It took me at least 20 times to win that WrestleMania Royal Rumble. I literally won it on easy to get the rewards then went back to win it on legend without having to complete the elimination objectives.

Then I tried with Shawn Michaels for another 10 or so tries because of his Superkick against the ropes, and then I ended up using Cody because he also has the Superkick and the Rage payback that gives you a finisher right away. Was successful with Cody after about 5 tries
As Stone Cold I won it the second time. The stunner stacks up quick in your meter and once they are stunned you can throw them out with just an Irish whip.
Ok hear me out. A wwe game that's arcade-like in style, but with Matell figures that are scaled to size. Figures, chairs, tables, bells, all kinds of weapons to use at your disposal as well as your surrounding environment. Instead of a wrestling ring, you wrestle in an open area-like bedroom. Able to climb dressers, fans, guitars, computer chairs, computer desks etc with tables, ladders and weapons scattered throughout. That would be pretty dope. Someone suggest it!
Why won’t 2k add the crowd back into the empty seats near the stage area? We had it for 2k20, then it disappeared in subsequent versions. It would be a cool feature for those of us who like retro arenas.
Anybody else a little disappointed that certain moves don't make opponents lean against the ropes/corner this year? I always put Forearm Smash 8 on my CAW and it was helpful in putting opponents in the corner or against the ropes without having to use an irish whip or drag.
Fastest way to complete showcase is cracking up the attacker submission strength to full then just press RT/R2 + B and make then submit. I had brought 40 Y pack and it took 20-30 mnts to complete.
Everyone complained that there were less than half of the number from 2K14 but forget how awful it was to get through all of those matches back then, especially the ones that weren't really that great to begin with.
I spent money on these wrestling games since ps3, ps4, and Steam. It's not even worth buying these games if they still closing down the server and not fixing the bugs each time they release a new game.
When will they incorporate procedural animation and let us make tag entrances based on members? An example would be Hulk Hogan and Cody Rhodes. They would both have their entrances animations, except in a tag entrance. I say this because creating individual animations for every possible combination would take ages and take up more space.
I feel like I had an easier time with showcase than most for some reason? I played on normal whole way through and only failed once due to me messing up the punt kick as Randy. As for the the rumble I chose the undertaker (true king of WM no doubt) and played it safe, still though there was a lot of near falls with the ai.
@user-vs5bc1rq4n tbh they are way better than 2k23 I am able to finish majority of my online matches on 24. I get a crash here and there but not alot. Fingers crossed but I haven't had the Irish whip crash yet either with multi man matches.
I used The Fiend, and I beat the rumble on the second try, but technically it was the first try because when it loaded the match I was spawned outside the ring and I lost immediately. That rumble was no joke though.
If you are Ludwig Kaiser and have Gunther as a manager this will trigger a special entrance as well. Ludwig will be standing there with a mic and pretty much introduces Gunther. The entrance for Bray and Cena is actually already there as one of the Free Bird entrances. The fastest way to the crimson match is split them open first then start throwing weapons this speeds up the process.

For the Royal rumble at the end of the showcase, I did put it on easy and used triple H. Hey Assemble, so I'm not if the patch takes him out but, I got my hands on WWE 2K24 and in base game to my surprise Brock Lesnar is playable. I literally used him and have him absolutely destroy Dirty Dom Mysterio
5:20 I wish toy figures would be more "realistic" and had unique animations like for example their heads, arms or legs popping out or getting splashed in certain special moves like for example the head popping out after a Stunner or the head getting splashed after a Curb Stomp
I wish they made casket match like how it was in the old game, where you could move the casket anywhere in the ring and put but also lean anywhere would be a bonus, but the part where you have to do actual and any move and stuff to get your opponent in the casket and it’s a gamble even for yourself everytime you decide to open the casket.

I like the action figures to and wish they could make a game with just these....it feels more realistic in a sense. They are spot on with how the toys look more then trying to make the roster look like real ppl.
The announcer table has many glitches, if you go up on it or even throw into it, sometimes the game recognizes you being on the table even if you go in the ring, and you cannot attack at all.
And there is special reversal for some superstar like when you are playing with KO and reverse a superplex he will do the fisherman slam thing, and I also found out that Ivar can do his handspring when he reverse a rebound attack

I agree with the infinite stamina for that RR match, I can't chain attacks and defend from multiple angles without getting gassed and whipped out of the ring.
I wish they'd add nitro stage to create an arena so we could do an updated version. Also would love to have create a show where we can go in & set up matches for raw, Smackdown, ppv & have mini achievements or options to progress the storyline. But we set up all matches for every show, also pyro openings to the show
I beat the rumble on the 3rd attempt. I used HBK. Funny thing is, the first two losses, both times I got eliminated by Rollins who came in at like 24. Both times right as I eliminated someone, he ran and clotheslined me over the top. The 3rd time I had a super kick waiting for him.
I did the rumble with roman, just brought them over to the ropes, ran and booted them over. If anyone reversed you can just grab them and do it again. Was 1 on 1 the entire time 👍🏾

One note regarding showcase mode. I notice that if you throw someone over the top rope and you punch them off before the animation finishes, it won't count as an elimination for you for the purposes of the showcase objectives. So be careful with that!
Yea that was weird but I still completed them all the first time I played it. Switched to doing finishers while leaned up against the ropes instead and it worked perfectly.
My favorite feature is the fact that almost none of the default teams in the game have their own tag entrances. Oh and the constant crashing when coming out of a match
Yeah well, the latest patch didn't do what it was supposed to do, it STILL didn't fix the issue with lighting transferring from create an entrance to play mode. Created wrestlers especially are forced into default lighting and very heavily shadowed, and sometimes their skin and hair textures don't render fully. They REALLY gotta fix this!
It's really perplexing why they didn't include the entrances in WM Showcase especially including the entrances anyway lol ...Entrances at WM are a huge part... whhhyyyyyy
I wish they would do the curbed ramps for Royal Rumbles or SummerSlam 23. I'll even take a long ramp @6:09 for WrestleMania. All they would have to do is copy paste the crowd, the ramp. Finally just extend the walking ramp sequence for the wrestlers. I'm sure people wouldn't even mind if the walking animation repeated itself twice.
I tried doing the ring break last year with Vader and Andre and couldn’t do it. So they need to add the OMG Moments back for that and the barricade breaks.

Just pick Andre the Giant for the Rumble match and run through it. That's what i did and i had no issues.
I really wish they had a match from every WM in the showcase so you can unlock more superstars, attires and arenas.

Is that a new problem? In 22 and 23, it asked you if you wanted to save your changes in multiple save files. Haven't tried Universe in 24 yet

Playing the firefly funhouse match and rewatching it was so awesome. I think it was the best part of the showcase.
There's quite a few champion specific cool entrances. Rhea and Dom have one as long as Rhea has a title.

U can unlock all the areas in showcase if u buy 40yrs of wrestlemania Editing and includion Wrestlemania 40 area as well and all the season pass unlockables
It doesn’t unlock the arenas it only unlocks the wrestlers

One note regarding showcase mode. I notice that if you throw someone over the top rope and you punch them off before the animation finishes, it won't count as an elimination for you for the purposes of the showcase objectives. So be careful with that!
Yea that was weird but I still completed them all the first time I played it. Switched to doing finishers while leaned up against the ropes instead and it worked perfectly.

The only thing they need to add next year is Tag Team Turmoil. I have wanted this for a while now and they now have the means to do it.
My favorite feature is the fact that almost none of the default teams in the game have their own tag entrances. Oh and the constant crashing when coming out of a match
Yeah well, the latest patch didn't do what it was supposed to do, it STILL didn't fix the issue with lighting transferring from create an entrance to play mode. Created wrestlers especially are forced into default lighting and very heavily shadowed, and sometimes their skin and hair textures don't render fully. They REALLY gotta fix this!
I really hope 2K fixes the issue with the managers. They're constantly undoing the turnbuckle in matches.
Well, unfortunately the daytime arena for wm31 on PC is broken, there are no shadows in the ring currently.
You can also break the ring with non super heavyweights. Not sure who all it works with but I did it with Cody and Andre
It's really perplexing why they didn't include the entrances in WM Showcase especially including the entrances anyway lol ...Entrances at WM are a huge part... whhhyyyyyy

I wish they would do the curbed ramps for Royal Rumbles or SummerSlam 23. I'll even take a long ramp @6:09 for WrestleMania. All they would have to do is copy paste the crowd, the ramp. Finally just extend the walking ramp sequence for the wrestlers. I'm sure people wouldn't even mind if the walking animation repeated itself twice.
