I hate the 2 people who disliked this. They are disrespectful to people's awesome work. I'm glad this video has so much likes and nice comments. I get very few nice comments. I do thank the few people who do appreciate my brickfilms. I spend hours making them... and what do I get: 1 like? 3 views? Anyway, I'm glad this video has all the praising its got.
+Way Out Animation A few weeks. If I had worked harder, I probably could have banged it out in two. Creating all the various LEGO elements took a lot of work, as well as all the key-framing for the battle animation sequence.
+Way Out Animation Thanks! At this moment, no. I was hoping to get a better response from this video, but it just didn't take off the way I had hoped. I have ideas though, so maybe in the future. Right now I'm developing a series that I'm excited to share with everyone.
+Plastic Planet Productions Huh, that stinks. I figured this video would be pretty popular... Can't wait for your series though. Can I ask what it's about?
+Way Out Animation The people who have watched this video enjoy it, which is great! The problem is the amount of time it took me to make relative to the views it is getting is not enough. I feel I need to focus my efforts on releasing a steady stream of content, rather than the occasional, intermittent video. Who knows, I may make more retro games in the future. My new series will be called "A Better Mousetrap" and will be about a homeowner and the mouse living in his house. You are the FIRST person to know this! I don't want to give out more details quite yet, but hopefully in the coming weeks I'll have some posters to share. This series will be a first for my channel and the videos will be much shorter than most of my other content. I'm trying to shoot for a length of 30 seconds. I'm going to make a few episodes before I begin releasing them so I have consistent (hopefully weekly) content.
+Plastic Planet Productions Yeah, I definitely feel your pain on that point. A lot of the stuff I work hard on gets few views, while the stuff that I made in 5 minutes gets tons of views. Kind of a discouraging deal seeing how the stuff that takes days to make is way better (in my opinion anyways), but I guess. The new series sounds great though, can't wait to see it!
+Plastic Planet Productions Hey Daniel! I just got the book "Brick Flicks" and just read your part in the book! Your statement "Manual Focus, Manual Focus, Manual Focus!" helped me get a better Idea of the manual settings and how you got to where you are now! This may have seemed random, but I just wanted to notificate you about it!
+Ian'sBrick Studio That's awesome! It was amazing being able to partake in the making of that book. Glad you are finding the material useful. BTW, I haven't forgotten about the BTS photos I promised. My dad had a medical emergency which put me behind on things, but he is starting to do better now. Hoping to get some stuff up on Facebook soon.
Hmm, I didn't think about it at the time, but I only have 2, and they aren't that good for this type of video, so I would have had to buy ones. Good thinking though. That would have been more authentic.
+Ian'sBrick Studio I created each thing separately (buildings, blimps, text), took photos of them in front of a green screen, and composited them in AE. I have some BTS photos I could share on my Facebook page if you're interested?
+Sammy Joy Monte It is a game! This video is based off the 1993 game Super Bomberman en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bomberman It's a fun game, but you have to have an old console to play it. If you ever have the opportunity, though, play it with your friends and you'll have a BLAST!
I mean, I would subscribe, but he makes inly 2-5 vids a year! sometimes no vids a whole year! if he made vids more often... I would definatly subscribe
+Mac Guzman Hi Mac, I appreciate your comment. I just graduated college and am now animating full time, so I will be uploading content more consistently than before. I already have a new video finished and two more in the works, but they are part of a new series. When it comes time, I'm hoping hope to release 1 video each week, and so at the moment I'm creating a backlog of content so I don't disappoint anyone. Fortunately for me financially, unfortunately for my series, I just received another commissioned project that will be occupying my time this next week or two. Afterwards I'll be back, hard at work to get my new series rolling. At some point I'll start sharing teasers on my Facebook @ facebook.com/plasticplanetproductions I appreciate that you like my content, and hope that you stick around to see what develops in the coming months. I want to be a full-time RUclipsr and know that consistent content is key to growing an audience. I just wish these animations didn't take so darned long to make! The more I work, the faster and better I become, though, and I feel my dream can become a reality if I stick to it and work hard. I know excuses are excuses, but for the past month and a half I've been assisting with a family medical emergency, too. My involvement is becoming less necessary, but it still occupies time in what always seems to be a day that is too short. Mac, it's comments like yours that encourage me to work even harder to give my fans the quality content they deserve! Thanks for watching my videos :)

+Viperinelight50 sorry to hear that. I feel your pain. It's difficult to spend hours or even months and get little attention.
+Plastic Planet Productions It's getting better. I gained 3 subs in 2 days, and I have 6 likes on my latest video!
+Viperinelight50 That's great to hear!
+Plastic Planet Productions Well I DID gain 3 subs and 6 likes. I lost 1 like and 2 subs ;(
Great job!

+Way Out Animation A few weeks. If I had worked harder, I probably could have banged it out in two. Creating all the various LEGO elements took a lot of work, as well as all the key-framing for the battle animation sequence.
The insane effort. Wonderful.
