I felt the same exact way about the cleanser, and it just so happened that they had sent me a survey asking me how i liked it (since it was my first ever order from them) and I replied that i thought it was meh, nothing to write home about. They emailed me back saying theyre sorry I was so disappointed, and that they were going to refund me?????????? Even though I didnt dislike it, i just didnt like it. Can you imagine?? A company that cares about their customers? In THIS economy? So yeah they could be selling literal dog shit and I would still praise them because thats some A1 real extra customer service. thanks for listening to my ted talk
their customer service is bomb! i've gotten free products just bc i left nice notes on the surveys, totally out of honest praise, not even trying to get free product.
Yes! I left a review saying that I liked their SPF, but I found the price high for the amount and that it should be waterproof. Two or three days later they refunded my card. Then I left a glowing review for the stretch concealer and they sent me a complimentary concealer. They really put their money where their mouth is! Very rare for beauty company.
I emailed them when I got my glossier order because I was so blown away with their products. I mentioned I bought it for myself as a present when I finished nursing school. They emailed me back and thanked me and added a $10 credit as a gift from them for finishing school! I will forever love them.
They're great, I accidentally ordered a wrong shade of their lipstick and I asked them if it's possible to exchange if not opened yet and they just sent me the shade I wanted, no questions asked.
I was on their site yesterday contemplating buying the skin tint and this is the EXACT thing I thought too. I was like, "ok, so this stuff is great for achieving that 'no makeup' look if you're already someone who doesn't actually need to wear makeup. great."
I think everyone is naturally beautiful when they take care of themselves. The love you have for yourself always shines through. :) I had cystic acne all over my face and body as a kid and a teenager. I used to wear makeup every day to cover up because I thought that i had to do it to be normal. As I've gotten older, I've come to learn that "flaws" are normal. Everyone has them. The people who are the most outwardly critical of flaws have the biggest flaws themselves. So love yourself and you will create beauty. ♡

I don't think Glossier is ahead of it's time, I think they are one of the companies leading the movement of a very natural, healthy looking, super quick, minimalist makeup look. I feel like most people are so over the caked up, almost drag like looks presented on YT and Instagram, with the odd few left trying to still make it a thing. Healthy, natural looking skin will always be current, it's just that with their marketing and packaging they have made it cool again for the young crowd.
Liga Klavina I agree. I normally wear a full face, and by the end of the day I am looking so so so cakey. It also takes me a while to put on, and I’m over it. I just ordered some Glossier stuff to try out and I’m hoping it looks like nothing, if that makes any sense haha

Honestly, as someone who works in the theatre business, heavier makeup is useful depending on the character we play. However, pretty much no one I’ve worked with wears the “cake-face” outside of the stage specifically because of that 🤔🤔🤔

It was so honest too, I loved that. I hate when you realize that a youtuber is sponsored by the brand or want to act like all products are amazing miracles. This was such a helpful video!
Am sorry, I'm English, & you should come see us, if you want some "dry humour" - this is, well, not that - then again, I don't usually watch beauty bloggers so this might be more like it than most - but not noticeably sorry.. So funny though, (am not criticising, I promise🤭💜🙏💜)
I've always thought Glossier was for people who hate makeup - yes those people do exist. I myself hate full-coverage, dry, matte makeup. But yeah, this is the sort of makeup for people who don't want to look made up, which is definitely nice.
Glossier is perfect for me. Every beauty guru I've seen review it has given it a negative review. Why? Because they live a lifestyle where they can spend tons of time doing makeup and they want full coverage. I'm a surgical student and when I'm in class or doing clinicals.. full coverage makeup doesn't do it for me. I don't have time for it, it gives me a bad image in my field, and it is unsanitary and messed up in less than an hour by goggles and masks. Some people do work and do have things that they need to do where they don't have time for full glam or maybe they just don't like a full face. Even on weekends, I don't like a full face of makeup because it ages me. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.. but I wish at least one RUclipsr would give it the benefit of the doubt and stop saying me me me and think about their audience instead. Most of us... don't do RUclips for a living. If somebody can point me the right direction, let me know.
Watch Jamie Paige. She's the one RUclipsr that I know that wears natural makeup. And I'm in the same boat. Too focused on being a student to cake makeup on my face all of the time.
I completely agree with you I’m a final year dentistry student and when I’m doing patients at the clinic having a full face of makeup just looks unprofessional and you’re just asking for not to be taken seriously as a dentist/doctor.you need to look put together but not overly done and I obviously do not have the time nor the desire to do full makeup in the morning and streaked off makeup after changing surgical masks throughout the day is not a good look
Aqsa X33 Yes, there is a stigma in the health science field that a full face of makeup means that you care more about your appearance or you are trying too hard. While that's not always the case, I completely understand and it is really impractical. I've never been a "full glam" person, but it wouldn't last a second of my shift anyways! It can also be a sanitary hazard in any sort of surgical setting if you're not careful. Good luck with your last year and happy holidays!
I really appreciate this review! But the one thing I disagree with is that "Glossier was made by really pretty people for really pretty people." I think they just deeply believe that everyone's natural beauty should shine through and that you don't need to cake it on to be beautiful :)
Lisa Kirchkuchen says who? there skin tints are not full coverage it just evens out skin and they are not focused an lighter skins the 5 shades are focused to everyone and it will adapt to your skin if it is a little off
I’ll be totally honest and say that Glossier is one of those brands that just makes me instinctually roll my eyes SO HARD, but after watching this I realize it’s probably because I just want to be a glowing, minimalist goddess but know it’ll never happen.
tealeaf Lol that's how I felt too! I finally gave in and bought the milky jelly cleanser after Stephanie Nicole mentioned it because I really trust her when it comes to skincare and to get free shipping I got the body hero lotion for a few bucks more on sale. I actually really love both items but don't think I'll ever try anything else from the brand exempt the 2 I know I like:)
tealeaf Coming from the gal that used to be a full coverage spackle fan, I love Glossier. Maybe it's the fact that I'm actually giving a rip about skin care now or maybe it's just the fact that lately I've been too lazy to put the work in when Florida's humidity with melt it all off, but I'm really loving their products. Particularly, the cloud paint and boy brow. Give a few of their products a try and you may find yourself transforming in that goddess, even if you just start learning to love it at home. :)
One time I ordered a boy Brow from glossier because I saw they had a black shade and for someone who has black hair, it was a saving grace. So fast forward to getting my package in the mail only for my boy Brow box to be empty. I emailed glossier telling them what happened and not only were they courteous and sweet, but they sent me a new boy Brow free of charge AND they covered shipping. Needless to say, despite not liking ALL their products, their customer service is on POINT!!!
I've had a long hard day and coming home to a vid from you is like a calorie free glass of wine. I laugh, feel chill, happy and content. It almost doesn't even matter what you talk about, I could just listen to whatever is on your mind. That being said, I have wanted to know more about Glossier products,so thank you for that! Love you so much xoxox
sophie knibbs Nah girl not weird. And so what if it is?! Weird is cool. I live in a state of weird just to amuse myself. Sam makes me laugh! So fantastic.
I honestly don't understand why your sub count isn't in the millions. You're a professional MUA that gives professional MUA opinions, suggestions, advice etc; not just a girl who is good at applying makeup. 🙄
rachelnation her artistry is AMAZING! I’ve learned SO much from her! More than all the other RUclipsrs that I watch combined. I feel like I get the worst advice from so many popular “beauty gurus”. The fact that they bronze and contour so far down their cheek and it’s a big stripe when they turn to the side, makes me CRINGE. I can’t believe some of these people have millions of followers and offer beauty advice.
Miss Krystyna yes girl, exactly. I can't imagine how annoying that has to be for an actual professional. The beauty gurus who do makeup as a hobby don't know the important stuff you learn in cosmetology school like how to talk to a client, sanitary issues, what looks good on certain skin colors, types and face shapes. That's why I love Sam so much. She is extremely detailed in why she does certain things and gives really good tips using the knowledge she learned by getting an education.
This is how I feel watching shanni grimmond. She has a cute personality, but damn she can't match any of her foundations and she's been doing RUclips for like 5 years. I'd hate to be a professional mua RUclipsr having to compete with someone who can't color match themselves
Jennifer H Or the damn highlight. There is such a thing as too much. I'm so tired of hearing "glow to the gods" and your face looks like you just ran 10 miles.
Liquid eyeshadow is actually amazing for people like me who have really sensitive eyes. I can't put powder anywhere near my eyes without them getting red and irritated for days. I completely agree that they're way more difficult to work with but for people who can use traditional eyeshadows, they're a lifesaver.
I have super sensitive eyes and I want to like liquid eyshadow but my eyes have so many creases! Liquid eyeshadow just crinkles up in all my creases and looks shitty ugh
for someone who really hates the way most foundation makes my face look, i think i should try that skin tint. the only reason i ever wear foundation is to cover up a little redness i have on my cheeks and from the sounds of it this stuff sounds like what i need lol
Rubie Luna you should try it!! I went through my whole bottle because I used it everyday for that reason! It makes you look moisturized and dewy!! You can use this link to get 10% off your order if you wanna try it! Https://re.glossier.com/e4abef93 💕💕💕
You are a goddess. I’ve been subscribed to you for years and you are consistently one of my top 5 favorite RUclipsrs. Not only do I think you’re a gorgeous creature, but your personality and sense of humor is A+. I just thought I’d let you know...so uh...yeah. There ya go.
I just watched one of sam's videos for the first time (love it by the way) and I was like which youtuber does she sound like? It took a little and I was like oh my goodness it sounds exactly like Allana Davison but then it clicked that this is the sam she talks about on her channel and it makes me so happy. I subscribed right away 😁
omg that skin tint look beautiful on you!!! I have problematic skin. I have some acne. its a lot better then what it used to be. I really don't have full coverage foundations anymore, I have oily skin and it ALWAYS looks so cakey and I want to look more natural so I switched to dewy or skin tints or tinted moisturizers. Since I've switched over I actually found that my acne started clearing up even more!! I honestly think the thick, heavy, pigmented makeup is what would clog my pores so much. I love this skin tint and I'm definitely going to purchase!!
Glossier does have some products that are a flop, but overall I really do love it. It's probably because I'm into a natural minimalist look, and I think Glossier just really hits the nail with what I like. It's also simple and applying their products takes very little time. Everyone has different opinions though. I feel like if you're more into the heavy looks that are trending now, Glossier may not really be that great to you. If you're like me though, then you will definitely love it.
I feel like the skin tint would be much more marketable if it had an SPF. If I'm gonna throw something on like that it should have sun protection. It just would make more sense
It may not have it added because it would mess with the texture/finish/ and compromise the skin tint. A lot of spf added to makeup is chemical which some people dont want or are allergic too. Their separate spf is amazing though and lays so cleanly under makeup. :)
Honestly, spf added to any foundation or tinted moisturizer is kind of pointless since you're not applying enough of the product to get the spf benefits anyway.
I love make up but hate the whole done up make up look. That's what drew me to this line now I own almost one of everything. Thanks for the very funny, very lovely review
Not gonna lie, glossier seems like it’s right up my alley. Lol. I never wear foundation (I don’t feel that I need it and it also makes my skin feel claustrophobic and itchy), but I like that the skin tint seems to just even out the tone. Also, when I saw your pic on insta I was immediately drawn to the glossy-ness of your lips. ❤️ probably going to be spending money I don’t have on things I shouldn’t, very soon thankyouverymuch.
Kimberly Beth Lol you’re not the only one! Have you watched Jkissa? She doesnt wear foundation either because of the same situation. She’s also super great. I love her videos.
I feel the exact same way about foundation/concealer and I prefer simple minimal looks so Glossier is perfect for me. I'm into the art of makeup and love glam/high fashion/drag/experimental looks on other people but never myself.
I looooooove that Sam's always brutally honest and detailed with her thoughts with products, so useful to hear all the good, bad and tiny things in between - THANK YOU 😭
i wanna buy the boy brow now... glossier is definitely for people that like natural makeup, which is up my ally. i just recently discovered that i enjoy skin tints, cc creams, and bb creams instead of foundation (except fenty foundation). i also had a hoarding situation with eyeshadow palettes and decided it wasnt my thing. so now i discovered my choice of makeup routine. i really enjoy the thick eyebrow, mascara, sunkissed look UPDATE: i bought the boy brow! and boy did it change my eyebrow routine! im in love! just not so much for how SMALL it is for the price point :/ but id buy again tbh
Not everybody has the time to apply and blend powder eyeshadow at 6am in the morning before commuting to work for like an hour. So for such people, items like cream eyeshadow is versatile and easy
but still the same look can be done with a powder eyeshadow blended with a finger, i do that ^^ it just depends on preference of formula and i guess cream is more "fool proof" since its easier to spread out and gives more time to fix mistakes because it has to set while podwer eyeshadow well, once you put it down it stays there ^^
lina Yeah, but I like Glossier because it's fast and simple and sheer. I'm a surgical student and when I'm in class or clinicals, heavy makeup isn't a good look or sanitary and never lasts because I get mask and goggle imprints on my face. I also only have 10 minutes at most every day for makeup, so Glossier is perfect for me. I don't like the look of eyeshadow. Lidstar sheers out just enough, no powder I've tried has been similar.
You actually... sold me on the skin tint. I hate how foundation lays on my skin so I currently don’t even use it, just concealer. Something that just adds a tiny bit of help sounds right up my alley
I've never commented on a RUclips video in my life and am commenting to say I really loved this video! Didn't waste my time with extraneous commentary. Helped save me money by understanding Glossier products better and how they work which will come in oh so handy on my next Glossier purchase. Thank you!
Glossier is one of my favorite brands! I've used the cloud paint almost every time I've worn makeup in the last year, and I've been using their Super Pure for a few months and I love it! I agree, their customer service is bomb! I once placed a pretty big order with them, including all four shades of the cloud paint, and they accidentally sent me two of Beam and no Haze, but I emailed their customer service and explained what happened. They apologized, sent me Haze free of charge with expedited shipping, let me keep the extra Beam, AND gave me $5 of store credit! Like, it's impeccable. Great video, Sam! I think I might try some of their other products I don't have!
I never, ever comment on videos, but I just had to say that this was informative and fucking hysterical. A masterpiece of a video. You actually made me laugh out loud and I really needed that. Thank you.
It’s so refreshing to watch a beauty blogger’s video and not have a high pitched, fake voice cackling in your ear. Thank you for being genuine and hilarious!! I just ordered boybrow and I’m really excited about it now.
Ya know, I started this video and I was thinking it’s all sheet, it’s gonna look like nothing and then I look at your after look and I’m sitting here thinking “well shit, that’s beautiful. Guess I better buy that stuff that didn’t do anything but did everything!”
Actually really appreciative that you have realistic skin. So many youtubers have such perfect skin, but that doesn't really help someone like myself who has more acne prone skin. If you don't have experience with acne, you can pretty much throw anything on your face and it will look good. This review was thorough, honest, and extremely helpful. Thank you!
This makeup is great for people who are in high school and don’t really wanna go to school in full makeup (such as myself). It’s great for people who just aren’t into the thick super full coverage makeup. Honestly my one downside to it is just that’s it’s pretty expensive, especially for a high schooler like myself but I still really like it🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
I wanna try glossier but I’m also like bish, you aren’t gonna like that. I love intense makeup but whenever I see people do reviews of the brand they look so pretty 😭
I highly highly appreciate that you zoom in while testing the products so you can actually see how they apply on the skin - most beauty gurus/muas on yt have the camera so far away because they're self concious about their skin up close or whatever but then you really have no idea how the product applies besides what they tell you, but you can't really see it for yourself, so yeah THANK YOU FOR THAT GIRL
I LOVE sheer foundation. I’ve just been trying to find the best one that doesn’t contained crappy ingredients, harmful sunscreens, doesn’t make my face greasy, and doesn’t break me out. I don’t want to look like I’m wearing makeup. Or worry how my makeup is wearing off. I think this makeup looked BEAUTIFUL on you. I want to try it!
I felt the same exact way about the cleanser, and it just so happened that they had sent me a survey asking me how i liked it (since it was my first ever order from them) and I replied that i thought it was meh, nothing to write home about. Whoa, that's pretty dope! We love a supportive brand 😉❤
Love it when brands support everyday customers
They're great, I accidentally ordered a wrong shade of their lipstick and I asked them if it's possible to exchange if not opened yet and they just sent me the shade I wanted, no questions asked.
Alex Houser I’m loving it! I know I’m 3 months late, but I hope you passed your boards! I hope you’re loving it as well!

They also only have 5 shades , that's a hard pass
Nemesis Contreras well yeah but i’m not sure the shade will truly make a difference on most skin tones. And it mostly deeper shades than light shades.
Nemesis Contreras they only have 5 shades is because it’s so light so the colour only really gives the skin a glow and a tint.
Amber Manis-Legaspi not really, there’s just a bunch of beige and one dark one
Yeah, exactly. It's really perfect for a no makeup makeup look, and has such a gorgeous, natural finish.
I’d say the full coverage look is only trendy in RUclips beauty community...no one is baking their face in real life. Glossier or just this kind of look in general is basically it at the moment.

RUclips makeup videos aren't all designed to be everyday looks
Search for Sarah Therese, she's is a youtuber that defends natural and light makeup.
I really appreciate this review! But the one thing I disagree with is that "Glossier was made by really pretty people for really pretty people." I think they just deeply believe that everyone's natural beauty should shine through and that you don't need to cake it on to be beautiful :)
and what is with the people that are darker than her? are they not allowed to be that kind of beautiful? Because apparently glossier says no to that
Lisa Kirchkuchen says who? there skin tints are not full coverage it just evens out skin and they are not focused an lighter skins the 5 shades are focused to everyone and it will adapt to your skin if it is a little off
@@sophiaeshbach8522 Yeah. Either way, they expanded the shade range now anyway. So that's fixed.
I agree!
@@lisakirchkuchen1266 you can literally go watch super black women apply skin tint on the glossier website.
I so dig thing this comment LoL
tealeaf Coming from the gal that used to be a full coverage spackle fan, I love Glossier.
J Wiens love you 💘💘
I could listen to her voice all day everyday... is that weird?
This was the perfect description of her vids!
sophie knibbs Nah girl not weird. And so what if it is?! Weird is cool. I live in a state of weird just to amuse myself. Sam makes me laugh! So fantastic.
Ashley Tune Thanks! I think so. Who needs wine when there’s Sam! But can you imagine mixing those two? 🙌🏼
"my skins so glowy, my taxes are paid-" LOL
That was hilarious.
“I’m just gonna pretend the spider doesn’t exist”
*glances up at ceiling every 5 seconds*
I love that you don’t beat around the bush, if you don’t like a product you say just that and move on without sugar coating it.
Sarah Tang "like I now have cheekbones." 😂😂😂
Sam is my best friend even if she doesn’t know it
Angela Marie same
Same girl
Relatable
Same
Wow same
Liquid eyeshadow is actually amazing for people like me who have really sensitive eyes. I can't put powder anywhere near my eyes without them getting red and irritated for days. I completely agree that they're way more difficult to work with but for people who can use traditional eyeshadows, they're a lifesaver.
You just saved my eyes by pointing this out lol I've been trying to figure out why my eyes hurt every time after applying makeup XD
"Tumblr in a skincare product" is EXACTLY what Glossier feels like to me. I would've never known ro put it in such words. YES.
Marissa B said it perfectly, I agree 100%
Marissa B i subbed to Sam when she was Batalash.
" this vague memory of foundation " lmfaoaoaoo omg sam
Allana Davison hey bae
Tatjana Bilbija tf
I just watched one of sam's videos for the first time (love it by the way) and I was like which youtuber does she sound like? It took a little and I was like oh my goodness it sounds exactly like Allana Davison but then it clicked that this is the sam she talks about on her channel and it makes me so happy. I subscribed right away 😁
All these gurus hate the lidstars, but the more I see them, the more I want them. GORGEOUS!
omg that skin tint look beautiful on you!!!
This review honestly made my life. Your personality is just sheer perfection, much like the Glossier skin tint.
The continuous spider watching made this all the more better
Hannah Blunn I'm just going to ignore the spider *looks up at the spider for the remainder of the video* 😂
Elizabeth Bridges lmao literally me when I say I’m gonna ignore something
Most relatable RUclipsr of all time
Makeup made by pretty people for pretty people. Exactly. Thanks for the honest review!
You've got like a Victoria's Secret angel vibe with this look and I love it. I think natural looking makeup is going to make a comeback.
If you're like me though, then you will definitely love it.
aircid what about Florence by Millie make
Up ? I mean how to decide which one to buy if they are all about natural look
Your sense of humour is everythingggg. The lipgloss reaction 😂
To be fair, you need a quarter teaspoon of sunscreen on your face for it to be effective, so it wouldn't help that much.
They do have a really nice non-greasy facial spf! I dig it
The spider's presence really enhanced the editing of this video. 10/10
your constant checking up on the spider even though you said you were going to just ignore it is such a mood
also youre gorggeeouuusss btw
I love make up but hate the whole done up make up look. That's what drew me to this line now I own almost one of everything. Thanks for the very funny, very lovely review
"I'm going to just ignore it, therefore it doesn't exist" (as she continues to look up at the ceiling) LOL
AYYYYYYEE now we need ur skincare routine lmao
Sasha I second this 🙌🏻
I NEED to know how you did it! I am always desperate to help my acne prone skin
Sasha yeah, yep, and YES!! 💙
Please
Absolutely! I’m glad we’re all on the same page.
PLEASE do a skin update. It looks amazing, I'm so happy for you!!
I LOVE glossier products!
I prefer a more "french girl" style of makeup application. The more simple the better.

Also, I’m proud of you for just sitting under that spider like a boss. You go glen coco. 👏🏻
Omg I thought I was only one where foundation makes you feel all claustrophobic! 🙈
Me too! I use a bit of powdered mineral foundation, that cover any redness but doesnt itch or anything.
15:09 girl, same. I always say glossier is makeup for people who don’t need makeup.
I have never heard someone describe brow gel as “girthy” but alas, I understand
Samantha constantly looking up to check where the spider is is a HUGE mood
Every time you looked up for that spider, I lost it. I'm not sure why I found that so hilarious, but it was great.
Katie Victoria 7:59 🤣🤣🤣her face
Same!
That was the best part of this video for me😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Vague memory of foundation" so poetic
Honestly my fave part was all the glances towards the ceiling 😅
DO MILK MAKEUP NEXT
Right! They remind me so much of each other.
I looooooove that Sam's always brutally honest and detailed with her thoughts with products, so useful to hear all the good, bad and tiny things in between - THANK YOU 😭
i wanna buy the boy brow now...
glossier is definitely for people that like natural makeup, which is up my ally. i just recently discovered that i enjoy skin tints, cc creams, and bb creams instead of foundation (except fenty foundation). i also had a hoarding situation with eyeshadow palettes and decided it wasnt my thing. so now i discovered my choice of makeup routine. i really enjoy the thick eyebrow, mascara, sunkissed look
UPDATE: i bought the boy brow! and boy did it change my eyebrow routine! im in love! just not so much for how SMALL it is for the price point :/ but id buy again tbh
your skin looks amazing omg
i actually watched this whole thing wow. this is my first time watching you and you're so entertaining and well spoken.
Dominique Boyer SAME!
Not everybody has the time to apply and blend powder eyeshadow at 6am in the morning before commuting to work for like an hour. So for such people, items like cream eyeshadow is versatile and easy
Sonia Arumdati 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
but still the same look can be done with a powder eyeshadow blended with a finger, i do that ^^ it just depends on preference of formula and i guess cream is more "fool proof" since its easier to spread out and gives more time to fix mistakes because it has to set while podwer eyeshadow well, once you put it down it stays there ^^
lina Yeah, but I like Glossier because it's fast and simple and sheer. Lidstar sheers out just enough, no powder I've tried has been similar.
lina not true, powder eyeshadow fades without some kinda primer
Exactlyyy
Watching this in 2019, but I’m cracking up at the numerous glances to the spider on the ceiling 😅
Amber C watching it right now again for the 3 time and counting hie many times she looks up at the cealing lol 😂
Same😂😂😂😂😂😂I was wondering when someone was going to mention that. I fuckin love Sam, and this comment😂😂
Wow, you were right about them being ahead of their times. Now the “clean girl look” has taken over, I love it
my skin's so glowy my pores are smaller MY TAXES ARE PAID
julietrc15 mbn can’t relate
Haha this sounds like Jackie Aina😂
"closer to purified water than foundation" 🤣 God, I love your comparisons.
I live for your sarcasm
such a rare unique brand of sarcasm too i mean it's truly glorious
You actually... sold me on the skin tint. I hate how foundation lays on my skin so I currently don’t even use it, just concealer. Something that just adds a tiny bit of help sounds right up my alley
I've never commented on a RUclips video in my life and am commenting to say I really loved this video! Didn't waste my time with extraneous commentary. Helped save me money by understanding Glossier products better and how they work which will come in oh so handy on my next Glossier purchase. Thank you!
ive never ever heard someone use the gas station soap comparison for anything im so happy you know what i mean!!!
Your humour is God’s gift to RUclips. God bless
I think I might try some of their other products I don't have!
the liquid eyeshadow looks beautiful
I had the EXACT same experience with the coconut balm. I broke out, stopped using it, picked it up 6 months later and now absolutely love it.
Take a shot every time Sam looks up at the spider
Hannah Willard took your suggestion - blacked out somewhere around the 5 min mark. Lol
Lmao
I never, ever comment on videos, but I just had to say that this was informative and fucking hysterical. A masterpiece of a video. You actually made me laugh out loud and I really needed that. Thank you.
dizzycat123 best comment i have ever read! 😂 so true 😂
Low key getting anxious about the spider on your ceiling... Love your videos!
"This gentle suggestion of a foundation..."
That's... that's clever.
Coconut oil rates a 4 (highest) on the comedogenic scale, so the gloss likely was what was causing breakouts (clogged pores).
"vague memory of foundation" "a whisper of a tint encapsulated in water"...wow Sam I didn't know you were a poet !
I think this makeup looks so stunning on you! Glossier is definitely ahead of the times, someday everyone will want everything sheer and natural.
*periodically checks on spider status*
It’s so refreshing to watch a beauty blogger’s video and not have a high pitched, fake voice cackling in your ear. Thank you for being genuine and hilarious!! I just ordered boybrow and I’m really excited about it now.
I know you’re kind of ripping them apart, but their products look amazing on you!
I lobe the red/orange nails 🤤
Lobe love same same
Sarah's Nail Secrets 😂🤓👍
Lobe is lobe.
Sarah's Nail Secrets i lobe ur face😂
Lobe them too!
Ya know, I started this video and I was thinking it’s all sheet, it’s gonna look like nothing and then I look at your after look and I’m sitting here thinking “well shit, that’s beautiful. Guess I better buy that stuff that didn’t do anything but did everything!”
Living for your descriptions of the skin tint! 😂 “vague suggestion” “whisper of a hint encapsulated in water”
Honestly my one downside to it is just that’s it’s pretty expensive, especially for a high schooler like myself but I still really like it🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
She's like a female Chandler Bing
Carly H Chanandler Bong are you going to Yemen😂😂😂 I love the fact that so many people still watch Friends!
RIGHT
A R actually it’s Mrs chanandaler bong
I laughed so hard "I'm just not gonna look at it, therefore it's not there"
Keeps looking up over and over and over 😂😂😂
I wanna try glossier but I’m also like bish, you aren’t gonna like that. I love intense makeup but whenever I see people do reviews of the brand they look so pretty 😭
JackyOhhh omg that was my exact thought
Usually they're already pretty though
Saame
I highly highly appreciate that you zoom in while testing the products so you can actually see how they apply on the skin - most beauty gurus/muas on yt have the camera so far away because they're self concious about their skin up close or whatever but then you really have no idea how the product applies besides what they tell you, but you can't really see it for yourself, so yeah THANK YOU FOR THAT GIRL
If Samantha is the dark foundation shade what kind of colour is the light one lmao. I'm now doubting whether I'm pale enough for the light shade
Omg that was Matt’s car?? I thought someone was using a power saw 😂
“...even though I wanted to get zero...” 😹😹😹❤️
“Gentle suggestion of a skin tint” 😂😂😂
I LOVE sheer foundation. I’ve just been trying to find the best one that doesn’t contained crappy ingredients, harmful sunscreens, doesn’t make my face greasy, and doesn’t break me out. I don’t want to look like I’m wearing makeup. Or worry how my makeup is wearing off. I think this makeup looked BEAUTIFUL on you. I want to try it!
your natural brows are everything
Your sarcasm and vocab are the best. Please don't change lol.
