I was fortunate when I applied through my work coach, for LC&WR. He helped me a great deal. I was able to get a telephone appointment, and the application itself was done over the phone. The process, is by far easier and better, than applying for PIP, which to be honest is pretty much a con.
Hi good afternoon to everyone if I may ask a quick question I've been on LCWRA since last year and when the time comes would I be able to have a telephone interview assessment do we have that option thankyou ?? @@StuartMcGoo
How did you get this I have let them know I can complete the form as I'm partially sighted 😮 confused how they want me to com0lete some something I can't see
I’m terrified, I was awarded PIP but the process aggravated my mental health condition. I’ve been diagnosed with autism on top of my physical health issues so speaking to people is incredibly difficult 😢
Thank you, Stu, for these very helpful videos. I studied these diligently to complete my first Work Capability Assessment form. Along with CAB and the other good organisations that you always recommend, plus cross referencing with my past and current pip application forms, I completed this with my brother's help. It was hard, especially when I was so mentally unwell. Today, I found out via a journal message on my UC account that I have been awarded LCW & WRA. I didn't need to go for an interview which I was surprised at with it being my first claim. I'm currently waiting on my letter to find out how long my award is for. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for putting these on your YT channel and also for everything that you do, not just for myself but for all of us who are struggling to understand this complex and ever changing benefit system. Where would we be without you? I look forward to your next upcoming videos and the live Q & A's Take care and all the best from Gillian Thompson 🫶
Yes Stu it gave me some great insight, especially with each section being broken down. I hope you are making good progress with your recovery. Thank you again and take care 🫶
When time comes for me to migrate to UC..Does UC know that I am in support group of ESA?..Will they know that I've recently had a PiP assessment and been awarded this ?
Ive been off work due to an injury and then discovering i have spondylitis ive just gone back to work told my uc coach and i am being sent this uc50 why?
Hello Stuart! Thanks so much for this! I have to fill mine in and it’s daunting. Quick question : is it possible to send the evidence electronically? I’m asking cos I don’t have a printer and (also regarding delays) I’m still waiting on that info which I had to request as a subject access request.
Hi Stu. I've been on Income based JSA for 7 years now, but have just been forced onto UC. Am going through the process now, but I'm really worried they'll lower my benefits as I was on enhanced JSA due to my physical problems (I have severe osteoarthritis in my neck, shoulder and spine.) I have a lot of trouble walking, and standing for any real length of time, and I recently sold my car as I don't feel safe driving it due to my illness. I now have a mobility scooter. Am really worried this is all going to blow up in my face. I have an OT assessment which is on a PDF file, but if the forms are paperwork and I don't have a printer, how do I get the form/s to the UC people? Does it sound to you like I may get some assistance?
Hi Stu. To get into LCWRA do you need to get 15 points in just one section? or 15 points in every section. ? I score 15 in the first and second sections … Thank you 😊

I Have Progressive MS. I get Full Pip, An Motabilty Car. I now have to send the uc 50 form in, i am so stressed snd worried.
Try not to worry too much, just make sure you put plenty of detail into the form and get help with it if you can.

As far as I am aware it is not, but it depends on your Job Centre Plus as it usually goes through them.
@@StuartMcGoo thanks m8!

Can I write my Husband name in Healthcare professionals, friends, relatives ,Carers. Is it okay.
Thank you for helping and guiding us
Yes, if he is providing support or care for your daily living activities
I have knee arthritis. Can i claim for lcwra?
I could not say - Are you signed off as unfit to work? Does it effect both knees, or just the one? You would best to speak to an advisor at the CAB
My son has a brain injury and the person helping him fill out the form has taken ill. Can we request an extension?
For certain, very good reason to request one.
@@StuartMcGoo Thank you he is worried sick

You need to score 15 points or more in total, across all sections.
Do they do this electronically or by post
It's an entirely paper based process and grossly inefficient. DWP are yet to cone into the 21st century!
You can fill out a PDF electronic version if you have a computer and then access to a printer (as seen in this video) but it is usually done on paper.
@@StuartMcGoo thank you stu

Why is it sound 100 mile an hour

because you were signed off as sick. You need to be assessed for the period that you were not working.
