My dad once had a Lincoln. Funny thing. My dad was working as a mechanic at the time and he had *nothing* but problems from that car. It broke down _constantly._ Every time he fixed something, something else broke until he said screw it and sold the thing for cheap. A good 10 years later he bumped into the lady who bought it. She told him, 'Best car I _ever_ owned. Had no issues with it for seven whole years. ' Apparently he found all the problems just when he gave up on it.
Why does that sound like a possible plot for red’s character 😭😭 😂

The look on Kitty's face when Eric not only offered but SUGGESTED to rub his grandmother's feet says it all. That boy is a SAINT. . . . mostly.

That and the fact that Eric isn't a lying skank like Laurie. Also Eric has more than a little of Kitty's sense of humor (both Kitty and Eric tease Red the exact same way), and that always goes a long way with people. I would argue Kitty actually has a far, far more accurate assessment of her children than Red does, because Red wants to look at Laurie with rose colored glasses while also trying to hold Eric to a standard that isn't really accurate or fair.
I've been looking for this scene for a long time. Grandma screaming after he closes the door on her dress had me laughing.
I love that Eric was looking after his mother.

I think one of the most funniest aspects of this show is when they do those little skits. Like the episode where Eric dressed up like bob and was like "hey there, hi there...ho there👉🏻" 😂😂😂

Kitty wasn't liked by Red's mother...and wasn't liked by her OWN mother! The things the she had to endure all these years is a testament that Kitty Forman (née Sigurdson) is truly one of the strongest female characters in TV history!

This shows humor and formula changed significantly after the first season. Stopped filming from certain rooms, using random skits, and emphasizing 70’s culture beyond the occasional reference. It’s much more noticeable upon rewatch.
Yeah. They really wanted us to know that this was set in the 70s, it was too glaring! Especially the scene Red, frustrated with his lot in life, wonders where was the America he knew as a boy in the first episodes.
So, what happened to Eric's grandma that made her turn around and starts liking things? Fez took one for the team?

Considering that Fez has referenced at least 2 other times how he liked grandmas...
*top of my head those scenes were
1. Fez describing the sexiest relative kisses. "Not my grandma, 'A' grandma."
2. Imagining sleeping with a grandma is enriching because they "know a lot, not just sex but history too".
I'm pretty sure that Fez rubbed more than Grandma's feet.
Based on Red's comment of how Eric tends to overeact, I kinda think the whole episode exaggerated through Eric's pov
