Tom I hope you can answer this for me. I’m thinking of using my MAP edge short top kit with a 15 dura slip elastic for shalla fishing for carp (10lb) if I’m lucky, other club members are telling me I’ll never get them in on this set up what your experience with carp to 10lb on short top kits. What about shotting. do you bulk shot near float or hook length, or spaced out?

He generally uses a bulk just above the hooklink loop.

That's the thing mate, probably 6-8 pints on average...costs you a fortune.
