As a former CRJ and ERJ pilot two things about this video are NUTS! That flight deck is QUIET. Amazingly quiet. And second, 123 vref in a jet almost the size of a DC-9 is crazy slow. Super impressive jet.
EGPWS call-out for deviation from the glideslope outside of normal limits. Some pilots deliberately “duck under” on short final to make an earlier taxiway or because they’re landing on a short runway, but this is frowned upon in airline environments. Should always aim for the touchdown zone as ducking under can create other problems. You can see this landing is well short of the touchdown markers. Basically, the idea is you should trust the performance numbers and fly the aircraft accordingly.
@@GenAnaesthetic77 It just isn't required on a Global. Massive brakes and TR's, it will stop in < 1000 feet after touchdown. Ducking under is a bad idea.
@@GenAnaesthetic77 He put it down about 100 feet short of the aiming point markers, the 10 call out was over the 500 foot markers. Early in the touchdown zone but well within.

I fly the A220. It's amazing how similar these two cockpits are.
Take that, Earth!
LOL
Any landing you walk a way form is a good one, and what's the best one if you can fly the aircraft agin. :-)
That right there is where the Jets loose.....
1500’ on that SID coming out of there! Lol.
When I look up that tail number it says Bombardier Challenger 604?
Giddy up!
Dropped but landed anyways 😊
nice crash ..........
why did the plane say "glideslope"?...did the glideslope fail or something?

@@dmack1827 Thanks Dmac! Yes thought that was the case.
