An unboxing and first impressions review for the latest Caron men's fragrance Aimez Moi Comme Je Suis a fragrance that features Vetiver and Hazelnuts for the notes. And Vetiver and Hazelnuts are the focus notes with Caron men's fragrance Aimez Moi Comme Je Suis but it's a very spicy concoction. Even though it's not mentioned in the notes I get Cinnamon and Cloves very prominently but I also pick up boozy touches. Have you tried Caron men's fragrance Aimez Moi Comme Je Suis? I recieved my 75ml bottle of "Aimez Moi Comme Je Suis" yesterday which i ordered from the Caron website. Shipping in Europe was free. The 75ml bottle is also refillable. I also recieved a 12ml travel bottle of "Aimez Moi Comme Je Suis", three different samples of "Pour un Homme" and a 50ml "Pour un Homme" shower gel. "Pour un Homme de Caron" is already one of my favourite scents and my impression of "Aimez Moi Comme Je Suis" is good. I think i'm going to like it and it will be great for autumn here in Sweden. How is the frangrance
I really love this one as well as the brand in general. I like the sharpness in the opening as well as the nuttiness and vetiver. I thought they were generous with my packaging with the soap and samples but you got even more.
I really love Aimez-moi comme je suis. Modern Vetiver with very fresh and sweet base. Definitely my new signature scent 😍✨👍🏼!

Good review. Sounds nice. Big fan of the house. Already have Yatagan and Yuzu Man and plan to get Pour Homme which I've had samples of. Also heard that 3rd Man is good but haven't had my nose on that one.

happydoggo Hi! I would still recommend wearing it in the Californian heat. Even though it contains a lot vetiver it’s still an airy fragrance. Don’t be afraid of the hazelnut note which can sometimes be sticky sweet in fragrances. It’s not the case here. The hazelnut note brings roundness and is perfectly balanced with the high quality vetiver. It’s fresh and warm at the same time. Gourmet but NOT gourmand, if you see what I mean. ;)

Could you please explain how the terms metallic and aromatic smell, like specific examples? Thank you!
For me I associate smells in perfumes with how they smell in real life so sometimes woods and citruses or herbs/aromatics combined can go screechy metallic and sharp so in this case some whiffs I got were metallic and sharp like you are smelling metal objects! ;)

Definitely a fan of the Caron house. Already have Caron pour un Homme (my largest fragrance bottle at 500 ml, blind purchase after your review on it :) its Sport flanker, and also Le 3e Homme. In particularly I'd like to see a review of Le 3e Homme from you (it reminds me of Chanel Egoiste to some extent.) Maybe also a review of Yatagan? You did feature Yatagan in one video but only quite briefly among other 20+ fragrances.
Might blind-buy Yatagan at some point, and also this new one after your full review on it. If I also get Yuzu, might start calling myself a completionist at least for this house :)

I'm such a huge fan of PuH for many years. I'm so intrigued by this, but I hate doing blind buys. Is there 1 -2 scents that you would compare it to? Not exact matches, but in style?

What website did you use to order this? Or did you have a buddy in Europe order and send it? Just need a website. It’s possible all the goodies were due to seeing your name and just pumping you with goodies. It happens. You’re kinda popular 😉.
Also. I like watching you spray it on and sniff it. You are well known for just smelling the cap. Don’t see a lot of sprays from you. Understandably because as Ashton from Gent Scents says, you’re wasting sprays. But I love the first impressions from you. Would you classify it as a gourmande?

From what I can tell, overall reviews consider this to be a confusing offering, given the houses history and pedigree. I love PuHdC, Yatagan and other classic releases, but I'm not so sure about this one.
I think it's Caron's Terre D'Hermes personally. It's a mass appealing but still not so mass fragrance release to me if that makes sense?

I wish some perfumers would make their perfumes names a little easier. Hard to search for when you have to go back and forth to spell it correctly.
