She is has had more than her fair share of knocks in life. Mary is a talented and strong lady. I’m from the USA . I came across her Christmas Special, it was inspiring. Miss Mary you are a delight. Thank you.
Cooking not Cookery, it’s really not a word, so, it doesn’t make sense, when, you comment, hear’s a good tip they taught us in school, make it make sense!
It's hard for people with disabled children to understand what life was like for hospitalized children before the 1980s, when doctors suddenly realized that being deprived of the emotional support of parents is actually harmful to children, both medically and psychologically. Parents now would never tolerate being told that they can't see their children for weeks and months at a time but, that was reality for those of us who grew up in the medical system until relatively recently. Also, it was standard medical practice well into the 1980s to deny children pain relief. Medical trauma causes long-term chronic illness in many forms that are just now being recognized by the medical industry. So, for many of us "trust your doctor" is a punchline.
Well, it was still in the 90s to the early 2000s but, it’s not so, much about generations, it’s about the way people see things and, more of necessarily about how people believe and, how they are raised and, how they themselves then, chose to perceive the information that is presented to them in the end. But, yes, I agree more generations are more accepting of things overall! I have had family from both side of where my dad’s side of the family would be more comfortable in accepting who you are no matter what, yet, my mom side had family with mental issues and struggles and, yet, they weren’t very accepting of things like that, they would want you to hide under a rock, kind of as they are embarrassed and, ashamed and, when, your having a rough patch they would literally think there was no sense of getting treated, just deal with your issues silently!
