La tranquillità e la grandissima classe! Incantevole!
Superb, consummate musicianship. Grumiaux wields the lightest bow on earth. Wonderful control and rapport between the two. It doesn’t get better than this.
Divine Beethoven, Great Arrau, SUBLIME Grumiaux (what an elegance !) !!! It seems that these wonderful sonatas were composed for Grumiaux !!! Thanks for the upload !!!
Perfectly splendid in every regard. Grumiaux has always struck me as "The Best" among the great violinists. Wonderful sound, perfect intonation, perfect articulation, unfailing gracefulness, elegance, graciousness and heartfelt expressive nuances in each phrase. This is some of the very best playing I've heard from Mr. Arrau, who as a soloist could seem ponderous and heavy-handed at times. The ensemble here is as close to perfection as one could ever hope to hear. Marvelous teamwork on display in these recordings of the Beethoven piano-violin cycle.
I agree !
I agree with you completely !!!! Grumiaux was Sublime, and you described his magic perfectly. Congrats !
Arrau was a truly great one (and much better known than Grumiaux. Please note that I really LIKE Arrau)). But, IMHO here it's all too clear that SUBLIME Grumiaux is the one who LEADS - unfailing taste and elegance, besides everything ! Nevertheless, a wonderful teamwork by two really great ones
thank you
Sublime !!!!
