I know that some of the public radio stations back in the day archived a lot of content. Some episodes I have heard here came from Wisconsin Public Radio, others from New York, etc. usually no commercials in these higher audio quality versions. I do miss them though! Memories!
Others must ,do what I ALWAYS, end up doing , " get sorted for a top night , lie ,comfortably on me garden shed??? (Bed) , start listening to the next episode of EXCELLENT CBS rmt ,,,,, and wake up four episodes later ,,,, and go back to the first one ??? lol ,,, LOVE EM , THANKS ,,,,,,,,
I want a TV like theirs! And a solar powered motor to power my car for life! Sigh, it’s 5/6/2022 and auto gas mileage hasn’t advanced anywhere near as far as imagined in the mid 70s for 30 and 50 years down the road!! Regulations have dramatically outpaced innovation!
I'm half way through but alls I can think of is that I remember hearing that the auto industry bought then squashed the technology, that it had been invented in the 70s.
SPOILER ALERT!!!! From the synopsis and what little I've heard at the time I wrote this comment, once again the world becomes a HORDE OF UNGRATEFUL CHILDREN!!!!!!
Where do you get your kool artwork from? Thanks for the upload. Anyone think that now with youtube this type of venue might come back? Radio drama is unique because you don't have to watch it vs TV.
Find them online and usually do some editing to make them a little more interesting. This particular one I used a program called "Fotor" and the effect called "Light Trails" otherwise the background would have been very plain.
I'm 62 to. My mom would listen to these episodes, and I listened too. Loved talk radio, and CBS MYSTERY THEATER.
One of the best of the series and that's saying something. Thank you so much for these episodes. Easily my favorite thing on RUclips!!
Great episode!! One of CBSRMT's best! Very salient to today, more so than when it was broadcast in 1975.
Excellent audio quality! I wish all of these episodes had the same audio quality as this one.
I really really liked this one. Thank you from Tucson, AZ 6/23/23
So far this is one of my very favorites, thanks!
For some reason, this episode has the best audio quality of any. Even on my old copy on cassette. I wonder why and what the original source was.

Then again Nikola Tesla discovered very powerful sustainable power options with numerous applications way before the 70s, so theres that too.
SPOILER ALERT!!!!

Whoa, this story is totally relevant to our growing global warming crises.

Check out Creepy Pastas. It kind of has (paranormal/horror short stories told by a narrator)
Here is a link to all the episodes otrrlibrary.org/c.html
Driscoll: "Of course, it wont be permitted." Cretinism will out.
Only half way thru so far. If 2D and S1D are from the future they did not go far enough back in time to set things back.
Well, back to the story...
Is there anything in this episode that mentions Romania? I feel asleep to this one last night and had a dream about Romania. Strange
Tesla was Croatian Serbian…Romania it gets you into the neighborhood
And now we all use solar energy on our moon 🌙colony

Good story. It's a fun thought experiment, but there's no recognition of the human survival instinct. M A D has worked, despite liberal pessimism.
