congratz to angela on the article about her in the new issue of guitar player! cool to see her in print after seeing her on guitar of the day so many times, well done angela!
That puppy, coupled with your excellent playing, sounds really good -could sit here and listen to you play tunes like those all day long!! Great tune selection as well.
Just got my 41 d28 back from dave mussilwaite in jonestown pa complete restoration ownedit since 81 finally had the jack for the job job well done afraid to touch it
Love your style and what a sound , Gold Dust Woman was awesome. I love the Mahogany sound, in which my Alvarez Jumbo bought in 1992 has , such a nice tone.
nice well done...good sitting around grabbing your guitar tunes....I know "Can't find my way home" but will learn that Beatle tune..thanks again..I like your channel gotta go back for a lesson.
Man I'm so envious, firstly of your skills and secondly that guitar..........I have a Sigma D18 anniversary from the 70's looks almost identical but unfortunately has started to warp on the bridge and split on the neck, sooooo sad, but it's had a full life, if I was in your area I would be grabbing that guitar;)
You make it sing , and yes this guitar has a tremendous expressive soul , low end as mid as , the higher register. Enjoyed that ! You people there do some soundediting afther, cause no backroom has a register like that to record ??It would be nice to know the soundchain ...
Home girl’s back! Jen’s like “ I’m gonna try?” Let me just say, Rosewood or Mahogany back and side. Different, yes, but like the tone woods and colors and cultures of the world we live in all have their contributions. Nice strumming Miss Angela and arpeggios on my least favorite Beatles song. That should say something
@@catzdollz9810 -- 50+ years ago, Martin didn't believe in neck resets, so when the top of my D-18 pulled up into a bulge around the bridge, they crudely splinted the separated top seam without even trying to correct the bulge, then they removed the fretboard and planed down the exposed surface to establish a (somewhat) usable neck angle. The problem is that they planed off so much wood that it changed the thickness of the neck and made the guitar feel completely different when playing down in the "cowboy chord" area, AKA the 4-5 frets nearest the nut. I lived with that for next decade or two, but once I retired from performing professionally -- and after I paid a luthier $800 for a supposedly expert neck reset -- I decided to sell the troublesome thing and buy a smaller guitar with a real adjustable truss rod (like a modern Martin), paid a local shop $50 for a thorough set-up, and have never looked back since.
😂😂😂😂 What in the work is she doing with her strumming hand on that second song? That was freakin hilarious. Can’t let a video of her go by with a comment on the absurd faces. Mixed with that bizarre thing with the right hand I could about fell outta my chair. Pure comedic gold. The great part is I think she is actually serious.
She plays how she plays. You sound a little jealous. Don’t be a dick. There’s no correct way to play. Everyone brings their own thing to it. As far as faces go, I’m willing to bet I’d rather look at hers than yours.
It’s always an honor to guest host GOTD. Thanks for having me, Norms Family! ❤
What happened to the SAVE button? 😎
The D-18 is THE quintessential guitar. Angela makes it absolutely sing.
One hell of a beautiful instrument played INCREDIBLY well! What a BIG resonant tone! THANK YOU Angela and Norm!
And Jen behind the camera 🙂
congratz to angela on the article about her in the new issue of guitar player! cool to see her in print after seeing her on guitar of the day so many times, well done angela!
I prefer the D-18 over the D-28.
Your version of Gold Dust Woman was killer.

Two lovely ladies filmed by the lovely Jen 👌🏼❤

She plays as pretty as she looks. More Angela on here please 😊

A beautiful lady, guitar and playing that is spot on. What a treat.
Awesome playing Angela!
What a beautiful guitar!
This is a secret, so don’t tell anybody, but I think Jen runs the place!😜

❤❤❤ Angela makes it look so easy I love watching her play and listening 😂😂😂
💘💘💘💘💘💝💝💝💝
@AngelaPetrilliMusic please do a lesson on Gold Dust Woman?
Wow! Very good playing, Angela. A D18 with rosewood fretboard? It sounds great. It would be great to see NRG but in FL. Thank you both :)
beautiful playing by Angela - what is the title of the first song?
Norwegian Wood by the Beatles
You make it sing , and yes this guitar has a tremendous expressive soul , low end as mid as , the higher register. Enjoyed that ! You people there do some soundediting afther, cause no backroom has a register like that to record ??It would be nice to know the soundchain ...
"Stunning," and the Guitar is Nice, as well!
yep
Anyone knows the name of the first song?
It a drop d version of Norwegian Wood by the Beatles
@@SuperEdge67 thanks!
Please review the 1935 Martin d 28.
Sure.
David Crosby firts guitar was Martin D-18 R.I.P
Home girl’s back!

Nice job Angela, really enjoyed this one, sounded great! Yer so bad!
👌👌👌😊
I bought one in 1965 and like the dope that I was, I sold it😭
Gold dust Angela
When are we going to see Jen on the other side of the camera? Just asking ;-). BTW Angela is awesome!
She rings.
Beautiful! And the guitar ain’t bad either.
You are missing 2-3 notes from Norwegian Wood.!
Strings are a little too bright for me. Lov her feels. Excellent. Unreal condition. Norm does it again 🎉❤. Lol lima beans.
sounds great Angela ... oh and my shirt size is large
People in hear saying it sounds terrible are drunk. Let me guess you like super bright harsh clarity between every dam string. The new COOL
うーん、美人なギターだ。なんと言うコンディション。これが65年とは。
I had a great sounding '67 -- until Martin's repair department ruined it (under warranty!) in '70.
😮
OMG!!! What happened?
Call dave musselwaite the guy is a master

Wtf. That's odd to hear. Martin knows what they're doing. Unless it was a bad period of time, like the 70s
The faces she makes are cute
上手。日本の紹介動画のギタリストよりも遥かに上手い😅

Sounds good to me. Don't understand why you're hating. Great player
Here come ole flat top...
What the hell are “lima bean tuners”? Those dont look anything like lima beans and that’s not something people say anyway. Weird.
Don't think the video does fhe guitar justice...
その狭いエリアでよくギターをぶつけないですね。
It sounds terrible
Are you drunk? That sounds absolutely amazing. Elaborate please. That's a perfect 18
She is marriage material.
