- The Mesa Verde National Park is a place where you can step back in time. The National Park contains Cliff Dwellings abandoned by the Ancestral Pueblo People. The exact reason the left the Cliff is somewhat unclear. Modern scientist believe climate change or marauding enemies forced them out. In this video we see on of those dwellings left behind up close.

Great video! We only had time to do a drive thru the park when we visited. I wish we had time for a tour. Next time.
Also, wanted to add at this park you need to drop your RV in a parking lot before entering because of the beautiful switchback drive to the cliff dwellings. Unhooking caught me by surprise when we pulled up.
