Whataboutisms don't work here or anywhere. If she was high on weed and murdered her boyfriend, she should have gone to jail. I am wondering if the weed was laced with something as well...but that case has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with THIS case. Period. If you kill someone, or in this case, 4 people, go straight to jail, do not pass go. If you murder someone, you clearly have a predisposed inclination to kill someone. Killing a federal postman is a capital offense, punishable by the death penalty.

There was a woman recently who just got probation for using that same defense. I was addicted to drugs for 10 years of my life, did just about everything possible someone in the us can get their hands on so idc what no one says, no drugs can make someone do that without them already being a danger prior to the drug use.

No crime has ever been committed by a citizen, with their legally owned automatic weapon. (You can still own them but you go through a more stringent background check and the cost for them is around $30,000+)

Marijuana just by itself can cause paranoia in some people during the short term, and permanently with long term usage, even if you stop using.
Smoking marijuana definitely made me extremely spooked and paranoid the first few times I tried it, back when I was around this guy's age. So smoking laced marijuana with a low tolerance, not knowing what it is could be genuinely deadly. Still no update on the toxicology screening though
