Last time watching your RUclips I was still a student, now I'm an infantry officer, waiting for my DP1. Your vids were one of my early inspirations. Thank you Captain!
Lol you arent shit until you finish the courses buddy. I would REALLY hold back on the whole "im an infantry officer" thing until you are a full LT in a few years hahaha, unless you want a pissed of 35 year Sgt in your ass.
Crikey, things have changed a LOT since the early 2000's, the VR stuff looks very useful for inducing stress in the moment without carrying that stress into the real world, I like that.
What's your opinion on doing infantry at 34 or 35 years old? I know people join the military at that age, but I was wondering about infantry specifically. If it's realistic, what would be some tips or advice? Thank you.
If you are committed to doing the job, your age won't factor. Plenty of young 18 years can be lazy, unfit, and unmotivated, same with 40 year olds. Leave your ego at the door, make sure you're in shape, and strive to be better. You'll be fine.
You say just say "don't" like that's meant to be helpful to the perosn needing help in some way. At least spend 2mins to write a reasonable reply as to why you dont think its the best gig for a 35-year-old. Folks need to revise how they communicate online @linmikwoodworks3019
@TMConstructionOntario even if you don't feel like you could do *this*, there are plenty of other jobs. Reserves are an option, too, depending on where you live.
Best CAF videos this side of Mos Eisley
