Fire Helicopter & Dozer Responding to a 2nd Alarm Vegetation & Structure Fire in Rio Linda CA

At around 3:54PM September 27th, 2021, the Sacramento Metro Fire District and Sacramento Fire Department responded to a multi-alarm vegetation and structure fire at 28th Street and U Street in Rio Linda. Multiple outbuildings and a barn were destroyed along with at least 1/4 acre of vegetation scorched. Luckily firefighters were successful at protecting a 2 story residential structure under construction. No injuries have been reported and the fire is currently contained.

Great response and not saying it’s overkill but better overkill than not enough great job maybe these guys need to be in-charge of all California wildfires deployment of resources and no political idiots in charge of them and no oversight they should have what ever it is they need to do the job hell take it out of the governors pocket and that electric co pocket give these heroes everything they need and a gold star and a raise
