This has been my go to style for a while. It's quick, easy, cheap and I can do them myself. To spice it up from time to time I make them longer and then after wearing them I turn them into faux locs by wrapping them with the same hair. Plus I'm basic. 😆
I love it! It’s so cute, yes it does take trial & error but once you get it, you’ll be so happy.🥰 Just some helpful tips: I prefer mine to be “layered” but not too perfect if that makes sense because if you make a mistake it’s easy to cover up 😅 I fold the hair & adjust the hair to where I want it to fall so they come out around the “same length” I use the twist as an addition to my habit, so it will be 3 strands. I braid the root 5 to 6 times down, split & twist. Takes less time. When I trim my hair I do it at a diagonal & not a blunt cut unless, that’s the look you are going for. Because twist unravels very easily & the tapered ends are what you want to help keep them from unraveling. & I also like the way the ends look. & I always dip my synthetic hairstyles in hot water. It locks everything in. be careful)☺️ *if you need visuals I’m sure someone out there has a video 😂
Thank you for the amazing tips!! I nearly dipped the ends, but they stayed lol! I love the cutting technique. I didn’t think to braid the roots. I hate braiding 😂
@@LaToyaEbonyHair You’re welcome. I don’t like braiding either but by the time you realize it’s a braid you are already twisting. it does speeds the process up for me because the 2 twisting methods take longer for me because the hair doesn’t stay 😅😩🙄
Braiding then turning it into a 3 strand twist sounds promising. A natural progression. I'll give that a try now that I've finally figured out how to 3 strand twist
@@Iwasonceanonionwithnolayers yes sometimes I just braid a few times to secure & it is so much easier, secure, natural & it looks “cleaner” at the roots. ☺️
I love it! It also looks like my twisted hair. This would probably last longer and be good for vacation. Humm this might be my Labor Day hair. Thanks for sharing
This video is super timely. I have a lot of outre spring twist 16in hair lying around and wasnt sure what to do with it. You could always add some jewels to your hair or beads to give it some perzaz
YES YES YES!!! OK, I'ma try this, but I've literally NEVER had braids or anything in my head before. So: 1. Do you treat the hair before you install it? 2. Do the ends just stay together like mine when I twist it? 3. Is there anything special to do to maintain? I'm soooo looking forward to your journey with these twists! And see, I would DEFINITELY stop and be like "OMG THOSE ARE THE JUICIEST TWISTS I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!!!"
Haha thank you!! 1. Yes. I did a steam treatment. Watch my previous video. 2. Yes the ends stay just like your real hair. 3. To maintain I just spray it with a leave in conditioner. I’ve washed them as well. They stay in. Hope this helps! ❤️

That’s a great idea! Wrapping them for the faux loc look. Love it! 🙌🏾
Have you tried swimming in this style? Did it hold up?
@@Just_Jelle I have not. If I do I'll update.
I love that Faye in the City is supporting your merch! 🥰🥰
Yeeesssss! She’s the sweetest!!
This does indeed look very natural! When I first glanced at the video, I was thinking “Wow! My sister’s hair is really growing out!” 🥰❤️😘
Hehe! It’s a really great style

It’s a fantastic style!! 👏🏾👏🏾
Very pretty!!😍
Alas my hair is not built for the added hair life. Trying to nurse the little edges I have left.😅
I don’t blame you! I was nervous but these are sooooo light. My hair was able to withstand quite well.
Add hair jewelry! This gives natural beauty baby!! Love this look
That’s a good idea!!
Love it, you can jazz it up by giving yourself a deep side part and add hair jewelry. Either way I love that fact that it looks like your hair!!
Yes!! That’s a great idea
Absolutely !!! 💯❤
How many packs did you use?
I'm definitely going to give this a try 🤞🏾🤞🏾. I can't braid, so this looks perfect.

I love it 😍 it looks real.
It definitely does! Thank you. I’m keeping this one in my arsenal
The look is gorgeous!
Thank you Lorriet!!
Can't wait to see how you styled them!
I just bought the same hair today. I’ll be twisting my hair this weekend 🙂
I will be crocheting mine instead of twisting it on my hair for the first time.
Ooooo fancy!!! The hair works so well with my hair texture. I hope you like it too!
This style is very cute!
I love it I will definitely try this style because I wear twists for protective style so this would be perfect 😍💕
Been thinking of this hairstyle!! Seems so lightweight!
It’s incredibly lightweight!!
Very cute style on you. How do the ends keep from unraveling?
They honestly just stayed. Kind of like my real hair.
Need to try this. Thanks for sharing! 😊
You’re welcome!! ❤️
How many packs of hair did you use to get this gorgeous hairstyle?
I believe it took 3 1/2
@@LaToyaEbonyHair thank you
How many packs did you use .. looks beautiful 🥰
Three to four packs

I can’t remember. About 3 I think

Beautiful!
Thank you Mika!!!
Finally...❤️❤️
Last week was rough 😵💫
Love it!
Thank you!!
How many packs did you use?
Darn I lost count. About 3 or 4 I believe.
I tried a similar style but I used a latch hook.
I’ve tried that with hair that slides too much. If you can get hair that doesn’t slide, this technique is a little faster.
@@LaToyaEbonyHair I gotta try that next time.
Hey love!!
Heeeey ❤️❤️
It looks great....more drama if they were 30 inches vs. 16.......👍💖

Yeah! Next time 😌
Love it ❤️
Thank you, love. 💚
Please do an update!!! 😲
