i’m pretty sure they actually used this song to jam russian radio mines because it had the same frequency as the mines or smth. they didn’t actually confuse people.
Basically the Russians planted mines which would detonate when a certain radio frequency was played however another frequency could block it so the Finns decided to play sakijarven polka on the radio frequency that blocked the detonation frequency until eventually the bombs ran out of power
