This video is reminding me of how annoying the reused voice lines were. You just hear the same like 3-4 low quality voice lines in T7 that were reused for years and years. So glad they gave us new voice lines for everyone in T8

Balancing aside, can we discuss for a moment how absolutely sauceless Marduk is? Nothing about him is cool, his entire thing is "I am bigger and stronger than you".
The tackle at a certain range was so good and his comeback factor was off the charts. He was the robber no.1
I used to main this man in Tekken7, I have been telling everyone Marduk will terorise the game due to the new heat mechanics.

Oki with Marduk was a mix between a launch, a launch, and a back throw.
"Toxic" really is the perfect word. It's like an in-law who effortlessly annoys you at holidays translated into a fighting game.

I 1000% want Marduk to come back. He's a cool character. I just hope they can tone him down a bit. Maybe limit his bs options to heat only, and remove the tracking on tackle (as well as increasing the break window), add scaling to his launching throw and ground throw. They can make him interesting

I hope he'll be in Tekken 8 but in a more fair position, like with larger break windows, ground throws that only guarentees damage instead of relaunching, less overall damage, and his disgusting oki being locked behind heat at least
I read the title and the thumbnail didn't load, but I knew that it was gonna be Marduk.
You guys didn't had a problem with him in previous games, in T7 he was broken, so this means he will be broken in T8 too, but in reality they almost nerfed every broken/top tier from T7 in T8(Except Alisa and Feng, they are still just as strong as they were), and T8 DLCs are pretty balanced so far, no matter how much people cried about Eddy, Lidia being "broken" and now Heihachi, none of them tops T7 DLCs.

#1: First PC release in the franchise.

I really wonder how the devs thought some of the stuff in Tekken 7 was okay and kept it up until the final version of the game. While Drag is still insane in T8 he was still toned down a lot from the first release, heat dash pressure at the wall was also toned down. It's like if Kazuya kept his Goutsuiken string from CNT.
Would Marduk really make the game that much worse when compared to the toxic cheese we've already had to deal with in Tekken 8? May as well go all the way at this point.
The point is there was always cheese in the other games. Tekken fans base are just toxic. It's like people forgot how broken tekken 7 was in the first 3 seasons where death combos were possible. We're only 1 year in and it's far more balanced than tekken 7 was in the first 3 years.

0:14 FF 3,2 is a counter hit launch. Not a true combo
Well, you can launch with it if opponent is back or side turned or side stepping . That doesn't work with counter hit combos which only activate with a true CH. The problem is that ff3,2 is not natural unless you CH. But even though it's not natural you can still combo if opponent fails to block the second hit of ff3,2.

Point is, marduks massive combo damage is always only a result of CH. if you're constantly getting hit by marduk, it's your own fault for pushing buttons when ur not supposed to. And almost all his launchers are unsafe by the way. Funny how Adrian fails to address this
Exactly. Scrubs are always mashing buttons when they shouldn't be and that's why they keep getting hit.
Yup, FF 3,2 is not a natural combo 😂 scrubs need to get good. Not to mention Marduk with his back to wall is basically screwed. He has not panic move. Almost All his launchers will get you wall splatted with a 12 frame punish. He has no 13 frame df 1 poke, no generic 15 frame hop kick and basically no side step because his hit box is so big and slow. And his 10 frame punishes are basically non existent outside of 1,2 or 1, d2 for a measly 20 something damage 😆 Funny how mainman doesn't talk about that.
