As much as I appreciate dance in general today it seems the dancers are on one plain. In order to have a stunning Broadway jazz number there must be a strong ballet background.. It’s very fun to look at but gets boring after awhile. I would advise today’s dancers to look to Alvin Ailey, Michael Bennett, and of course Bob Fosse.
