one of the best Country we've been too! love all the scenery and how clean the area with the fresh air too! great road trip, hoping we could go back again one day!
Nice video from the roadtrip on the Swiss Alps! Also, I want to mention that you have passed in total 17 traffic lights, 3 tunnels with total length of 3.21 km and you have made in total 46.5 km.
Rode that road this year (2022) at then end of June, the last stage of a journey from Austria to the nights hotel in Valbells. Overall no problems until Schmitten where a tourist coach met a postbus at one of the narrowest points on the road. Several vehicles including the postbus had to reverse up the hill to allow the coach to get through first before we could get past the narrows.
At 7:00 you approach the Belvedere Hotel. We stopped there during a tour from uk to Italy Arrived on the final days of the Tour de Suisse race. Had to negotiate our way to get to the hotel Commissaries marshalling the time trial had 4 Skodas and riders left.... Then suddenly they had a 5th car in the queue😄
Hola, sus videos me parecen muy buenos y me encantan los paseos por donde nos lleva, los paisajes hermosos que vemos, gracias muy bueno, saludos a su señora esposa, que aparece en algunos videos 👌. Desde Argentina 🇦🇷
I recently learned that between Surava and Tiefencastel the Brienzerplatte is in a state of slow landslide. It is sliding down to the valley at a rate of 1.2 m /year. A few years ago a part suddenly came down and damaged the railroad. The just passing train just escaped a dissaster and the locomotive was suddenly hanging free above the former track. Only slightly hurt passengers luckily. Again a great videorecording from a great landscape.
Davos: where the rulers of the world* gather to make their plans. I wonder where they meet? Probably some big country house hotel that they entirely book up. Looks like cyclists in Davos are a bit manic. * and sometimes some politicians as well
I'm all for showing cyclists respect by not trying to run them off the road. On the other hand, too many cyclists don't believe they have to follow traffic rules Around here, they regularly run red lights and stop signs.
... And there we have silly overtaking of the week 37:41. Outside of a blind bend, with no way of seeing what might be coming the other way (as indeed there was) ..
@@SigisTravelVideos -- Sorry to upset you, you're completely in your right for driving the speed limit or slower. However I'm just saying this is what will happen when multiple people feel they are being held up, and it can result in a terrible terrible accident. For that reason I avoid putting myself in such a situation, either by keeping up with the flow of the traffic, or by avoiding such roads. You can carry on driving as you feel is fine, but sooner or later a disaster may happen, and regardless of whose fault it will be, I would rather just not be part of the accident. Thanks, don't mean to piss you off, just saying it's a disaster waiting to happen.
@@user-vf3lx9ix3e I'm not upset or pissed off. I love driving fast, but I really hate paying for speeding tickets. I got a speeding ticket in Switzerland for being 3 or 5 km/h over limit once. Your argument doesn't hold water either by saying "when multiple people feel they are being held up, and it can result in a terrible terrible accident". It almost sounds that you are using your argument as an excuse for speeding. BTW, Thanks for watching my videos!

Lucky you got through Schmitten before the post bus coming the other way. That road Is very narrow through the village.
Yup, the roads are very narrow at some places.

Very nice. Some of the roads in the towns are very narrow. It's a wonder that cars can manage to maneuver their way through. Where to next?
There are some very narrow roads in Switzerland, and sometime you have to back up if you have opposite traffic.
wonderful views. Stay Healthy!
Thank You, you too!

This is what happens when a vehicle is driving too slowly holding up everyone behind him.
In a previous video a motorhome overtook him!
@@user-vf3lx9ix3e As I said before, If driving the SPEED LIMIT is to slow for you, feel free to overtake me 👍
