    Hii! I went thru the same thing as u as a teenager. I remember questioning why I should study or work hard and how superficial all my classmates were when they were applying for college. I hated how people just tried to get good grades or be part of school clubs to try and look good when they didn’t care about the subject they were studying or volunteering one bit. I remember I could spend multiple days in a row laying in bed on my phone and not having motivation to do anything.
    Fast forward im 30 now with a masters degree and a good/stable income and I’ve been living on my own for the past 10 years. It’s been really nice to have freedom away from my family but I now live across the country and I have to admit that I miss being close to them. It’s hard out there on your own… u gotta do your own cleaning, cooking, figure out how to pay for a car/insurance, pay rent etc.
    Anyway I hope u feel that you’re not alone and my recommendation is to try your hardest to find your passion and try to set a daily routine for yourself. It could be as simple as making your bed in the morning just to get your day going.
    You got this!! ❤

    i’ve been there. i felt the exact same way as you in 2021 when i was 16 too. i’m 19 now and take my word for it that you’ll get through this point of your life. just give yourself time. but also make small efforts, like cleaning your room and showering. these small things will eventually help improve your mental health. also, the intense urge to move out is the depression telling yourself to isolate. which is the most counter productive thing ever to do. instead, talk to at least one person about it. i know you have at least one person who you’re semi comfortable with. just reach out to them and release some of that burden you’re carrying. i say all this to say that everything in life is temporary, especially the current situation you’re in. it will be okay and you’ll be happy again! look up the word impermanence and study it real hard!

    I feel the same way and I’m 23 and live alone. Trust me it doesn’t get better when you move out, haven’t cleaned my room and missed my work, so that’s great lol. But I also still learn and life can get complicated, so don’t be too hard on yourself you still have plenty of time to figure everything out (even when it doesn’t seem like it).
    As for a job, maybe try and go into stores in person and ask if they have anything open - that helps a ton ‘cause they keep you in mind easier. What I also try is to really lay down my phone and keep it in another room and just let all my thoughts rush by (maybe write them down) that helps! Most of the time it’s actually calming me down, cause I get to think of everything maybe write them down and start making a plan.
    As for college - even if you’re not sure about going yet, try to take some classes that interest you (and some that won’t but could have potential) and then decide by that, if you find anything that interests you.
    I hope that helps a bit. I’m also most of the time unable to do anything, but trust me a walk does help wonders! I know that may sound stupid, but you got this! :-)
    I hope you’re doing better soon!

    From someone who's been there;
    two things:
    Use that pain as motivation to do what you have to to reach your goal. Try not to get stuck in these feelings, which I know is hard when you can't escape the situation, at least for the moment.
    Try to solve your emotional issues some other way/ set yourself up for longterm success while you are in this situation. Moving out alone may relieve you from your current pain, but if there are other things you struggle with, they won't magically go away when you've moved out. Work on taking care of yourself (excersize, education, routines ...) right now, don't tell yourself you'll do that as soon as moving out has solved your problems.
    That's what I hoped for, and well, I didn't magically get better just because I lived alone.
    Take care❤

    I’m 21 now ive felt the way you have felt since I was ur age and im just now starting to get out of my shell and one thing I’ve learned is speaking negatively about urself brings the negativity into reality so start small by picking something you like about urself and complement urself on it until u think it’s true bc ur life is what you make of it either you want a positive life or a negative life it all comes down to the way you speak about urself the food you put into ur body the sleep you get and the people you hangout with and ur young so it can be hard to find the right people to socialize with bc almost everyone is negative now a days buts that’s just how you know ur not the only one dealing with this problem in life

    because I’ve felt that way my whole life. Life is so short and you are a beautiful person and God loves you. I know how hard it is to love yourself but you have to make it a priority. Keep trying, keep waking up every day and try to make each day a gift. Find all the things you are grateful for and hold on to them. If you keep pushing things will work out. I don't have all the answers, but I would suggest keeping busy. Over thinking and over analyzing never helps anything. Keeping the mind occupied can help. Sometimes just thinking about doing something can be worse than actually doing it. Things can feel overwhelming when you don't know what to do or where to begin. Just dive right in and start doing without even thinking about it. Don't think about cleaning your room or what to start with. Just grab the first thing you see and the rest will follow naturally. Positive music can also be a great help. Starting the day with a positive vibe can set the tone for the rest of the day. Everyone goes through periods of sadness or depression. It always feels like it's the end of the world and everything is hopeless. It is not. Things change, people change and phases pass. I've been through a lot in my life. There were times that I thought my life was over and saw no possibility for any kind of hope for the future. I'm nearly triple the age of most of the people watching. There are many things in life that can only be learned through experience. It really is true that whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

      Some great advice that someone once told me is that when you feel totally lost and confused and don't know what to do, don't do anything. God will guide you in the right direction. I don't preach religion or tell anyone what to believe, but theism can be helpful when altruistic. Another important saying that I try to live by is "discretion is the better part of valor."

    It’s all mental. You have the energy, you just need to get the ball rolling. You need exercise to get your metabolism kickstarted, get more energy. Life’s a struggle!!✌️✌️
    Keep an afterschool job, and get your diploma. You’re still a child, enjoy it. You only have a few years to be a teenager, you’ll be an adult for Much longer!! Get into a trade school after high school to develop a skill instead of college if you feel college isn’t an option. Don’t rush your life.

    Check it, enjoy your life. Do what you enjoy and spend time with the ones you love. You think you are tired now, as an adult its going to be dragged out like hell. Energy depletes faster as you age. Takes longer to recouperate the energy you spent doing things all day. I felt that way too then when i got older i realized how much worse it can get when you have only yourself to depend on. Working ends up taking all your time and then all your money is already spent on housing and food with nothing much else left to scrape by, Children want to be adults, adults miss being children ❤ catch 22

    Roommate is how. If being there truly makes you that sad. All so try to stop with the past stuff it's useless. Try repeating this. The past is a wonderful teacher but a terrible landlord. Another thing is avoid any screen a few hours before bed, go for a book. The blue light basically tells your brain it's morning wake up, so even if you fall asleep you're not actually resting. A easy way to tell is dreams if you're not dreaming your not resting. Rem sleep. All so clean your room and shower not for your parents but yourself. How you display yourself on the outside impacts the inside. Don't take any of this as judgement just tips all ❤❤no hate. Everyone who has existed does exist or will exist is going to struggle or make mistakes. Perfection isn't a thing. Acknowledge mistakes learn from them but never dwell on them it's useless. You are 16 people have made it to 109 these things you're dealing with are only a blink on the grand scale don't give them so much value. Best wishes much ❤. Honestly look up college debate with Charlie Kirk. Nicest way to say this is college ain't what it used to be.

    • @Lizmiza
      @Lizmiza 25 дней назад +3

      Don’t try to be positive if things aren’t positive. Be true to yourself and when you feel mad then feel mad. When you feel sad then feel sad. Feel all your emotions, no emotion is bad to feel.
      The only thing is your reaction and how you handle the emotions. What you do when you’re mad, sad ect.
      It’s so important to actually value every single emotion not only the “good ones”.
      But again, don’t straight up self destruct when you’re in a bad mood but instead try to understand why you’re feeling the way you do and what you can do to make yourself feel better. These emotions can actually help us more than you think, for example. When you’re sad you can write about it or make a song, do something. Create an outlet for those feelings where you can just dump everything into that outlet and actually make use of the situation.
      You’re gonna be okay. Trust me. I love you

    All you need is some confidence yourself, it will come with time if you keep looking for answers…whatever you do don’t stop…you will find them, I promise.

    Me tooo still trying!!! It seems to ebb and flow, I have had better years where things are genuinely so good and then phases where it gets worse again? It's rough but I've learned to cope better if take makes sense (I'm a few years older than you) and my cat helps. 😭 I literally don't even know what the fuckk happened like I always struggled with mental health stuff but then it's I just fell the fUCK off and nothing works I cannot do shit normally anymore. I've kinda accepted it?? Kinda. Lately I've tried deleting every social media atp to get off my phone more (thsi is barely working obvi bc now I'm on RUclips chronically and Netflix 🎉 alas.) I basically just only have friends now who really seriously GET IT. Maybe do cc slowly online once you do graduate? I know a lot of people who did that and honestly.... I should've done MORE of that bc I tried rushing myself more and crash out hard and wouldn't have if I slowed down more (I wanted the independence...which ig I got. Which IS GENUINELY HELPING A LOT. but at a cost! Cc and transfer is nice.) and being mean and boring cuz you're not there it's a life style at somepoint lmfao. Me and my cat do it together now. I'm grateful still for people like you who are strangers on the internet who make me feel less alone tho? If that makes sense. Cuz we don't and won't ever have to know eachother but we know we have something sorta similar.
    I can't say "it gets so much better" but I can say I learned to cope with it a little better in the last four years, and yeah moving out did help. (It also hurt in a way, but I learned to deal with that too)

    Part of this is just your phase in life. You are certainly capable of taking care of yourself, but you don't yet have the means or the wisdom to do so effectively. So you feel stalled and frustrated.
    Something that might help is to find meaning in your current journey. You may not be where you want to be yet, but what realistic steps are you taking to get there? It could be as simple as, "I'm going to learn how to drive or effectively use the bus system," as effective transportation is important for any kind of employment. Then use that as a measurement of your progress towards your desired goal. You may not yet be where you want to be, but you can feel the satisfaction of knowing your journey is bringing you closer.
    I also suspect you might have some ADHD. In which case, there are additional habits or medication which can help.

      The basic foundation of all higher forms of spirituality is the understanding that 1) if everything in Nature (the universe) is subject to change then the principle that determines this to be so is not subject to anything in Nature, because if it were then the principle itself would be altered, meaning contradicting itself in it's opposite. the determinate principle of change (of Time) is itself unchanging, and transcendent in relation to Nature. 2) the impermanent, everchanging nature of the psychophysical self is itself opposed to our intimate though quite elusive conception of a self which is as changeless and permanent as the principle latent in our very name. 3) this intimate, inner conception of a permanent self is not one derived from the impermanent, everchanging self which is inextricably bound up in Time, but must derive from it's transcendent, unchanging principle. 4) there are thus two 'worlds' and two 'selves' respectively, though it is only the transcendent, permanent self which could capture the dignity latent in our inner and universal association to a name which we cleave hopelessly onto a body of shifting cells and a mind of ceaseless activity. the transcendent, unchanging principle of Time and the transcendent, spiritual center of our selves, the True Self (not anything onto which a name could be hopelessly cleaved, but the principle beneath the abstract reference) are one and the same. This may all sound very difficult but the concept of 'impermanence' is quite heavy and correctly deserves to be studied real hard.
      if you are 16 and reading this the best thing you can do for yourself is to study metaphysics and learn the practice of philosophical detachment as early as possible. the detachment to which i'm referring is not abstract but a living act and incredibly practical for literally everything anyone might do with their life. it might sound silly but if you want to make lots of money study Plato and Aristotle. doing so strengthens the mind around certain powerful ideas and associations of ideas that trains it to think autogenetically (look up this word!). true creativity is the ability to see a problem, no matter how small, in it's larger context and to be able to cohere it's pieces in the most efficient and practical solution within your mind (which is never going to be a solution for someone who wants everything all at once). it's possible to come up with a solution to any problem in the matter of an instant while being cognizant of the fact that it might take a lifetime to actually realize this vision. transforming ones mind to be able to think and envision in this way gives one the most powerful tool they can have in any circumstance, and doing so while you still have parents taking care of you is the best time to do it. read comprehensively the books 'Buddha and the Gospel of Buddhism by Ananda Coomaraswamy and 'The Unknown God' by Deirdre Carabine if you want to know about impermanence and to get that fat moneycash flowing. if you want a pithy description (not explanation) of your personality type (psychophysical self) read the works of Gary Goldschneider (Secret Language of Birthdays/Relationships/Destiny). there's an app centered around his works but it leaves out a lot. can probably find his books at Barnes and Nobles. the stars and their positions in the zodiac obviously do not influence what happens on earth but the gyromagnetic pull of the planets and our own around the sun do, and it's these forces that influence life on earth and which astrology has mapped through the ages, basically accidently. if you want to know why i've taken the time to write all this it's because i'm bumming wifi from my local town office and i'm waiting for music to download lol.
