+Freewayjim Yep. I live there, whenever we come back home from Myrtle Beach, the way it reveals itself in the sunset is just gorgeous to say the least.
Nice ride! Never been to Cincy even though I do live in Ohio! Nice to see the city and the differences between Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati! Nice ride!
Wow, I really enjoyed that FreewayJim! I grew up living in Cincinnati Ohio and I really enjoy the times I had with my Dad. Me and Dad used to go to the Kenwood Towne Mall all the time and then go over across the street to the huge Barnes & Noble bookstore. It's funny that one of the bands that I got my Dad hooked on was 'Dire Straits' and he fell in love with that band. Thank you for the wonderful video down memory lane, I love it. Have a wonderful Day Jim!
I love the 1967 road atlas Cincinnati map. I noticed that, unlike Hartford County, CT, Hamilton County actually finished their beltway around Cincinnati. I-275 East is the unofficial I-71 Express whereas the official I-71 is mostly used by commuters/local traffic and best to be avoided during peak times(i.e. rush hour). I also noticed that this video was published sometime in the past 12 hours before I posted this message.
I love this video. You're home is Atlanta. That's my hometown. I now live in Cincinnati, and I like it. Not too big, but not too small. Just right. Nice video showcasing my home.
Great video Jim! I know all about the 80-something mile I-275bypass. I unwittingly thought it would be a good idea to take, until I was still circumnavigating the earth 45 minutes later. On the round trip I just went straight through Cincy...
What was that stadium at 5:00?. Season flew by fast. The pressure was on after 2013 and you came through as I knew you would. Looking forward to the bonus trip and 2015
I've been using a new camera capable of 60 frames per second since the 2013 trip, some are lucky enough to have been uploaded since YT started taking advantage of the 60 fps. You can also see that effect in Videos 13-01 to 13-18.
Another year of great trip videos is about to end! This video was pretty awesome! What I want to know is are the bonus videos being uploaded next week?
Oh, one thing. Next time you are up in Monteagle, get of at US 41A and take a right. Check out the Jim Oliver Smoke House down that way If you haven't already. :)
You should come here to '' H - Town '' Next Year. There is some progress on I-45 and there are 3 new Exits, a completed flyover, and a flyover due for completion next March (2015) on 146.
The next three videos are already finished. The music has to fit the scenery and what I'm trying to do with the footage, you can't just drop any old song in there and have it work, and that song you mentioned is not something I'd be interested in using, sorry.
I never go drive anywhere without checking to see if you have a video of city I'm going too! Thanks again for the ride!
Thank you!
Great ride Jim...the last time I was in Cincy was 25 years ago...your video re-kindled those memories.
Thanks, it's a really neat city, hope you get back there again.
I love how the city's downtown skyline reveals itself when going around that bend at 4:45. Just seems majestic to me.
It's a great view, the camera does not do it justice.
+Freewayjim Yep. I live there, whenever we come back home from Myrtle Beach, the way it reveals itself in the sunset is just gorgeous to say the least.
That reminds me of west coast cities like Seattle San Francisco and Portland cause it’s so hilly the skyline reveals itself at a certain point
Im from Kansas City and it kind of does the same thing when you go west on i-70 you should check it out :)
And also coming down I 75 hill in Kentucky! The skyline view is majestic!
Nice ride! Never been to Cincy even though I do live in Ohio! Nice to see the city and the differences between Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati! Nice ride!

Thank you for the comment, glad you enjoyed it!
What a great ride thru the greater Cincinnati metro!!! Awesome footage! I appreciate all of your videos FW Jim!!! Mark in Iowa.
Thank you very much Mark!
Freewayjim You're always welcome Jim! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours from the Heartland!
Mark Smith Same to you!
Freewayjim I intend to. Thanks.
Great video (Jim), what a wonderful way to sight see from the comfort of my living room! Nice job!!
Thank you, Cincinnati is a neat city IMO.
Nice work! Although this season was shorter I enjoyed this one just as thoroughly as the last. Looking forward to your October footage.
Thanks...60 Videos (+ Bonuses) last year was a bit much, probably won't see a season like that again.

Yes, this is a "New Video" for the most part.
I love this video. You're home is Atlanta. That's my hometown. I now live in Cincinnati, and I like it. Not too big, but not too small. Just right. Nice video showcasing my home.
Thank you!
I'm in love with that dire straits song !
You have good taste.

Thank you...that's not the most efficient Beltway out there that's for sure, although the section in Kentucky east of I-71/75 is a very nice drive.
Great road trip, excellent looking videos and interesting roads. Also great music for all the videos. Thanx for posting everything.
Thanks, we still have a few more to go before the year end.
A great urban route. Thumbs up!
Thank you!
60 FPS is awesome on here! Nice one Jim.
What was that stadium at 5:00?. Season flew by fast. The pressure was on after 2013 and you came through as I knew you would. Looking forward to the bonus trip and 2015
Thank you! That stadium is Great American Ballpark, home of the MLB Cincinnati Reds.
Looking forward to the bonus footage! Thanks for all your hard work for a great 2014 season! See you in 2015!
You are very welcome Dave!
Great editing, man.
Thank you very much!
Good stuff as always - Dire Straits too ! Perfect day for shooting.
Thanks, yes the conditions were ideal!
+Samual Henderson Uh Cincinnati, where the video was shot.
Great vid Jim and good track to put with it! You and your love affair with Cincy!
Thanks, yes I do like it there :)
Great video now that's the Freewayjim that I know.
??? What was wrong with the previous videos?
Freewayjim Nothing there were all good some even gold.
Did you use a different camera and/or uploader? The framerate in this vid was surreal, almost giving me motion woes.

Very nice ending to the season!
Another year of great trip videos is about to end! This video was pretty awesome! What I want to know is are the bonus videos being uploaded next week?
There will be bonus videos on the next two Mondays and then a remix of LA Sensory Overload on 12/22.
I'm hoping for a Cincinnati drivelapse featuring the "WKRP in Cincinnati" song. Has this been done?
I don't know, I probably wouldnt use it.
Your camera is amazing. It feels like I'm driving.
Thank you!
I don't remember seeing any turn signals being used. What's up with that?
😃😃I love the freeway
Oh, one thing. Next time you are up in Monteagle, get of at US 41A and take a right. Check out the Jim Oliver Smoke House down that way If you haven't already. :)
I can't wait for next video
Would the DJs at "WKRP in Cincinnati" have played Dire Straits? :-)
Yes!!
Johnny Fever? no doubt
You should come here to '' H - Town '' Next Year. There is some progress on I-45 and there are 3 new Exits, a completed flyover, and a flyover due for completion next March (2015) on 146.
Great job! Unexpected end to the season. Season Finale?
Thank you, there will be bonus videos on the next two Mondays and then a remix of LA Sensory Overload on 12/22.
ok. Still, again, Great Job!
I-275: The only beltway bigger than I-435 here in KC, and only by a mile!
TimelessOne I heard that Houston, Texas has an even longer loop.
@Buddy Clem Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8) but that's not an interstate highway.
I didn't know Cin was known as the queen city same as Charlotte
Just a suggestion. You should also make a Remix of 13-33 Hard Rock LA U. S 101/I-5/I-110/ASP (Arroyo Seco Pkwy)
The remix is of 13-44.
I am saying that you should (also) make a remix of 13-33
Nash wayz I'm probably not going to do that.
ok. But, it was just a suggestion. So, I'm not going to fret over that. Have a nice day and I wish you a happy Thanksgiving! :)
Nash wayz Happy Thanksgiving to you!
How are you? Guess what? I just got back from Mockingjay! Its Awesome!
Good thanks.
Your welcome. Happy Thanksgiving (again)
I have a song suggeston for one of your videos Summer Song by Joe Satriani
intro song? @Freewayjim
It's an Apple Loop called "Chelsea Loft" ruclips.net/video/PkOgToM-3V4/видео.html
Can u please use the song meddler by August Burns Red in ur next video
The next three videos are already finished. The music has to fit the scenery and what I'm trying to do with the footage, you can't just drop any old song in there and have it work, and that song you mentioned is not something I'd be interested in using, sorry.
