I'm new to yall and your channel! Big fan for sure. I just bought my son a warbird p40, not realizing how hooked we would get!! What is an OK(budget) controller for the dual 30mm A10? Super new, so please forgive me if I'm asking a stupid question lol
honestly it sounds great in theory, but for that money i could build 2-3 of those trucks with all the bells and whistles. and still have enough over to buy lunch.
You guys attract the meanest people. But just remember, they keep coming back to watch more. I love your channel, I'm no expert either but its all fun. Thanks guys.

Great idea but for the money you spent, at the very least, they could have backed the red body color. You can see light right through the red body color.
You guys are really starting to support anything... very disappointed your reviews lean towards up selling versus honest reviews...
No wheelwells. lights .metal bumpers . Interior. Rock slider. 4 link skid plate. Front skid plate. Its a big no . This isnt worth 1300.

It’s a $700 rtr plus $600 in labor LOL. Seriously, it’s missing a bunch upgrades ,missing weights, high links, decent weighted metal rims and decent tires and winch.

Crawling is an art. I've been doing it for 15 years. She needs to go slow up that hill. Full throttle has no grip.👍
I own tons of RC’s and love the feeling of unboxing and running a RTR vehicle, plane, heli, or FPV quad….but nothing beats the feeling of spending a couple hours building your own and then running it for the first time!! Anyone can build their own RC nowadays. There are so many helpful RUclips channels and the included manuals are detailed and easy to follow. Anyway…love your channel!!
Glad you had fun with it but I think I will stick with building my own crawlers.

Okay on your other video I was saying this wasn't that bad of a deal but after watching it run you would've been better off with a Trx4 and some mods.

This cost $200 more than a SCX6?? I'm confused, unfortunately a cool program like this will die due to being way over priced not actually saving you money and barely any options. Hopefully horizon will make some changes to keep the program going.
Like I'm not trying to s*** on it cuz he has the x3 is a decent rig but I would think for 1300 you could paint the body correctly so it's not transparent and don't the $500 SCX-3s come with wheel wells

Thank you for showing us that this exists, but after going to the website and looking at the options and prices I feel this is a bad way of getting a "modified" rig. The prices are just too high, and the selection is not very good. Keep up the videos and I hope yall have fun with your build!

There's no backing coat. Sad.
I am surprised it has taken them this long to open up a Custom Shop. With guitars, the Gibson and Fender custom shops respectively produce some of the best built customized guitars. They do come with a custom price as well. 🙂 But if you want something different from their usual offerings, a Custom Shop can give you the quality and special to you set up without having to do the work yourself.

@@TheRcSaylors The other nice thing about Custom Shops is that customers will try things that the people who normally put products together would never think of. Things that will trickle down to their regular offerings, new innovations and product combinations. Plus those who have the extra cash can get the satisfiation of something built to their spec.
I am doing OK. Spend New Years Eve driving 7 hours, down to southern Ontario to visit a friend I haven't seen since she moved to Europe 20+ years ago. She was back in Canada visiting her family, and I was able to visit and meet her family as well. It was a good start to the year. Hope that you and family are ready for your new delivery! I do love this hobby myself, I have a couple of RC's myself one electric, one NITRO, I've had the Nitro for at least 11 years with one motor change, but I am liking this Axial Crawler, very nice,

In my opinion it's way overpriced for what you get, and you could literally build two good crawlers for what this thing costs. I don't think the service will catch on due to it's inhibitively high pricing unless you have a lot of cash to burn, which I don't see many hobbyists utilizing even if they have the cash.

Lol probably not! I can’t imagine a time when, unless you were really under a bind on rocks for an extended period of time, you’d NEED an ESC fan on a crawler. Cool though! Now we just need some lights on this thing! 👍😁😎⚓️

For Bash Mountain, the Axial Ryft would be better suited. The battery is mounted above the front axle. Thereby giving more traction climbing.

To everyone who thinks this is overpriced, you are forgetting the fact that someone actually has to build this too. There's assembly cost and cost of parts.
Assembled in America too! This is as close as “made in America” as it currently gets. If RCs were truly made in America, a RTR 1/10 crawler would likely cost $900 or more!! Last I checked all the other RTR out there have to be assembled as well…this thing is overpriced as everyone is saying with no really useable upgrades to better your trailing. JMO.

Most likely someone spends $1,200 on a trail crawler, that will perform poorly compared to other people who bought a kit and spent less. Then when they realize what other people have for less money they will feel like they got ripped off. That is no good for the hobby...this only benefits horizon.

It's a crawler. It's designed to be a crawler. I'm not saying everyone enjoys crawlers, but if the speed of the truck was your problem from the beginning, why did you sit and watch a video about a crawler RC in the first place?
Your complaint is like if you watched a video on the new Mini Cooper car and complained because it couldn't drive off road or haul an RV behind it.
Watch videos on types of RCs you like, and if you don't like crawlers, don't waste your time watching crawler videos and don't complain when a crawler acts like EVERY OTHER CRAWLER on the market.

Wow that's an awesome crawler if I had to complain about anything in it's the paint being very thin and they didn't shoot a backing color of white or black so you can see through the paint but wow why was it so expensive,,? The money is in the ESC, motor and servo.. It's need a couple hundred more in weight 😁
I feel like this is just another way for big corporations to run out the little guy. If you buy a RTR there is a 98 % chance you will upgrade something. Eliminate the local shop that provides tech, and parts and the hobby will slowly dissolve. It has happened in all other small business’s across the spectrum. For fun go to the custom link at Horizon. Build a rig. The prices are super expensive. Actually just dumb. Why not support your local shop and buy from them. The amount of tech support locally outweighs mail order 10:1. Ask anyone at the next event how successful you are at big corporations with help. I’ll take my local shop and the guys that will help me enjoy the great hobby we have any day.
I see that but also a large swath of the nation doesn't have a LHS. I don't. The nearest hobby shop near me is 85 miles away and it's a Hobby Town. There is actually a hobby shop about 15 miles away but they only deal with one brand and it's the brand I don't have much to do with for various reasons. So I'm in the boat of ordering online most times. I prefer to build things myself but also understand some folks aren't about that life.
