Back in these days Blues Traveler, phish, and widespread panic played together a lot and it shows. Jam bands will always slay these huge crowds I love it
I think it’s safe to add this performance to my “Epic Live Performances” playlist. Wow. The energy and the performance itself is off the charts. Dude was like 19 or 20 when he wrote this and even the demo sounded awesome. Must be a music genius.
John Popper is a harmonica virtuoso. The bass guitarist is Bobby Sheehan, just listen to his incredible laying on this track. Sadly Bbby is no longer with us having passed over to the great gig in the sky in 1999
It is very fitting that Blues Traveler opened Woodstock 94! Canned Heat open the original Woodstock in 69 and subsequently my two favorite bands! BT forever!
I can't remember if I saw Blues Traveler or was walking past. That front stage is only a tiny fraction of the whole farmland. It was super massive farmland and like Disneyworld.
Blues Traveler is amazing, yes and it was a great set. But I think the best part of this whole video was the dude in overalls and the other people just smoking marijuana and enjoying being at Woodstock 94. Bad ass all the way around.
The archival footage of the full set has never been released. This clip is really easily found in circulation because it was ripped from a VHS tape that had one song of each of the huge artists there. Certain bands have had their whole sets released, Blind Melon is one of them I know.
@maxaronow712 Wrong, stupid fuck. Woodstock 94 has been released on Vhs and Dvd many times in it's ENTIRETY, Dumbass. I had a Vhs with the whole concert on it, idiot. Rented it from Blockbuster.
This is one of the best performances I’ve ever watched.
The 90’s. A time for life.
DAMN RIGHT!!!!!
Obviously the greatest harmonica player we’ve ever seen
Didn't know a harmonica could be played in such a way. Amazing
....... But anyway!
Popper can suck and blow at the same time, literally.
EVERY TIME I AM SAD AND I LISTEN TO THIS SONG, A MAGICAL FORCE SHAKES MY SPIRIT AND MAKES ME FEEL VERY GOOD. DAMN I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!
How this only has 70k views is beyond me
This performance cemented them as the greatest blues band I have ever seen - PURE CLASS!!!!!
The solo on this is incredible. Loved listening to this Woodstock 94 album back in the day
No smart phones to be seen. Those were the days.

saw them at the horde festival with rusted root and lenny kravitz, saratoga 1996... great show !
We need another legit Woodstock before we get too old. The crowd in this video are now in their mid 40s-50s but I’m sure would throw it down again.
As the Beatles would say let it be
Bass line is funky as hell!
RIP Bobby Sheehan.
I wish I could remember this 😁
Just amazing.... Wonderfullllll
Thanks a lot 😊

Matheussen38 bobby was the best
His bass lines sit so well with their music. Almost a song in their own.
They were never the same without Bobby. He was every bit as good on the bass as John is on the harp.
I wish it was 1994.
@@endocry Brooklyn Bob was close, but Popper is Jedi 🗡️
Look at everyone loving one another over good music played 😁👍
Wow, I didn't realize it was possible to play harmonica like that!
I'm sorry
Other than Stevie Wonder! He shocked me with his playing
John Popper is the fucking goat when it comes to the Harmonica.
This band is so good that I didn’t even notice the watermark in the middle of the screen until they stopped playing
Me too!
Say all you want, nobody judged that very day. Much Respect!
Any chance we can get back to these times?
Unfortunately no. 😭
Let me know if you know a reason how
One of the most underrated bands of the 90s, and all time!!!!
I love this song always puts a smile on my face 🙂
That bassist and drummer were so in tune.
That bass line is killer.
Some amazing harmonica playing.
The popper legend 🫡 that’s all mfrs
Its moments like that, that makes me proud to be an American!!!!!!!!
YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!!!
It is very fitting that Blues Traveler opened Woodstock 94! Canned Heat open the original Woodstock in 69 and subsequently my two favorite bands! BT forever!
Smoking song!!!! Wow the bass player is really doing some smoking lines!
Solid!!
We need another Woodstock! Spread the word
Probably the best live performance state side ever by any band ever!!!
After them green day and primus I would have ask the good lord 🙏 to take me to heaven
Super Cool!!!!!
they made a lot of new fans that day, myself included
probably the beast blues band in state :-) this song remember me king pin every time loll

High energy shit right here
Awesome

Weird to see John Popper with no hat.
You have any idea how hot it was up on that stage that was the only reason
It was reported that a million or so people were in town. The front stage crowd is less than a 1/3 of the people there
they were before anyway
I miss Crystal Pepsi
What happended to the world
The left
No jason, people like you happened. People blaming other people for their own shortcomings. Stop the hate. Everyone.
Richard Smith I think the left is the problem
I think people who blame their problems on other people are the problem. It is easy to say everything is someone else's fault.
Richard Smith you’re a cliché
Harmonipeggios!
"It's very hard to explain"
Pretty sure that harmonica holder was the one on pawnstars.
Woodstock 94 got it right. Woodstock 99 was a disgrace.
The music was far too sinister 😈
Woodstock 94 is legendary! I only got to see it on tv as a teenager, wish I coulda went to the concert!
What was that talk about the brown pepsi?? Just being silly?
It's a throwback to the famous warning about brown acid that was made to the audience at Woodstock 1969. ruclips.net/video/uzFongNGuQM/видео.html
everyone that was in the crowd is now in there 50s and 60s :p
Don’t remind me.
40's too😂
Couldn’t even do the last verse he was so outta breath
is the Woodstock 94 CD version of this song edited??? This video version of the song sounds longer...
you're right
No....a versão do CD que está editada com corte....🤣🤣🤣
was this their only performance at woodstock 94? cant find any other performances from them
