Newly-engaged Ronan Keating enjoys PDA with fiancée Storm Uechtritz after whisking her off for romantic skiing holiday
Ronan Keating and Storm Uechtritz have celebrated their engagement with an appropriately romantic skiing holiday in the Swiss Alps.
The happy couple are currently in picturesque Verbier, where breathtaking views of the Alps provided a dramatic backdrop as they enjoyed their first public display of affection since breaking the news on Tuesday.
Ronan, 38, looked smitten as he leaned in to plant a kiss his Australian fiancée’s lips as they idled on the slopes during a skiing excursion at the popular resort.
Sporting standard salopettes, helmets and goggles, the happy couple proved to be adept skiers while navigating the tightly packed runs.
Ronan wasted no time in popping the question to girlfriend of three years Storm, revealing he actually proposed twice and she accepted both times.
He told Hello! magazine: 'I proposed twice and she said yes both times, thank God.'
He added: 'We've been together a few years now and knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. I felt it was the right time.'
The Boyzone singer helped to design the ring, an oval diamond in a diamond-encrusted band for the 34-year-old TV producer.
He revealed that he first proposed during a romantic holiday in Thailand, just days after his divorce from Yvonne, who he had been married to for 17 years, was finalised.
And while Storm said yes, Ronan was keen to propose again but with his children, Jack, 16, Missy, 14 and nine-year-old Ali, present.
The singer told Hello! that he wanted to make sure the children were involved as Storm is marrying into a family but revealed she has a fantastic relationship with the kids.
After their happy news went public, Storm took to Twitter to gush about her husband-to-be.
'Some things in life were always meant to be... feeling blessed beyond words & grateful for having found the love of my life,' she wrote.
The second proposal took place in the West of Ireland on their return.
