Just remember if an Aussie isn't taking the piss out of you (to mock at the expense of others without the element of offence) then they probably don't like you.
Yes, it's an odd thing for my American friends - our tall poppy syndrome too. They have a point - why can't we say nice things to our friends and celebrate people who are proud of their success? But I tell them that we really do say nice things all the time, and pushing someone's buttons is a sign that you know them really well, and is a social method of showing you can be honest, say what you think, and noone is going to hate you for it.
@@godamid4889 It's also often how we say things to each other more than what we say that can be confused, for example me and a female friend often mess with each other in what would look insulting to others. We would interact like this - Me: "Hey me and the boys are running a train tonight wanna join?" Her: "Sure want me to grab my strap-on again?" and then burst out laughing together. Now to an outside view that looks like I basically called her a sl*t however I left it open for her to come back at me with something just as messed up so it wasn't a statement designed to offend. If I had just come out and said "hey your a sl*t" that would be just mean and offensive with no option to throw a comeback, in other words a statement designed to offend. Yes us Aussies are a weird bunch.
This is the Van Vuuren brothers, and they have a great song called A Song About Birds you might like. They did a TV series a while back called Soul Mates which was hilarious but can be a hard watch at some points.
Just so you know. Although I think most Aussies feel this way, we really just care about American's. We tell things how they are and we just want you to realize how insane your guns laws are and that you should care about your neighbours, I mean wtf!!!
I agree with that. The whole gun argument in America now is primarily if you ban guns there are so many in circulation that you are just taking them away from the hands of law abiding responsible citizens who have them for defense cause the criminals are gonna get them anyways. Thats the primary argument I am seeing anyhow. Also they are really cool and fun to shoot responsibly.
Had to watch this a few times haha. We can always rely on an honest reaction here ! 😀 Great vid and channel, been a sub since 200. Solid (great) reaction.
Made my foot tap as well as having a message that nature can be as deadly as humans just that nature does not kill you for fun, its instinct or for food.
I think if only those who need firearms had them, and anyone who had a firearm was held responsible for it’s safe keeping and illegal/miss use, there would be more lives saved than lost.
Your reluctance to publicly comment positively or negatively about the anti-gun message is a clear reflection on the volatile state of America right now. Have you watched Aussie Jim Jeffries clip on gun control? Definitely worth looking at as a reaction video.
other fitting videos might be: ruclips.net/video/kdihHnaOQsk/видео.html ruclips.net/video/q8AP5XYs8jg/видео.html first: "Welcome to Australia" and second: defeat an AR15 gunlock with LEGO(R)
The spin of a crocodile is called ‘The Death Spin’, it can be fatal if you don’t get out of it fast enough. The weak spot of a crocodile is its eyes and the nose. If you can punch it in the nose it sometimes will leave you alone if you punch it enough. Same with the eyes. It’s eyes are unprotected but the skin of a crocodile is extremely hard. So it’ll hurt you more than it hurts the crocodile if you punch it anywhere but the nose. Also, fuck the crocodiles.
Its an awesome song with a powerful message. It may have already been said, but we've NEVER had a School Shooting in Australia and our kids have NEVER had to undergo Active Shooter drills, thank God. ( I can't imagine the fear so many American kids must live with every single day!)
I think Jim Jefferies got the Aussie point of view on gun control exactly right (not ok for youtube if your not ok with a lot of unfiltered Aussie language).
they missed quite a few things actually like tornadoes bushfires and flaming tornadoes that happen when a tornado passes through a bush fire (real thing)

The Aussie that made this video is a fuckin legend. You Americans should see your faces when you realise your react video is about gun control. CLASSIC 🤣🤣
Sorry! But it is true .... your government is so controlled by the NRA and could make another amendment (which has happened previously - ever heard of the second amendment) to outlaw guns to this extent. What it’s callously (some would say?) saying is these are antiquated laws when you had to use a muscat to reload. To us it seem simplistic that this shouldn’t be something that the general populous in America should have to worry about. It’s sarcastic but what you possibly should take from this is we do care at the end of the day. We just see it so senseless and ridiculous.
This is not true we have nice animals koalas kangaroos we have dangerous ones and we’re not mean to you I love everyone I don’t mean I am Australian my name is Campbell Campbell I hope you have a great day I like to RUclips channel I knew I hope you have a great holiday
We have a sense of humour about our own wild life, but regular people don’t have guns here, Farmers, police but you need a license. I’ve never seen a real gun. Our wildlife supposedly kills heaps of people, I’ve never known anyone personally killed by any and I’m in my 60s. The humour was, our native wildlife is less dangerous than the guns Privately owned in America. If you don’t know any Aussies, you won’t understand our humour
@@bernadettelanders7306 haha yes I got all that! I'm Australian and my message was a sarcastic response to him saying in the video that he thinks there was a message in this song lol🤣
Calling it BS would be a good start. Those creatures exist, but most people never see most of them and deaths are rare. The AR15 on the other hand is much more dangerous if the wrong person gets hold of it. As an Australian, living in Australia I feel completely safe here.
@@stevenbalekic5683 Pretty much everyone I know thinks the protestors were ar*eholes and the cops went too easy on them. No, Australians are actually jealous that the cops get to shoot rubber bullets at those missile throwing, anti-vax, covid-denying, covid-spreading butt-hurt morons. If the cops offer one shot for $100 they'll have a queue a 20 kms long.
