I don't know if you will remember this song, but, it was released about the same time as "Lovin Is Really My Game." It took me years to remember the name. "Freedom To Express Yourself." By Denise LaSalle. 1976. You may not remember it until you hear it. It is on RUclips. Enjoy. Brother James Kendall Moore OSB OFS OSC ✝️
Of all the classic disco songs this one track here in particular brings back the greatest of memories especially when you're on qualudes and tequila dancing besides a blasting 4 foot speaker...
This song yes this song is the BEST disco song ever nothing compares to it .....the beat the strings EXCELLENT and Miss Woods what can you say her voice was made for this song I can hear this EVERYDAY
You needed a lot of stamina to keep on dancin' to this classic when it landed on the disco dance floors back in '77. It was so much fun then. It still is now even though those discos sadly are long gone.
I still listen to every track on Brainstorm's albums. I am always uplifted by the music, vocals and lyrics. Great feeling!!! Thankful for what they shared with the world.
Heard this first at a Morecambe Alldayer , England 1977/78. Remember seeing a girl dancing at 100 mph - her feet moving with sheer perfection. Bought it on U.K. 12 inch Miracle on Red Vinyl. A top sound ✊🏿 👍 Love it Modern Detroit at its best !
Thank you for this version, I can say "DISCO" was in full swing during the 70's--(early) 80's. A time to be at ease, young, and a witness to "BRAINSTORM". A perfect metaphor for the times back in the day. This group, in my opinion, exuded sheer brilliance and creativity.
I fell absolutely head over heals in love with this song the first time I heard it. It was the summer of 1998, I was 14 years old, and I was just discovering that I had a true passion and love for disco music. The movie 54 had just came out in theaters, so I begged my mom to take me to see it, which she did. That's where I heard Lovin' Is Really My Game for the first time. 24 years later, and it is still my absolute favorite disco song of all time, and it always will be! 😁
COOL DETROUT RADIO 1977 ! MY RADIO ALWAYS ON SINCE I WAS 6 YRS OLD. MY DADDY MADE SURE MY LITTLE SISTER ANDI HAD AM HANDHELD RADIOS IN OUR GAMES ! HOLLER ! THERE'S SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT RADIO LISTENERS. I HAVE HAD SO MUCH FUN IN SAN ANTONIO WITH THE DJS AND LISTENERS ON RADIO. I TAKE THE LISTENERS' OPINION ABOUT WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR VERY SERIOUSLY. ONCE I WALKED WITH AN ELDERLY GENTLEMAN INTO HIS DOCTOR'S OFFICE AS HE WAS TELLING ME ABOUT THE HORNS SOUND AND DRUM BEAT ( AFRICAN ) he wanted to hear in his music on the radio. HOLLER ! DON'T STOP THE MUSIC !
Un son des plus extraordinaire ! Un mélange de tout ce que j'aime, disco/funk/basse/groove/ ... cette musique me fait littéralement péter un plomb 🤯🤌🏻🔥
Love your fantastic remix of Sylvester's 'LIRMG'. IDK he passed Dec 19 '88. It isn't just your amazing talent & love of music that impresses me, you truly cherish the human soul & honor the depths of these artists. What a blessing u r 2 us all, esp us near defunct, real DJ's who still transition songs, as taught to us by roller rink DJ queens/kings of yesteryear.
Son extraordinarios grandes entre los grandes velita Woods manifica preciosa voz me encantan yo baile su música gracias por haber existido y dejarnos está preciosidad
Yassssss, Lovin really is! Whenever I hear this song now, it reminds me of a two-season TV series on Logo that became a movie but this is the real Mccoy and still makes you want to get up and get moving! Lovin this specialty version to the max! Kudos Mr. DJ, once again you've done it up properly!
This original popped into my head just the other day. Knew this remix was on deck, as i am psychically linked as a kick ass DJ to the feline furor, DJDISCOCAT. Can always feel the upload vibe. I first heard Maryann Tatum's cover of 'LIRMG' on Noah's Ark. Fell in love w/ beautiful bro SYLVESTER'S rendition. All versions are BAD ASS! 💜💖💜💖💜
Dancing 💃🏻 around dinning table, planning my Christmas dinner 🍽 I have just started thinking about it.the best ideas come often after you’ve heard good music 🎶 What a wonderful song! And love is such a wonderful thing 💝 of course after Christmas time 🎄😃 Marry Christmas everyone 💫🕊
