I would agree with you 100% about the ability to work the pump after the infrapubic incision versus the scrotal incision. I'm a week and a half post-op from the scrotal incision and I can't touch my scrotum as it's too painful. I hope my doctors adopt your method.

I had penoscrotal penile implant, even after 4 wks still struggling cycling the implant due to pain /soreness at the incision area. I find it very difficult to move away the pump block fr the incision area... I should hv choosen the infra pubic approach in the first place...

May i know when it the 'surgical layer' around the implant is fully developed n matured? Couldnt stand the twinges sensation after cycling the implant.. ( Which i think as the result of stretching the immature surgical layer very early..)

No one knows, but the implant is supra-physiologic and will make adjustments according to the pathology.
