I’m looking to build a boat for a 20 acre private pond in Louisiana. Your content is amazing man! I already love bass fishing, and even though there are some other very informational channels out there, none make me want to actually get up and get out on the water like yours! I spooled it with 8 LB test mono for lighter lures, gave it some practice casts and found that it did cast well ruclips.net/user/postUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e , except that the anti-backlash setting had to be turned up almost all of the way to keep the "overcasts' ' down. I disassembled it, and found that if I potted some "shim washers" behind that anti-backlash magnet assembly, it got the magnets closer to the spool without rubbing, and I could get better control with about a 6 to 7 out out 10-Max setting. I also noticed that the handle shaft had some internal end play, maybe only 2 or 3 thousands of an inch, but it's still noticeable. If the anti-backlash and shaft tolerances were "tightened up" this would be a fantastic value. I've only used it for 4 days of fishing in a month's time, but I plan on keeping it.

@@Philc231 He’s a great angler for sure , but me and my son have been watching his videos for 3 years now and it’s the same thing on every fish he hooks . It goes from 6 to 2 pounds the majority of the time . Lol … I wish he could just quit trying to guess the weight of every fish .

Hey noah ive been watching you for a bit and love ur content keep it up. Im a young fisherman that wants to get deeper and deeper into fishing. Although i need to get a jon boat or a kayak and they are expensive these days i wanted to reach out to you to see if we could do a kayak or Jon boat give away agian keep it up.

Disappointed. I wanted to see the "getting the boat out of the pond" portion of this trip. Seriously.... great stuff. I actually felt spiders crawling all over me for 10 minutes. Now that's a good video. Great sound, great video, and now, great "feeling." Always love it when you two guys fish together. So much more fun with the interaction. Blessings!

I think the reason Noah snaps off so much is he doesn’t leave enough tag in after tying on new lures, with those power hooksets😂 it pulls so hard on the knot it just unravels 🤷♂️ but that’s just my opinion

If I was in that pond, green pumpkin thunder cricket or jackhammer. Some form of bluegill spinnerbait. Gator craw Greg hackney jig. MAYBE a skirtless buzzbait. Don’t even think I’d tie anything else on.

Man that sucks losing two behemoth largemouth bass in one day! I know how that feels because I lost a 5 lb monster back in May literally 4 feet from landing it and that sucked. I was able to catch my PB 5.2 lb behemoth largemouth bass that was 20.75 inches long on May 18th right on the outside corner of a culvert on a 4 acre lake connected to Clearwater Lake near Annandale, MN. I would be casting a dark plastic worm and fishing it slowly.
In a pond like that with next to no pressure, I will always start out with a top water, noisier the better, just to locate if nothing else.
