He hasn't convinced me, the moon part at the end has been debunked. The story were the prophet mentions the orbits, is to vague to really indicate anything major (still pretty cool). Found it interesting that the Quoran has more historical records then most major religions. Nothing overwhelmingly convincing

I highly recommend getting either The Clear Quran or getting The Study Quran by Seyyed Hossein Nasr. The Clear Quran is my favourite translation. The Study Quran has large commentaries for almost every verse. There’s lots of essays and maps too on Islamic history, theology, and philosophy in it. It’s great if you want a deep academic analysis of it.

Don't get it mistaken, the Bible was written by men that we don't even know, it is also a known fact that the Bible has been changed and altered so many times which lead the Bible to having many contradictions, errors and discrepancies. How can a book written by men be seriously taken as the Word of God?
Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) did not write the Quran for that would have been impossible because he was illiterate in that he could not read nor write. The Word of God that is the Quran was revealed to the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) by the Angel of Revelation Jibreel(as) (Gabriel) by Allah's Permission, which was then recited and memorized by heart, letter by letter, word for word by prophet Muhammad's(pbuh) companions and became preserved and protected to this day and has remained unchanged and unaltered for the past 1400 years. That is the miracle of The Quran. The Quran has no contradictions, no mistakes and no discrepancies. Experts to this day have been grinding their heads trying to find errors and contradictions in the Quran, but it is impossible. God has even challenged mankind 3 times in the Quran to make something like it.

The Story of the Prophet and the Jewish Boy
Prophet Muhammad was paying visit to a sick person who was very dear to him. He was visiting a Jewish boy who had been working for him as his personal servant. The boy used to bring Prophet Muhammad water for his ablutions, get him his sandals, and run errands for him.
On this day, the Prophet was troubled by the boy’s absence, so he went to his home to visit him in his illness and inquire after him.
He went inside and sat near to the boy’s head. The boy’s father sat across from him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) looked upon the boy with compassion, sad to see him dying at such a young age.
The Prophet then called the boy to consider what he needed at this time the most; the religion with which he would meet his Lord. He said:
Accept Islam. Declare that there is no God but God and that I am His messenger.
The boy was receptive to this invitation. He had been the Prophet’s servant, and during that time he got to know the Prophet’s character, manners, and temperament.
The boy had recognized in the Prophet the characteristics of a messenger of God. He knew that the Prophet was neither a tyrant nor a pretender.
Nevertheless, the boy still felt his father’s authority acutely, so he turned his face to his father and looked imploringly at him, waiting for his father’s consent.
Again, the Prophet invited the boy to accept Islam, seeing that the boy’s life was quickly fading away. At this point, the boy’s father said:
“Obey Abul-Qasim (meaning the Prophet). Say what Muhammad is telling you to say.”
The Jewish boy then uttered the words:
“I testify that there is no god but God, and that you are God’s messenger.”
He said these words with his final breath. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) emerged from the boy’s home, he was warmed by the fact that God had guided him. He said:
Praise be to Allah who used me to save him from the Fire.
Then he turned to his Companions and said:
Hold the funeral prayer for your brother. (Al-Bukhari)

Christians do not overpraise Jesus, they only ascribe to Him what He ascribed to Himself. He called Himself by the very divine name of God, how can you say He did not believe He was God? Believe in Jesus, who was crucified died and was buried, not because He was overpowered by men, but because He willingly gave Himself up to suffer the wrath of God which sinners deserve, so that they might be forgiven. Then after laying dead in the tomb three days, He conquered death and rose again, then ascended to the right hand of the Father after being witnessed by several hundred people alive. If you believe in Him, who, though God and sinless, willingly went to the cross to save His people, your sins shall be forgiven you, and you shall be saved. Otherwise, you will have to stand before God on judgement day for all of your sins, and you will have no advocate. Please, consider the gracious message of Jesus Christ. Flee to Him! He is mighty to save you, for He is not only a man, but God, and He drank the cup of wrath God would otherwise have poured out on sinners, then rose victorious from the grave! Of course Ego eimi does not always identify one as deity, but the context of John 8 seems to indicate Jesus is claiming something far beyond normal humanity. First, He claims to have existed before Abraham was born. Secondly, the Jewish people tried to stone Him after He made the comment. What do you think that Jesus and John later recording the account meant to communicate?

Jeremiah as being a prophet before he was conceived in his mother's womb (read Jeremiah 1:5)
This goes align with Islamic theology as well.
"O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! When was the Prophethood established for you?" He said: "While Adam was between (being) soul and body.'"

Now this was a perfect opportunity for Jesus to claim 'yes, I'm god' or something similar. But instead he said this-
"Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”’? If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came-and Scripture cannot be set aside- what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? *Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy* because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?" [John 10:34-36]
So here Jesus clearly denied being God, but son of God (metaphorical son)
Here in another place Jesus clearly denied being God:
(Luke 18:18-19)
18 A certain ruler asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
19 “Why do you call me good (agathon) ?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone.
Furthermore, Jesus needed to Pray,Fast, Eat, Drink and Was Helped by Woman, as stated in Luke 8:1-3 but God in Bible is self-sufficient

A story happened to an imam. The imam was on a bus to his destination. The man who is in charge of taking the travel fees or tickets from the travellers came to him. The imam gave him money and the man returned the change and there was 20 shillings more than he owed the man. The man left and the imam was asking himself should I return should I keep it he was in dilemma and then as the bus stoped at his destination he decided to give it back and told the man you gave me more than I owed you. The man says I did that on purpose because I saw you dressed in an Islamic way with the beard so I wanted to test you of you guys referring to Muslims were any different than others and he accepted Islam just like that. Subhanalah. You can all do daawah just with your actions. Imagine if the imam didn't return that money.

Salaam, I have an idea that may be beneficial, Allah knows best, when you test the brother on the memorisation of the Qur'an, if you get an English transliteration and ask the person to pick a spot and read a word or two, and then the brother reads the next few words, that would be more impactful as the person can verify if the brother is correct.

I wanted to say thank you for this amazing video Shaykh Uthman. I really liked the part where you talked about Riba. As a young Muslim in America who has been working very hard to afford a home for the last few years, I have seen the prices of houses go up exponentially. Brother Uthman I would greatly appreciate if you can make a video explaining the best way to deal with Riba in America. Are we Muslims meant to rent housing forever? It seems like the idea of owning a home is no longer possible if I want to follow my deen and avoid Riba here in the US. Any/all advice is greatly appreciated brother. At the end of the day I want to make sure all my money comes from Halal, but I also want a home to raise a family in the future.
What is wrong with renting forever? You've bought into the idea of owning a home more than anything else.
There are many non-Muslims who have analyzed the differences between owning and renting a home, and some have said there isn't much of a difference. If you think you're going to pass on a home to your children, homes aren't built like they used to be.
Riba is haram, there's no doubt no question. If you do as they do, you're just becoming part of the problem. It would no longer just be happening to you, you'd be doing it to others. You think the cost of a house is high? Do a calculation of how much you would actually be paying by the end. That's assuming you live until then, and your wealth is steady and never interrupted. Can you gaurantee either of those?
Just rent. Amongst the best things you can give to your children is halal consumption, teaching Islam, and good manners. Not material wealth.

@@Abdullah34610 The problem with renting is that you are burning money every month. As opposed to having the money go towards a home that will be yours/within my family for many years to come. I live in an area where the average cost of a home is $500,000+ and it is only getting more and more expensive as inflation occurs. I understand that this Dunya does not mean much in the grand scheme of things... but is it really that bad to want to have a successful life in this dunya AS WELL as the hereafter? I feel that we Muslims are put in a position to lose automatically in this world. It feels that everything we try to do in America (including the simple concept of owning a home), is haram or unachievable due to it having things tied to haram. I am only 24 and I want to be an example of how someone can become very successful/wealthy in a halal way, but every day that goes by I realize maybe we are meant to be poor.

Besides, you're wrong. Shaytan has touched you and you've been afflicted by desires and doubts. It's almost as if you ignored every part of my message that didn't suit your agenda. Can you guarantee that you will live another 30+ years, while staying at the same place, and Allah will not test you with poverty during that time?
Even if the loan was halal, don't you know the dangers of dieing with a debt? Rasullullah (sallallahu aleyhi wa salam) did not perform the janaza Salah over anyone who had a debt which was not accounted for. Have you not considered that you might leave your family with a great burden rather than an asset?
What is your intention with trying to be this kind of example? Is it sincerely for the sake of Allah? If so, then know that it's Allah who provides for whom He wills, however much He wills. A Muslim can be rich or poor. A disbeliever can be rich or poor. It is not upon you to say "I'm going to be an example of a rich Muslim." It is your responsibility to be a good Muslim, even if poor, and tested with calamities. Give the message to people and explain to them to the best of your abilities. Focus on being a willing slave of Allah, not a slave to riba and other matters of the dunya. It sounds like you have no experience with loans, so let me assure you that there's a high risk that you'll be a slave to it.
You need to do more research on home ownership versus renting and understand that there's no clear answer to which is better, from the disbelievers point of view. Then you need to understand the poor quality of homes that are built today, and that it's unlikely you'll be passing on anything good to your family. You can't stand being "poor" in America, then make Hijrah. But do your research of course.
@@logistically - One thing I forgot to mention in the last message: not owning a home doesn't make someone poor. Wealth is not built over night. You're looking at your current situation regarding ONE topic and saying Allah has embarrassed us in the world? Akhi, there's so much to say but I don't even know if your heart is open to listen.
@@Abdullah34610 I don't believe it HAS to be a prison for believers. This is such pessimistic thinking. No one can guarantee they'll live a certain amount but I don't see what's wrong with accumulating assets while we are in this world while we can. I know it won't mean anything in the hereafter but our future sons/daughters can take advantage of this.
It seems that you may just not have the entrepreneurial spirit that I was raised with. My father was able to come to America and built himself up from nothing. He has done everything in a halal manner, and this was easily doable since prices of assets were very reasonable. We have reached a point in America where nothing is affordable anymore. I want to be like my father and build a beautiful future for my family when I pass, but it just doesn't seem realistic any more.
Your way of thinking suggests that we should spend day/night focusing on our Deen and forget everything else. Perhaps I am understanding your point incorrectly. Whether we like it or not, we have obligations in this world besides our deen (work/family/ect). I do not believe there is anything wrong with wanting to become successful in this dunya and amass a great amount of wealth. I would like to be an example of someone who made something of himself in this Dunya in a Halal manner, because so many brothers/sisters are turning to haram just to have an advantage in this world.
As for renting versus owning, I've done 2 years of research on this and can without a doubt say that owning a home is MUCH more logical/better long-term than renting. Burning money does not make any sense. Acquiring assets does.
