learn nursery rhymes, taught to read, etc. Early childhood is a time for building skill-based memories.

I believe most children can learn darn near anything if taught. It is just unfortunate that countries like the United States dummy down its citizens with the crap education taught at a very early age. The lies about past events. Subjects such as physics and other sciences and mathematics should have been pushed hardcore at an early age. But still allowing a balance where toddlers can still be toddlers. ❤️ I love children! They are the sweetest of human beings. Great work parents on this video! And to the one who made the video, who cares what others say about "race" and why bring it up in the 2000's. It should be brought up! This is definitely something worth seeing instead buffoons with their pants hanging off and necks popping talking nonsense! Kudos parents!!! And here I was worried about our future! Muah!

A scientist is someone who conducts research/experiments, not someone who just knows stuff.
It seems awfully silly and impractical to be teaching a kid these sort of things before actually understanding any of the principles behind them. I'm not saying that he _doesn't know_, but before any of the atomic stuff was shown, the kid _should have explained things_ such as what an element is, what an atom is, what electrons, protons, and neutrons are, and how they interact for it to be of merit. Otherwise it's just scripted behavior "learning" by rote.
If the kid can talk lots about atoms but can't say where food comes from, what it means to be respectful, or what money is, he's not learning the important things -at least in a good order.
While he certainly seems very good with numbers and language for his age, aside from that it felt quite a bit like one of those videos where a parrot is answering questions.

Good dad!!! So patient. I sure wish I had a father like that, mine was an angy a-hole. Kindness makes a big difference, he'll grow up to be a well rounded, smart man.
