Hey there! 9 years later and this is still so very cute and informative! I will be doing my twist this weekend and you have me very excited!! 😊😊😊😊 ❤❤❤❤
OMG I love your version for the invisible root method! It makes so much more sense to me than the traditional way I've seen on YT. I just could NOT get that down for the life of me. This way seems so much easier. Beautiful results Ms. Lady!
Neka Wright I totally agree. The previous video I watched seemed like magic, the only thing missing was the 'abracadabra'. I will try this on my daughter, my hands may fall off if I did on myself.
Your tutorial is amazing and OMG I have been looking for this hair EVERYWHERE! Especially in the ombré shades! I was seconds away from ordering it from AliExpress but I've heard too many horror stories with that. I just ordered the OT27 and will let you know how it turns out. Thank you so much! :*
I love this style on you. I'm going to Mexico next month and this is the look I'm going for. I will be moisturizing it before it's installed to make it softer. Thanks for the great video😌
THE CUBAN HAIR LOOKS VERY NICE ON YOU. YOU DID A GREAT JOB! IT ALL LOOKS VERY NATURAL. THE HAIR CURLED REALLY NICE. EXCELLENT DEMONSTRATION! HOW LONG DID THIS PROCESS LAST? BE BLESSED
this is my favorite hair !! this hair is just like our natural hair to me , to the feel of it, when it is is to dry, but that hair isn't real so it is a little dryer to the feel, so very close but not the same ! It's wave pattern is much like ours can be
Omg this is such a great way to start the twist without braiding the beginning of the hair...I could never twist it in but I can't wait to try this....thank u so much
This is so beautiful on you and that brown with hints of honey around the ends is off the chain on you. That type of brown with the lighter brown on the ends really complements you a lot! I love it this style on you, it softens you, especially when you where browns like that. Why don't you where more of those colors? girl you just love your mauves and purples don't you, hahaha! all and all this tutorial was the bomb, it was fun. Thanks for sharing sweetheart. God Bless you. Yakisha Scales.
Looks so beautiful! I'm trying to understand the technique. Did you start by braiding or twisting your hair with one side of the extension then adding the rest? Hope that made sense lol
Omg I have watched about three of your vids because I want to learn how to do different natural hairstyles and I have to day you are so beautiful! No homo! Lol
looks awesome!!! hour long did you keep it in? what is your daily moisturization process once the style is in? which creamy moisturizer did you use during the install?
@TheBrilliantBeauty This looks great! one question please. when you split the hair, do you drape them over each other in a cross before you put it on the hair?
I really want to try this style. But it might not look as good as yours lol. When you started, did you part your hair in big sections first, or did you just part your hair from the nape and work your way to the front?
You were able to move your twists around were you not sore? I just got mine and it normally takes me a few days to be able to comfortably move them around
This is a brilliant video. I'm in the mirror for the first time trying to install some twist in. I only use 1 strand because I don't like mine too chunky. The problem is the unraveling. Almost towards the end of The Twist they look like I permed rod it and dipped it in water. They look wavy. They are not unraveling too much but they have this curly or wavy look and I just want them to be straight. What am I doing wrong?
I just attempted Havana twists with the same exact hair, treated with an apple cider vinegar rinse...and the twists turned out SO dry and itchy, so I took them out after the 3rd one. Did you use anything to get them shiny?
Tam Tam try washing it with shampoo and silicon mix conditioner or a good conditioner as well after the acv. I then add shea butter to the hair before installing and it will soften the hair a lot and will blend well.
Hi I wanted to know if someone is allergic to the synthetic residue that's on synthetic hair do you think you need to rinse this hair in vinegar and water before applying it? I've had the expressions brands for braiding hair and that has a lot of chemicals on it so I had to rinse it before applying it in my head because I'm severely allergic to it
Hey there! 9 years later and this is still so very cute and informative! I will be doing my twist this weekend and you have me very excited!! 😊😊😊😊 ❤❤❤❤
I'm trying tonight and will do the rubber band method and put beads on the end so I'm excited!!
I'm doing that also with rubber bands ❤ love this style
Thanks for the video the way you twisted the hair around the twist makes it so much tighter and helps the twist stay better
OMG I love your version for the invisible root method! It makes so much more sense to me than the traditional way I've seen on YT. I just could NOT get that down for the life of me. This way seems so much easier. Beautiful results Ms. Lady!
LOL I had trouble at first too!
Neka Wright I totally agree. The previous video I watched seemed like magic, the only thing missing was the 'abracadabra'. I will try this on my daughter, my hands may fall off if I did on myself.
Yea me too!
I agree!!!
Your visual instructions were perfect!!! Love the T30 color on you. I just purchased the OT30, cant wait to install!! Thank you for sharing doll!!!
hi did you do it yourself? How many packs you use?
Your hair looks so pretty. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing. Now I'm going to try to do my own.
I love your technique on twisting your hair with the other hair. Will be trying this the next time I do twist
Just watched your initial video and now just turned this on. That style is fierce!!
I tried today. My hair looks gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. I know I'm 4 years later.
I'm late too.. U aren't alone.
Me too...just bought the hair yesterday
I love this style on you. I'm going to Mexico next month and this is the look I'm going for. I will be moisturizing it before it's installed to make it softer. Thanks for the great video😌
Alicia Stamps ... how did this style hold up in Mexico and the beach? Heading there soon and I’m wanting this style!
it’s crazy that this was 5 years ago! I’ve been watching you since I was 12/13 you’ve inspired me to do so many styles
Question: what type of moisturizer did you use on the hair while twisting it?
THE CUBAN HAIR LOOKS VERY NICE ON YOU. YOU DID A GREAT JOB! IT ALL LOOKS VERY NATURAL. THE HAIR CURLED REALLY NICE. EXCELLENT DEMONSTRATION! HOW LONG DID THIS PROCESS LAST? BE BLESSED
Love it!! And I love your twisting technique , it looks way easier for me.
Thank you! Yes it is :)
this is my favorite hair !! this hair is just like our natural hair to me , to the feel of it, when it is is to dry, but that hair isn't real so it is a little dryer to the feel, so very close but not the same ! It's wave pattern is much like ours can be

I literally want to do every single style you post. Going out to get this hair when I get off of work.
I watched this like 5 years ago and back looking at it again.
I just did this same exact style and color with the Cuban twist and the hair is awesome for Havana twists
What color number is this? Cuz am about to place order but needed some help on this exact color. Need ur help pls
+Angel Jlb she said t30 in the video.
it looks really nice. does it come off easy when you take them down?
the best tutorial i have seen. very neat and very beautiful.
Beautiful!!! Is it heavy on your head? Which is better, this Cuban hair or Marley?
I like the way you did it, it looks good on you! Is it heavy?
As far as twisting...which hair twists better Cuban or Marley?
Your hair is beautiful.. Awesome job.
Yasss. Finally. Lol I've been waiting for this video for some time now. Im sooo interested in it.
Yay thank you dear!
The best I've seen yet. Hope I can pull that off.
Love your video going to install this in my daughters hair... What moisturizer did you use? Or which one would be best to use with this hair?
Joylene Adams I used my usual moisturizer for my natural hair, any butter or cream is great
This is so beautiful on you and that brown with hints of honey around the ends is off the chain on you. That type of brown with the lighter brown on the ends really complements you a lot! This has become my favorite hair. How many times did you split the strand? Very pretty!
Looks so beautiful! I'm trying to understand the technique. Did you start by braiding or twisting your hair with one side of the extension then adding the rest? Hope that made sense lol
MVlovebug I twisted one side of my hair into one side of the extensions, and the other part into the other.
Omg I have watched about three of your vids because I want to learn how to do different natural hairstyles and I have to day you are so beautiful! No homo! Lol
looks beautiful thank you for sharing. how long did it take you?
looks awesome!!! hour long did you keep it in? what is your daily moisturization process once the style is in? which creamy moisturizer did you use during the install?
@TheBrilliantBeauty This looks great! one question please. when you split the hair, do you drape them over each other in a cross before you put it on the hair?
Beautiful!! Did you use 1 whole strand or just half of a strand of the Cuban twist hair?
its really beautiful. can the hair be reused after?
Yes! I forgot to mention that... I still have it
Hi, so i tried the cuban twist braid found them to be quite coarse ,yet light weight.
I really want to try this style. But it might not look as good as yours lol. When you started, did you part your hair in big sections first, or did you just part your hair from the nape and work your way to the front?
LadyOfLight67 I started from the nape, but towards the front I did sections to make it lay the way I wanted it to
you did a great job! i was wondering how did you do the back.
Hello Beautiful,
How did you part your hair? Did you just do small sections, or part off small squares?
I love this hairstyle and you did such a good job with them! How long did it take you to install the twist?
It took about 4.5-5 hrs
yes you don't need to stretch your hair because the hair coils together better with our hair
Girl you know u can do some hair, love this!
Thank you hun! :)
They turned out really nice👌
Very nice! Did you use a brick parting method?
So glad i came across this video. Thank you so much. Beautiful!
This is so well done! How many packs did u use?
question : if you had to choose between this or marley hair, as far as heaviness is concerned which did you like better?
Chenelle Massey this is def. thicker and heavier.
Its $5 at the local beauty supply store!
Your hair looks great!
are you braiding the hair in to start it off then twist it?
Thanks for sharing from your new subscriber 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Best tutorial yet!
I need to learn how to do this myself. Awesome video, thanks for sharing, You're so pretty btw
Love it!! I think that will be my next look! You're beautiful!!
Thank you so much! They're easy!
Hii. Whats the width of the flexi rods you used? Does it matter what it is in order to achieve those curls at the end? I have 1/2in thick flexi rods?
It’s finally my time!! Hallelujah
Can you straighten the hair after it was curled?
may I ask do such form of braiding cause any damages? thanks for sharing.
Beautiful!!
How many pack did you use for this style?
This hair is gorgeous
awesome.... how many stands did you use for each twist? 1? or did u split each stand for every twist?
Good question! In the front I split them, but in the back I used a whole piece b/c it's very thick.
thanks! :-)
I just bought 4 bags and twist it. I'm going to crochet it in my question is, will 4 bags be enough for my head? Or do I need to buy 2 more?
What you use in the hair very coast look lovely on you
Looks beautiful!
Thank you :)
Your hair looking Beautiful.
will this twisting method you use work with afro puffy hair? that is what I have available? thanks
also did you comb the hair out first and did you put any product on the cuban hair to control frizzies?
Christel Williams I used a creamy moisturizer as I twisted, which helped a lot w/ frizzing combined w/ the hot water on the ends
Gorgeous!
I love your hair omg 😲 so pretty
wahhh! you are so pretty !
Your hair came out beautiful. Thanks for the tutorial! New subbie here 🙋
Thank you dear! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Great review. ..is it heavy?
Malaya Brasley Not at all, even though I thought it would be
Ok great...you have me sold on this hair.. thanks!
You were able to move your twists around were you not sore? I just got mine and it normally takes me a few days to be able to comfortably move them around
Which color lip stick is that? Its awesome!
Does anyone know?
Really gorgeous
Thank you :)

Am I twisting too tight?
Girl you are so beautiful and thank you for the tutorial. Stay bless 😘
when your twisting the hair do you make each twist as tight as possible or loose twist?
Christel Williams I make the twists as tight as possible without them hurting my scalp
This is so pretty!!!
thank you for the video(now i know how to start the twists lol) ..... love this style on you by the way :)
can I steam my braids more than once?to get diffrent curls?
Did you spit the braiding hair in the back as well or just the front?
Hey Beautiful just wondering how long did this last for you ...
+Natasha Solomon I wore for 2-3 weeks, but lasts 6-8 weeks with maintenance around the hairline
I don't like twisting the hair at. The base too difficult. Can u show another method??
Love this look!
How many twists did you end up with total if you can remember?
You're hair is Everything! !!!! Did you use the 12 or the 16 inch?
16 inch

Hi I wanted to know if someone is allergic to the synthetic residue that's on synthetic hair do you think you need to rinse this hair in vinegar and water before applying it? I've had the expressions brands for braiding hair and that has a lot of chemicals on it so I had to rinse it before applying it in my head because I'm severely allergic to it
It's kanekalon hair, so you should just in case.
I am terrible allergic. Because of this, I soak in apple cider vinegar for 30min to an hour then shampoo and condition all synthetic hair I use.
Thanks alot will be doing this next week
Omg... I Love Your Videos...!
GiGi FijiWater Thank you Gigi!
Did you dip them in hot water, and did you reuse it, if you took them out already?
GorgBrownEyes I dipped the ends in hot water. Yes, I took them out and plan on putting them right back in LOL
You did an amazing job
Annie Pooh Thanks boo!
Your hair looks nice
