I happened to pick up a Quran during the beginning of Ramadan by coincidence! It was calling my name after a shroom trip when I heard Arabic recitation of the Quran being sung in my head before I ever heard it ever be sang. Salam Paul. A massive thanks brother! You prompted me to read his autobiography, 'A bad beginning and the path to Islam'. I just finished it and must say his life was fascinating. Most of it centres on his life before converting but it makes it all the more interesting as it culminates in his conversion and gives the context of an unlikely convert to observers. I must say it saddened me when the book ended, knowing he is not with us but leaving me with a feeling of knowing him all along. May Allah forgive his and our shortcomings and accept his deeds that continue though he lies in the next life.

One of the best ways to understand the uniqueness of Quran is to read the holy books of other religions and get to know their doctrines, I was quite surprised when I found that there's a huge gap between Quran and other texts in both style and meaning.
I agree, it is huge difference, when I read the bible I was shock of the difference though you can tell it has some remnant of word of God but also mainly words of men....

It's one of my favourite book for many years, I couldn't find anyone to share the beautiful literaturary explanation of messages of faith and man's place in society and faith within his own heart. For Example "Koon,Falakoon"" Allah's Command Be and It is" This is not "To be or not to be". This is Not of Himan Narrow Brain Capacity to comprehend. Allah just commands Be and It is. Next,Falyan Zuril Insaanu Illa Ta Amih. Then let man Look at his food and how we provide it"" At present with Drought conditions,warming climate,Russia/Ukraine war,etc make us realise,(hopefully) the fragility of Civilisations and its dependence on The Ultimate. Salam Paul. A massive thanks brother! You prompted me to read his autobiography, 'A bad beginning and the path to Islam'. I just finished it and must say his life was fascinating. Most of it centres on his life before converting but it makes it all the more interesting as it culminates in his conversion and gives the context of an unlikely convert to observers. I must say it saddened me when the book ended, knowing he is not with us but leaving me with a feeling of knowing him all along. May Allah forgive his and our shortcomings and accept his deeds that continue though he lies in the next life.

One of the best ways to understand the uniqueness of Quran is to read the holy books of other religions and get to know their doctrines, I was quite surprised when I found that there's a huge gap between Quran and other texts in both style and meaning.
I agree, it is huge difference, when I read the bible I was shock of the difference though you can tell it has some remnant of word of God but also mainly words of men....
