Great video. I just bought a Kemper player and had the same feeling. The Marshalls sound exceptional, but it's harder to find a clean Fender sound that I like. If you find one on tone exchange, please make a video showing it. Good job. Cheers!
If I want to use my analog delay and reverb pedals, how do I use these with the player? I assume you just put them AFTER the Kemper - but the Kemper has balanced L&R out and would be going into pedals wanting to see unbalanced TS cables? Also putting them after the Kemper would then require a DI box right to pull an XLR at the end of the chain to FOH/recorder.
I’ll be making a video on this shortly. It’s my biggest annoyance with this unit and honestly a pretty glaring design mistake. Basically, you have to memorize an arbitrary led coloring scheme to know what bank you’re in and then the leds over the preset number mark which preset in the bank. For example blue LED on the left side might mean bank 1 while blue led on the right side might mean bank 5. It’s stupid.
Awesome content. I have two questions, please. Is the kemper player also able to transpose? This is something I use a lot. second question is regarding the tuner…how does it work since there’s no screen?
Great quality video. Some suggestions for your channel (going off your intro comment): -You mentioned things being uninspiring. I appreciate you saying its subjective, but would have really appreciated some examples to support this. Without it, it resulted in a great balance of play/monologue in the beginning, then a lot of talking at the end. -Your mic picked up the sound of you hand moving back multiple times (~3:47, with a few after.). Maybe turn down the sensitivity/mess with location? For future videos though, I'd be interested in learning tricks for setup. The manual is uninspiring and theres a lot im trying to figure out how to do. It would set your video apart to get ahead of that. Edit- Just wanted to see I love that strat. Looks and sounds incredible. Subscribed
Set your boutique tube amp on a clean setting then play it at low volume and it sounds like a Roland Cube...until you pump the volume. Same with clean Kemper Profiles. First add the Kemper Compressor upfront then plug it into a Poweramp and guitar speaker cabinet, turn up the volume.
I'm keen to see a shoot out between Tonex and the Kemper Profile Player. It would be cool to hear the clean sound captures of your Two Rock, and see who does it best? Tonex or Kemper?
Is the noise gate considered as one of the two pre effects? There is one knob which says below Noise Gate and I was wondering if it occupies one of those pre fx slot or not. Thanks! Great video!

Thank´s! Greetings from Sweden and good luck with the channel!
:)
I read about bluetooth support, does that mean I can play to backing tracks from my phone and output to FOH for open mic nights?
I have not seen that function while menu diving.
Yes 😀
How would this work for a live situation? How do you know what bank and preset you're in? Do you have to guess?

Yes it can but it is controlled in the app. I’m not sure if it can be linked to a footswitch or not.
@@averagejer cool, as long as it has the function I’m happy. then I can save 3 different patches with different tunings. thank you
Bro can shred!!!!!!
Haha I think that's an overstatement.
@@averagejer Trust me, you have amazing talent dude

There is a noise gate at the input, does not occupy an fx slot
