Growing up without fathers is possible but mentally it's exhausting... I was a teen who felt these emotions years back, I had to be strong on places where i wanted to be a kid... I'm grateful for the current life at the same time I'm always wondering what life could hv been if i had a proper father figure when i was a teen... mental regrets, mental exhaustion and longing for a dad will always come after us... I feel sorry for Zen!! Hope he find peace and balance in life...!!! One thing for sure one day when he want to create a family it will be harder for him!! Baby Zen, Stay blessed...!!!
True so safe that he called him appa even if it was for a moment. One who lost his father and another one didn't have one to begin with met by fate! This was genuinely heart warming ❤️
Lee sangmin hearing Zen calling him appa must have touched his heart and everyone watching. He might have recalled a lot of things in the past and was lost in the moment. Sangmin-shi, you deserve happiness too. 😢
1st time i heard zen calling someone appa 😔 he must have feel sangmin warmth that make him call dad.... Such a emotional moment. I pray and wish happiness to both of them as they deserve ❤
I’ve always loved and respected sangmin, everyone makes fun of him but he worked so hard to pay off his debts and he has a good heart. This moment was precious ~
This episode turned into a Return of Superman episode. 😂 Kidding aside, it was such a heartfelt scene to behold. I've watched every Zen's episode in Return of Superman and he doesn't get easily attached to anyone. But he's comfortable with Sangmin. And Sangmin, I can imagine him being a caring and supportive father. I'm genuinely happy for Sangmin that things around him are becoming so much better and so he can open himself again little by little. ❤
This one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. I hope they can be father and son. He doesn’t have any kids, nieces or nephews. Zen has no dad, siblings or cousins. It would be great if they lived like father and son❤
I hope this is not scripted. But it’s too difficult and cheap to coach someone this young. But even if it’s not scripted, it’s still heartbreaking. But every family is unique , who are we to judge. I am sure his mom and grandparents love him more than many traditional families.
@fanofmanylegends9709 I agree with this. Who knows maybe Sangmin has been there throughout Zen's childhood helping Sayuri and we just don't know about it. Sayuri was comfortable enough to leave her child with Sangmin for him to watch over Zen and Zen actually looks very comfortable around Sangmin. I don't think this is the first time they have interacted but probably the first time on camera. Zen also seems familiar with Sangmin's new place as if he's been there before so who knows.
god, sangmin lived the craziest life. he rose SO high but dropped rock bottom. i understand why he wanted to spend so much money and live a glorious life before but then life wasn’t kind to him and took it back all over. good thing he’s standing back up again now.
This made me cry. I don’t even follow along these two humans. But I know Zen only has a mother. Hearing him say “appa” to this man hurts my heart for him. It seems so natural for him to say it, it’s like he’s been wanting to call someone appa. I usually say “this made me cry” but I don’t actually cry, I get emotional, this however made me actually shed several tears. This broke me. The man seemed very touched by it too, maybe he also needed that. I hope they find happiness and get what they both wish for!❤️
This is the reality of not having a two parent household in the end 😢. Both parental figures are very important in a child’s life. Even if 1 is doing the best they can, they can’t fill the shoes of the opposite sex and teach what the opposite can teach to the child. That’s why the single parent typical needs friends or family of the opposite sex to help them and fill in those spaces for them 😢. It’s a sad situation the deeper I think into it
I think it's Zen's mom that resists. A few years ago, when Sang Min went with Sayauri to visit her parents. They expressed they would like Sang Min as a son in law but because of the debt he still owed, he couldn't really express his feelings. It also seemed Sayuri was not interested in him at all in a romantic way. Sigh!
Oh my gosh, I cried for both of them. Zen who wants a Dad and San Min who doesn't have parents or children. 😭💔 I hope his mother gets married and I hope SangMin finds a good wife.
actually Sayuri unnie (Zen mommy) is really close with Sangmin oppa.. they already act as couple in one of the variety show long long way before (i'm not sure the show name, can search Sayuri Sangmin).. i think, Sangmin oppa must visit them regularly.. Zen kinda need a time to warm with others.. if he is this close with Sangmin oppa, he must be someone close to Zen... Sangmin oppa, you deserve all the happiness in the world.. hey, if you both still single now, maybe u guys can try... kikikiki🥰🥰🥰.. love ya
I was kinda disappointed & angry at Sayuri when she told Sang Min that Zen is sad bout not having a dad & has been asking about him. She said she doesn't know what to tell him. I'm like girl, you should've thought of an answer & how to explain things to the child as soon as you decide to get pregnant. It's like the most important conversation ever!
you have to understand that just because this is a show doesnt mean that this man will volunteer to father a child that isnt his. And Sayuri may not want that. Its all messed up but i blame the mother and sperm banks allowing single people to conceive.selfishness at its finest and the one who has to suffer the rest of their life is the baby
@@lilmamagc???? First of all, ur right about it not being Sang Mins responsibility and just cuz a child called someone dad, doesn't mean he's the chosen one or anything. But most importantly, it's completely fine to let single people who have the funds and will to go raise a child, do so. It's not selfish and people can do whatever the hell they want because you can obviously see Zen is cared for and loved. It's not messed up at all.
@camiiecam honestly it's pretty messed up if you really think about it.. considering the child's psychological wellbeing, the environment where they live in (prejudice), the culture and all. hope zen will grow up well tho
long term effect to this little boy..no father..go to schoo n saw his fren appa.how sayuri will explain..this scene make me so sad Zen no nothing..Sangmin drown with emotion...just married with Sayurumi n bcome zen father 😂
I really feel for this baby. I really hope he can find someone in his life that he can trust to be the father he was never allowed to have. That poor baby. I am single with no kids, but when I do I have kids I'm not going in a lone. they deserve a father. And its up to the woman to try her best to pick a good man.
He needs a father. I wish his mother had thought this through some more before deciding to become a single mother via sperm donation/IVF. Even though she's doing a good job as a parent, she can never fill the gap where his father should be.
She decided on this procedure very carefully because this was her last chance to have a baby due to her age and health of her reproductive system. She thought it through long and hard even consulting her parents. She didn't have a boyfriend at the time either nor did she want to rush into a fast marriage just to have a child. This was what her doctors recommended to her as the best choice to give birth. She mentioned this during interviews while she was pregnant. It was literally her best and only option at the time.
@@madmanmadlad2876 how? Her son has her as a mom and her parents are still alive and if she ever marries her future husband can be his father...He is not an orphan. There are plenty of people raised by a single parent and are successful in life.
