    HI,
I liked your design, is it possible to share the 3d?.

I am happy to see this interesting mechanism. As far as I can see, this mechanism is similar to a tank. A drive motor is placed at the end to turn a gear/sprocket connected to a chain, causing the motor body to move as well. The core of this mechanism is ensuring that the chain always remains connected to the gear/sprocket, without any slipping due to a loose chain. Therefore, in real-world applications, a chain tensioner needs to be installed. Is that correct?

Does it have 2 chains? And if I understand correctly, the chain is fixed to the structure and this the anchor that allows the gear to move forward and backwards right?
PD: I was looking for a mechanism like this for my warehouse since I want to make a bot that picks boxes and this will help to put/get the boxes from the shelves

I wonder if this is what the Forestry Forwarders have on their extenda booms to grab logs. John Deere Forwarders, they have a chain designed like this, I am looking for explanations and maintenance for a single stage hydraulic extension boom. With a cylinder that is upside down. The rod is at the top and barrel at the bottom inside the box.

Does it have to use chains? What other mechanism could work if modified?
