@Jim Caponzi Hey! I just found a guy with your exact name in this exact video of replies with a couple dozen replies targeted at you! What a coincidence! In fact, if I didn't know any better, I'd almost assume that you were a person who didn't like the church that constantly sends out people, aid, and money to places that have been devastated and constantly help out those in need. But you wouldn't do that now would you? As for your statement, allow me to add in some corrections: 1. Joseph Smith was a farm boy who asked a question about which church was true (As he did not know that at the moment), so he followed the guidance from John 1:5 (If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.) and asked. He received a vision from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and was told that none of the churches were true. Due to this, Joseph was confused, and later received the revelation from a Angel who was a Prophet named Moroni about a record that testified with The Bible. He was led to the place, and instructed that he could not obtain the golden plates for 4 years. After which, with the power of God, he translated the Gold plates into what we now call The Book of Mormon. 2. All churches are of God, however, just like genetics, over time things change, leaders leave, goals change, and sometimes, become corrupt. Now, I'm not saying that about The Catholic Church, as I don't know much about them, but if you would like, I would love to have a normal, civil conversation about them to I can understand them more. 3. The statement of being a disciple of Satan... this is the part where I will inject a tiny bit of my emotions: Are you freaking serious?! I mean, in the Sacred Grove (Where Joseph Smith first saw Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father) he had fear of being destroyed by the Adversary. In 3 Nephi (In the Book of Mormon which Joseph Smith helped translate) Jesus Christ literally comes to the ancient Americans and speaks to them, corrects their records, heals them, and gives them the sacrament (Which we practice every week to renew our baptismal covenants). Does that sound like a disciple of Satan to you? Hmm! HMM! 4. All churches have to start somewhere don't they? It doesn't matter how many members there are, so what's your point? Our church rose up (Wasn't established, that happened when Jesus came) in the 1800s, I don't even know how long the Catholics have been on the earth. Statistically, this comparison is not a accurate representation. I hope I helped clear some things up, have a nice day.

"He who takes offense when no offense is intended is a fool, and he who takes offense when offense is intended is a greater fool." Best Brigham Young quote of all time.
missfangirlcentral your entire beliefs are based off one man who has no reason to tell the truth, and Christians base their beliefs of of people who were with someone who died and came back to life, no offense intended. For one thing, mormans believe that there are three gods, and possibly more(the son, the father, the holy spirit) Mormans believe that there was a great apostasy, meaning that everyone would forget Jesus(who died and rose again, I don't think I would forget that). If the apostasy didn't happen, which I believe it didn't, then mormanism would be a lie. Jesus warned that there would be an apostasy, he did not say that there would be total apostasy, and therefore no reason for the bible to be "restored". No offense intended.
missfangirlcentral Joseph Smith was not a prophet of God because he made a prediction that was wrong, and he made many more predictions, for one he said there would be a morman temple built in a place such as Detroit on a certain day, and it did not happen.

What works for some some doesn't work for everyone, and I respect the right for everyone to do what they please, as long as it doesn't break laws. My stepfather was a historian-like-figure for the church, and really knows his stuff. He told me, among other things, about how a long time ago, the Mormons of the time had a bank and a lot of people had money in it. Then, they stole all the money. Also, he told me that when two members of the church get married, the wife is given a 'secret name' and only her and her husband know it. And when the husband dies, and the wife is also dead, he has to call her secret name to let her into heaven. I just think that may be a bit outdated for today's society, but whatever floats your boat. Also, I have heard from my LDS friend that they believe they are aliens, and that if they are perfect enough on Earth that the men get to become God for their own planet, and women get to be God's Wife for their husband's planet. Not sure if all of that is true, or if it applies to all of the individual churches in the religion, but that's just what I have heard. Oh, and also, my stepfather (having been in an LDS marriage) told me about the whole secret name thing, and how the members don't really know about it until they tell the church about their marriage, so maybe be wary if that if you don't want it and aren't already married.

We sometimes use different Bibles, even. I use KJV and, from what I've heard, so do Mormons. EDIT: I am in no way trying to say that some religions are better than others. @Jim Caponzi ok. You are way too much of a radical Christian. Yes, I am Christian too, but I am not going around yelling at people for not being christian. My atheist friend actually complimented me on that once. That's like if a jew came and yelled at you because jesus couldn't have been fully god and fully man or something like that. Dude, I'm all for educating people about our religion, but it's not good to yell at people cause they have different beliefs. Did you learn about the spanish in new spain? How they gave the native Americans a choice between converting to christianity or death? Sounded pretty horrifying right? Yeah that's basically how you're acting. Be french. They told the natives about christianity but didn't force change upon them.

@Jim Caponzi Listen. You don't like Mormons. Okay, I'll respect that. But yelling at us all online and spreading lies? That I can't respect. It's rude and really not cool. Christ taught us to love one another. And trust me, I don't think anyone in the right mind can call what you're doing loving one another. So if you call yourself a Christian, please, actually follow what Christ taught? Thanks :) Also, you're really just making yourself look crazy so I might stop it....

Yes I immediately thought about missionaries when they said that! I’m a Latter Day Saint too!
it doesn't matter if we talk about our church or not we can talk about our church if we want to
@Jim Caponzi Hey!
As for your statement, allow me to add in some corrections:
@Jim Caponzi wow you're.....intense 😅

Best Brigham Young quote of all time.
I take offense to that
missfangirlcentral your entire beliefs are based off one man who has no reason to tell the truth, and Christians base their beliefs of of people who were with someone who died and came back to life, no offense intended.
For one thing, mormans believe that there are three gods, and possibly more(the son, the father, the holy spirit)
Mormans believe that there was a great apostasy, meaning that everyone would forget Jesus(who died and rose again, I don't think I would forget that).

RamDaRealist yes a lot of the stuff Mormons do may seem unorthodox or even cultish but if you think on how the sort of history of Mormons go even if you don’t believe the religion it makes some sense. It starts with Joseph Smith’s vision and start to return doctrine and knowledge from god to the people of the world well if you think from biblical times when Jesus taught through Moses and even when Jesus himself was on earth some of the “cultish” stuff now was perfectly fine back then Moses had multiple wife’s even stuff we don’t believe but people think we do were fine back then such as sacrifices and slavery sorry for the long message but I just want to show Mormons aren’t monstrous satanists
I love that they can poke fun at themselves, people nowadays are so self-righteous and unwilling to admit they aren’t perfect and normal at all times.

I use KJV and, from what I've heard, so do Mormons.
EDIT: I am in no way trying to say that some religions are better than others. This is simply what _I_ believe.
It's not the first religious sketch, but I think it's the first Mormon one they've done. Which is weird, considering how they are Mormons.
Kelly Delaney yup we do use the KJV
Kelly Delaney they did do that Catholic one with the confession box.😉
Audrey Hanson, that's right! But Divine Comedy does A LOT of Mormon stuff.
Kelly Delaney that's so True!
I'm laughing *_so_* hard (as a Mormon I found this absolutely halarious!!!!!) I love Studio C so much!!!! I never thought the day would come but I think I now actually have a favorite Studio C sketch!!!!!
Jim Caponzi do you think that is something that she would like to hear!?! Do you find it fun or entertaining to be rude and judgmental of her!?! That was unnecessary and uncalled for. God made us all the way we are and if you can’t except that than that’s your problem not hers. Just stop!!!
I like how you can just see a random hand through the window at 3:50 XD
is it waving through the window?
can anybody see?
is anybody waving back at it?
This is how it's like being Mormon.
Sort of.
I'm mormon. This is so funny.
Studio C I love you guys so much! You bring so much joy to me and my family. 💕 from Illinois.
Edit: Please love this Studio C!!
Yet Another Edit: Thanks for the likes guys!!

Members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints misunderstandings
@Jim Caponzi that was very offensive to many people including me. You don't say discriminatory things to someone even if their Mormon/church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Muslim, Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist etc.... I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I and every member of my church believe in Christ. Are first article of faith is We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. So any other comments?
@@玉布莱克利 lol just ignore him. He must be from the south of USA. Most of them are die hard religious nuts.
Isiah Arellano now you’re basically doing the same thing that you’re accusing him of, just to a lesser degree.
@JimCaponzi
That was extremely offensive and discriminating. First off, the name of our church is and forever will be The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You can say otherwise but you won't change anything. I don't really care if you think our religion is wrong but you don't have say rude things like that.
Omg no ima still call them Mormon
Anyone notice the people in the window
Aiden Cole yes
Yes
3:20 and on.....was trying not to laugh since I was supposed to be doing homework. This is EXACTLY what happens when I talk about my religion in theatre. Thank you for this amazing and hilarious sketch!! :)
“Her soul will be split into seven parts and scattered across hogwarts guys!”
She’s mormanort!
Ngl, until 7th grade I had never heard of mormons.
What?
haha
holy cow that is strange to my own two ears
How
That's okay. I have a coworker who legit thought that Mormons only live in Utah and Idaho
Toatally off topic, who else LOVED Mallorys dres!?
Edit: *Dress
ME! I want to know where they had gotten it, but we never will tears!
Why did u put in an edit when you could have just corrected your mistake
my friends are Mormon and i dont care i love them for who they are.💙
caca fam well because of that the bible says you're a partaker of their evil deeds
That is what true friendship is 😃❤️
RamDaRealist what the heck. Shouldn’t it say love everyone no matter what. Calling someone evil because of beliefs is just wrong kid. I’m Mormon so I find that offending.
Breanna Hancock it’s fine. Mormons aren’t evil because of beliefs. Calling so,Rome evil because of beliefs is just wrong
RamDaRealist btw, there’s something wrong with that if it says you’re a par taker of their evil deeds because of their beliefs. Jesus taught everyone to love one another NO MATTER WHAT so that can’t be what your bible says
Is everyone in studio c mormon?!! Cause if so I'm so happy!
Kiwanuka Sullivan Yeah! They all went to BYU which is a Mormon school.
Kiwanuka Sullivan yes all studio c are Mormon, but not everyone that goes to BYU is Mormon, it's just another Uni in Utah, but the majority is Mormon because well, it's in Utah
Yes! Im so happy! I found out like two years ago! Im mormon too! The all went to byu, and they had an LDS face to face on lds youth, where they talked about their beliefs!
Same. I watched the Face to Face like 3 times. And love it every time.
Ailsa M It's actually a private university owned and run by the LDS church. That's why it's majority Mormons who go there.
Minorities go thru this every day. U wouldn’t believe how stupid ppl can be
Apparently I'm considered a minority in Canada (I'm Sikh) and I've been asked some pretty weird questions. Once someone asked if my mom had ever hit me with a broom, which to me sounds kinda personal. And no, she's only ever slapped me once and trust me I deserved it.
M M lmaoooo
M M I’m Hindu
I'm mormon too!I found it so funny because this happens all the time!😂😂😘🤣😃😁
O.o people think that is they take your picture you will die, have your soul split into 7 horcruxes, or live forever while the picture ages?
Ah, the only time I was treated somewhat like this was with one of my friends who would apologize for swearing near me.
Very kind person, but it would be nice if she felt comfortable enough to not feel the need to apologize
this is my life when I tell people im Mormon
Jim Caponzi you are an insane lunatic that needs to be institutionalized
@Jim Caponzi Dude. Take a deep breath. Mabye a cold, calming glass of water and breathe in and out. Inhale and exhale. We are all human beings and we all have our faults, but let's not hate eachother, okay?
@Jim Caponzi uh, hating is hating. No matter who is it you hate.
@Jim Caponzi I hope you have a good day, but please don't call us evil. It's rude. It's great that you have a family, I wish them good health.
Please do a ABC Once Upon a time sketch
Miranda 3695 , I would give anything for that!
Miranda 3695 Yessss!!!!! Totally!!!!!
Jacqueline Zanders It would be priceless!!!! 😂😂😂😂
Miranda 3695 I love that show, that would be a good idea!

This is one of the BEST Studio C's by FAR! I watch this on a daily bases!
I thought you were a Mormon...
Actually I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints
@Jim Caponzi chill out dude, your free to hold whatever views you like. But I think both religions teach to love one another and no one's going to change they're mind after being yelled at online
Jim Caponzi man you sound like a broken record player and I DARE YOU to sue the church. You gave enough evidence in all these youtube comments to be institutionalized. I also snapshotted them as well so you cant lie your way out of being counter-sued either
@@juliadietrich3584 Thanks for the history lesson about the French!! Never knew they did that; I only heard about the Spanish and what they did
@Jim Caponzi Listen.
I am Catholic, but I don't think there is a problem with them expressing their religious belief. I am glad they are so open about their beliefs.
Awesome skit! When will season 8 air on TV? I just can't wait! Skit ideas: (1) A group of burglars (Natalie, Matt, and Jeremy) are about to break into a house when there is a sudden spotlight on them. They are unexpectedly on a live reality tv show called "Spotlight" with Stacey as the host! (2) Worst Criminal Ever! The criminal (Adam) waits for an uber to arrive immediately after committing the crime; buys an bank account at the same bank he just robbed, tries to get a fully-uniformed cop to buy his stops products, and so on.
That's pretty funny, but you need to elaborate more. When you have pitch it to Jason on his channel.
Not Mormon here, but I am a member of a commonly misunderstood minority religion and can seriously relate to this sooooooo much.
its...its true 3:25
Is that Mallory in the purple add
Gene Garcia I think so
I love that they make fun of their own religion! It's really great that they aren't above laughing at themselves.
As an LDS, I found this funny. Now I'm gonna go back to watching clips about Goshzilla vs. Kong
