I've bought one on your recommendation for piece of mind when driving my 50yr old escort. First time I've ever bought something recommended by RUclips. Please don't let me down 😂
I had a bad experience last year with a cheap jump starter. It exploded while using. Fortunately no one get hurt but I damaged a part of the paint in engine compartment. Therefore, be careful with such devices.

Going by the 4 weeks I've tested and prob over 50 jump starts it's doing great. Please comment again with how you find it.
Looks a useful piece of kit.

Amazing! - i can remember when chargers were the size of a suitcase!!
Yeah I was doubtful of it's capability but I was blown away.

Sorry to hear
Order placed. Would have been handy to hear the engine tried on the dead(ish) battery before hooking up the jump starter.
Not that we disbelieve you.
the gtv battery was dead and wouldn't take any charge.
Do you still have/use the capacitive jump starter you reviewed 3 yrs ago?
I do but I think it's started to fail as it doesn't like big diesel engine cars anymore.
Thanks @ItaliaAutos that's good to know. I'd thought it wouldn't degrade like that since it doesn't have batteries.
Not tried it again in a few months. Maybe that's an idea for a video. See what shuff I've tested that I'm still using.
