disconnect the fuel pipe to the carbs, pull the pipe back, put a bucket underneath and turn on the ignition key, it will pump the fuel out, you have to keep switching it off and on though :-)
do you remember how you did it because I'm trying to drain mine I have a 94 535 and I run the pump and it doesn't get any gas from the tank but yet I shake the bike and I can hear gas in the tank I disconnected the pedcock connected the pump to that and a siphon pump and I still don't get gas out of that tank any ideas?
It's a video I was going to post somewhere else and never used, I connected power to the fuel pump and disconnected a hose that ran out of the pump. Not everyone's here to be a professional thought leader content provider or whatever; you get what you pay for.

Show where and how you disconnected the fuel line bro.....
Thank you for your kind enquiry. I followed the fuel line from the output of the fuel pump to the carbs and removed it from there.
How well did all the rust and dirt come out of the bottom of the tank though?

I can't say it was too hard in my instance - I just connected power to the fuel pump and drained it out.
So whats happening here are you using something to drain the fuel out of the tank ?
I'm using the bike's fuel pump to drain both tanks.
How do you turn on just the fuel pump?
Guys, if you're asking those questions get a mechanic to look at your bike! 😬
Not much of a how to...
Samos12 it’s not intended to be.
Right on... Lol... :-)
Waste of time showing this with no explanation on how it’s done. Knowledge is to be taught to others, not for others to wonder how🤦🏻.
