If I ever work at Philmont French Henry is where I want to work. It was the most beautiful day of our trip. Standing high in the hills watching the mist roll away in the early morning was more beautiful than my memory can fully appreciate. The staff there made it even better too. All of you guys were amazing and many from my group would've liked to stay longer.
Small world! I have you on video walking through the porch with some firewood as my crew got our welcome speech on the French Henry porch at 3:25 pm on July 23, 2017 (the video is timestamped). This is a GREAT video and really gives some insight into how the staff lives. :)
I discovered my love of hiking and backpacking, alright, just everything outdoors. It is early April here in the Upper Peninsula and hiking season is upon us. Thanks for insp.
Passed though French Henry last year during August during the morning. Y’all were all still asleep.I saw the cat and immediately fell in love. Hope you don’t mind I took a picture with it!
I can't believe I found this. I was Crew Leader that summer when my troop went. Our group lifted the rail cart back onto the tracks just for the fun of it. I still remember the story about singing Ice Ice Baby while walking back to camp with a swolen out of socket leg from a rattlesnake bite. Absolutely nuts Edit: Did the cat there ever catch one of the birds?

Yo! It’s the John Dunn bridge in Arroyo Hondo. (Right outside of Taos.) There are hot springs just past it! Congrats on the job, where will you be working?
I'll be at Cimmaroncito, RC program counselor. I am really looking forward to working there, should be a heck of a time. I enjoyed watching all of your videos, they are very good. Are you still going to be working at Philmont this summer?
As a pc from way back in the 1980's, I'm glad to see that these traditions continue!

Worked at Philmont 5 years, 1998-2002... French Henry was my favorite in 1999.

Nice! I'm sorry to break it to you, but I was not born in 1898. My real name is Hannah and I use electricity daily.
Omg Ian and the Crater lake bois! I miss them so much! I was a Ranger and hung out with them often on days off! Great video!
