i immediately downloaded notes on an execution as soon as you described it. loved this vlog, it’s nice to see someone who has loads of stuff going on bc sometimes booktube can make me feel self conscious about my reading which is like the opposite of what i come here for!! so cosy and calming over on this channel

Also a slow reader! Used to hate that about me, like what was I doing wrong but in truth I just process stories slower and that's okay! I read for me and only for me, so know need to stress :). Definitely hard not to compare sometimes though, when it seems everyone else is reading a book day haha

I love this type of videos 💕I'm also a slow reader but something else I noticed is that I can't focus on a book for a long time... reading for 1 hour takes a lot for me, my brain just can't relax 🥴

I rarely read for fun nowadays. I think I've fallen into the productivity trap & I find I read more "business" books than anything else 😢 if I read at all! But I think this week (it's Monday morning here in Australia) I will try to prioritise some non-biz books to read. Thanks for the inspo! 💜

it’s quite graphic about animal death but not humans
