I really don't understand this comment of “I can't be angry with him because he has a smiling face” because it's more irritating for me since he's always smiling. It's like he's blind to the chaos around him. Why are you smiling when your wife is struggling? She's constantly on her feet moving around to make things work, and he's just acting oblivious. It's irritating.

When he is smiling, I am getting pissed. He doesn’t understand or really lack the knowledge of the fact that he is not even doing bare minimum!
Even his kids weren't even scared of him, not that they were disrespectful to him. He just liked invisible..
He’s quite literally FOLDING LAUNDRY. He isn’t acting oblivious but the siblings arguing wasn’t anything BAD. Siblings argue all the time the older brother probably was just getting annoyed. He doesn’t have to break up a harmless fight. Him folding the clothes alone is taking a burden off of her cause I know men that don’t even touch their own laundry. Y’all don’t know this family therefore yall don’t know everything he helps with. This was a 10 minute clips of ONE moment in their house.
@@hotblackie7713folding half a basket of laundry is nothing compared to what his wife did over several hours, like taking all the children to do the groceries beforehand. He chose an easy task he can sit for. She ASKED for help putting everything away and he took snack instead and ignored her request.

I love that we all hate the husband as he is not doing anything but seriously I thing the lady said that oh I can't get angry at him because of his smiling face to protect him or something but guys it a new generation lady support lady oh I am so angry idk how this amazing , beautiful , hardworking women is STILL WITH HIM . may god help him and guide him
in recent times the return of superman has kind of lost its original concept. why is the mom doing all the work while the dad is being incompetent to the point where her eldest have to intervene?? he should do what the og dads had to do and take care of all 4 (or at least the 3 youngest while the eldest rests) for two days and see how much of a hassle it really is.
I stopped watching when they started the whole studio sit down thing
often, the parent (dad in most cases) is a celebrity or famous athlete and do the parenting. In this case, she's the celebrity and is known to public so I guess they didn't enforce the dad to take care of his own kids. I agree though that she could have been just a panel member, instead we saw her working hard as mom while the dad's incompetence and lack of empathy was obvious.
yea most moms are already supermoms, i thought the whole point of this show was to fathers more involved...

Her husband must have qualities that we don't see here but the wife does. We shouldn't be too quick to judge someone's life based on a episode. He must be fulfilling her emotionally. Just happy to see a lovely family.

He’s worse than useless. That’s why firstborn son steps into his role and second son cries so often…they have no proper father figure in the home growing up.

Seriously it’s infuriating to watch the mom work non stop and be ignored by her husband when she clearly asked for help, then he tries to win favour with the kids by feeding them bits right before dinner and ignoring mom saying don’t and then leaving parental responsibility to his eldest when younger kids had conflict. WHAT A USELESS MAN! It’s disgraceful to watch the mother of your children give everything to the family and you can’t be bothered to contribute, so she can maybe spend time with her children restfully too because you are both sharing the burdens…I feel sorry for her, she has 5 children if you include husband

Also, she’s literally trying to survive cancer..legal preparation and mandatory family mediation and court just adds more pressure and stress for the whole family. I speak from experience, my own parents who lack the ability to respect boundaries filed lawsuits against me 3 weeks after I began chemotherapy, because they believed I had no right to set rules or limitations on their toxic relationship with my children. They lost, but it negatively impacted my treatment and outcomes. Because of the culture of S’Korea having divorced parents is also seen as a stain on the children, they have less prospects for marriage and are frequently bullied and “lack of good parenting” is cited in any altercation or misunderstanding with peers. Divorce is far more detrimental to children in that society.
