when the vocalist changed for this band it was such a smooth transition for me. like went from loving seven years to loving bury your head and other cove songs just as much.
You probably didn't notice as it's been a little bit since the last one, but this is actually their second vocalist Cove Reber. The original vocalist Anthony Green ended up leaving and forming Circa Survive but came back and did their most recent album. Both are great though and generally my favorites are from this album with Cove. Their lead guitarist Justin and drummer Alex are an amazing team and wrote some really sick and tasty tunes before Justin left. You gotta try the song Sleepers!
I could listen to this whole album from beginning to end without ever skipping a single song cuz it’s just so dang good. However yes I agree with you, my favorite songs off this amazing album are sleepers and Follow and Feel.
Saosin needs to go viral on these reviews...no joke. You guys have to listen to all their songs with AG and Kove. All so fucking amazing. One of the most influential post-cardcore bands. The sound is perfect IMO
You should react to this whole album, lots of nostalgia and probably a top 10 album in this genre for me, I think you'll like cove reber's style better than anthony's, lot's of memorable songs that stick with you for years. 'Bury your head' and 'some sense of security' are my favorite songs from this band.
Wooo back with some more Saosin!! This time some Cove love!! Thnx Chris!! EDIT: yes you pronounce it like Say-oh-sin, the name is derived from a Chinese proverb? Xiao Xin? To be careful I think. It’s been a while
Anything from the newest album would be awesome! Control and the urge to pray has a music video. Anthony came back and although I love Cove, this band suits Anthony so much better tbh
Hi Chris, my brother Zac got me into watching your reaction videos. I'm enjoying them and glad you are checking out Saosin! They are one of my favorite bands along with DGD and I've been a long time Slipknot fan. I think it's time for you to check out my two favorite bands, Emery and Every Time I Die. Please do reaction videos of the following: Walls by Emery A Colossal Wreck by Every Time I Die
If you liked this, I highly recommend Ghost Atlas - "Sacred Organs" or "Elixir of Life." Elixir of Life has a music video, so you might want to check that one out first. This is a side project from the clean singer of ERRA. He has actually gone to say that he has a lot of influence from Saosin
I’m still waiting for that circa survive reaction, Anthony, while not in this era of the band is such a great vocalist and while the beetle album from saison is really great, the new Anthony stuff is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
This whole S/T album is an absolute masterpiece. Beginning to end - amazing. Ahead of its time when this came out.
Agreed I was a junior in high school when it came out still listen to the album all these years later.
Real statement right here. Definitely the Saosin’s Magnum Opus 🤟🤩 🪲
“I Never Wanted To” my personal favorite track in that Album 👌
Probably one of the most underrated bands ever. Shout out to Alex Rodriguez on drums! Beast
"Saosin - translating the name" its a good one, one of my personal favorites😁

Xiao Xin? To be careful I think. It’s been a while
wow saosin, what a throwback
Great band.. My Saosin recommendations would be Changing, The Silver String, and Drinking from a Fountain.
This is my favorite song with Cove as the vocalist. As for my favorite song with Anthony as the vocalist, I would say it's 3rd Measurement in C.
Hell yeah.
Also, audio wasn't that bad. Good job dude, keep em coming :)
Saosin - I can tell
Dang, this brings me back to high school.
damn! this brings back memories! forgot about this song
God this album is so amazing 😌
Ya I would run these alongside your dgd reviews for sure. They brought alot to "the scene"
Oh and Chris, you are doing great! If you like saosin you will love Circa Survive
Saosin - collaps

Broken Frames by Eyes Set To Kill
Hey man have you heard saosin - you're not alone. One of my faves I'm sure you'll like it!
Saosin - The Silver String
can you do bury your head?
seven years
Yep, he checked that out a couple weeks ago.
@@MikeOnDrums so lets recommend the silver string like the other guy said 😂
Bro its been a year, did you end up listening to 'Saosin - You're not alone'?
That was the one single I've heard many times from the band years ago!
You should react to "Voices in My Head" by 7ru7h
React to Saosin - (song) Translating the Name
Sore Distress
Anthony Green easilly has some of the best clean vocals along with Chester Bennington
