Asked the one person that was on the fence (about the decision that majority of us were in agreement with not guilty) what their reservation was. After hearing them out and talking through it a little more, she was able to see why we all felt the way we did about our decisions and it made sense to her.

Like there is at least 1 person that believes the tail light wasn't intact at 5:45 despite seeing the video that it is indeed intact. There's at least 1 person who believes Trooper Paul and his I don't know it just did excuse. There is at least 1 person on that jury that doesn't believe an expert who has performed over 13,000 autopsies. This is bananas. I will never believe the Albert's and/or McCabes got to at least 1 juror. I would 1000% throw the hold out under the bus. I would've written a note saying there is one person who refuses to listen to reason and because of this person we are deadlocked. We need this juror replaced or the verdict is hung.

And now the prosecutor is pushing this jury to make them keep going because they know the hold out is never gonna change their mind because they are being blackmailed or paid or whatever. So the prosecutor thinks that the others will at least capitulate and slap her with a lesser charge! This is fucking disgusting, I knew that they were gonna get to a juror or 2! Nobody honest in their right mind could find this woman guilty of even striking him with her car let alone killed him nor was he struck with any car. Omg this is absolutely atrocious!!!

This is a good example of a corrupt judge. The jury says it is hung and doesn't see a way of getting a verdict so what does the judge do she thinks she can force them to come up with a guilty verdict by telling them go back and come up with a verdict or you will keep deliberating until you do. If I was that jury now I would come up with a verdict not guilty on all counts in spite of the judge. Then after the case was done I would go to media and tell them as a group that the judge force us to make a decision on a verdict. If the jury ends in a hung jury they can retrial but a not guilty verdict means no retrial.

That dog attacked as ordered by handler most likely OR there was a violent altercation between a family member (inner circle to dog) and the victim. That’s why they say “you can indite a ham sandwich”. We heard two different cases and we voted guilty for both of them. I honestly don’t see the reason for grand juries because it’s so one-sided. It makes sense to me the grand juries in this case voted guilty to move the case to trial. That being said, Karen is 100% being framed.

👉🏼 One small change to the judicial system would make a 200% improvement in its effectiveness. The United States should have a Federal rule that a "guilty" verdict requires unanimity, and a "not guilty" verdict requires 10 of 12 (or 11 of 12, perhaps).
Courts would err on the side of not convicting innocent people, and an UN-reasonable, biased juror would be prevented from hanging an otherwise unanimous "not guilty" verdict!

The judge cannot ask what the split is. In some jurisdictions, they can ask jurors what issues they are deadlocked on. But they cannot ask what the split is. Jury deliberations are secret and anonymous unless or until a juror decides, after the trial ends or there is a mistral declared, to speak out whether by name and face or still staying anonymous but with evidence provided they really were a sitting juror.

I’ve always felt that without a unanimous guilty- the verdict should be not guilty. The common wealth did not prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. Period. Unfortunately, that’s just not how it works.

@stonesatglasshouses3477 I agree with that. I said it should be unanimous for a guilty verdict, and majority rules for not guilty (6 or more), but I wouldn't disagree with a non unanimous guilty verdict being an automatic not guilty. The government has such an overwhelming advantage already, the defense deserves the benefit of the doubt in all matters.
