  • It would have been so easy to have overlooked the trails from the shortest lift in the 3 Länder Enduro Trails zone - that would have been a mistake!

    I aprreciate immensly you are presenting the less well known trails as well to give a broader view on the variety of trails in that region. I had tons of fun watching! Tanks

      Thanks Thorsten. You are more than welcome! I had an amazing time riding the Mutzkopf, but without Jays tip I might well have missed some of these trails.

    Darren Those trails are hard, huh. you end up exhausted but I see that if the trails were not like this you would not enjoy them, hahaha, wonderful video dear friend.

      Thanks Sergio. You are right! If it was too easy and there was no challenge, I would enjoy it half as much.

    Man I haven't seen your videos in a long time, have you been away? I must say I love all mtb videos but yours really inspire me, your riding, commentary and of course location are second to none ✌️❤️

      Thank you so much. I haven’t been quite so regular with the videos, but I haven’t had any long breaks. It’s probably just the algorithm not showing you my content in your feed.

    Hi, I went to Nauders last year and I agree with your thoughts on their trail grading. I think you've done a really good job of showing the trail condtions there. The Mutzkopf trails are no joke, I also went silent during the bottom section of the Elven trail!
    The "Blue" graded trails off the Haideralm lift remind me of the black rated trails at Redlands Surrey Hills.
    I think Nauders would make for a decent an EWS race.

      Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video. You must be the first person from the UK that I have heard from who knows Nauders. I wonder why it’s not in so many people’s radars 🤔. I also think it would make a great location for an EWS race. I’ve Never been to Redlands, but if it’s got something in common with Haideralm, it can’t be bad 😉

    Wow Darren …. Never seen so many roots. From what I understand that the trail rating goes green , blue, red then black. Is that right? Here red is the double black diamond so green, blue, black and Red

    • @TrailTrackerSwitzerland
      @TrailTrackerSwitzerland  Год назад +1

      I know - so many roots. Imagine riding it in the wet!? Those are indeed the trail ratings here in Europe. But round here they are a bit all over the place. An amazing place to ride though.

    I love the Mutzkopf , it's a little Enduro paradise in and of itself. And it's too often left aside for the more scenic rides on Bergkastel and Schöneben. As far as I can tell you left out the name-giving "3-Länder-Trail" which is the connection between Schöneben and Mutzkopf. You need to do a pretty long uphill first (so no lift) and then can descend towards Mutzkopf and Nauders. The upper part is most scenic and in the lower part turuns into the definition of "root-fest" 😜 you can have a look here ruclips.net/video/bPI5wx0RsPY/видео.html

      I was really impressed by the Mutzkopf. I’ll be sure to go and check out the vid of the 3-Länder Trail. I thought about checking it out while I was there, but I didn’t want to to sacrifice descending time for the climb since I only had 3 days of riding. There’s always next time though 😀
