Very nice and simple solar light :) Thanks for sharing! You might want to use clear silicone instead of hot glue since silicone once dry it wont be affected by temperature change, since hot glue when expose to cold temperature has a tendencies to become brittle like glass and when hot well it melt. Cheers!
is the chip that has been used in this project be able to protect the over discharging of the AA battery? if yes then at what voltage will it stop the circuit to protect from over discharging the battery. Thanks
Any books that anyone might recommend that I could read to learn more about the basics on soldering and electrical in terms of a project like this? I've never used a solder before.
If the LED lights up when the solar panel is not covered, it means that there is not enough "SOLAR" energy to power the solar panel. This will happen if you take the assembled solar light into the house and stay away from windows.
Hello, Nice video, but please tell me if I want to put a SMD LED (for stronger light) instead of the simple LED you have used, what changes should I make to the circuit. I mean will the QX5252 chip work with one (or several in paralel) 5730 SMD led powered by a 3.7v 4000mAh 18650 Li-Ion battery? (with more solar cells to recharge) I am waiting for your answer. Thanks

Glad you like it :)
You are right. Silicon glue may be the right option. Because I have also observed hot glue slightly melts in sun light.

Great project Debasish! Loved it!
You could even get a custom 3D printed bulb with your own custom designed PCB. You can then sell this if you want :)
Thanks
Do you have experience to make 3D Enclosure ?
If yes please make one for me.
well done Debasish, I know why you made this and your ethical reasons do you proud, keep doing what you are doing my friend- you're an inspiration.
Thanks for your valuable words...
+DEBASISH DUTTA Why does the light come on when you put your hand over the solar panel?
+thechromepoet it's to simulate the dark condition. When the light sense dark, it turns on
DEBASISH DUTTA ahh nice, very cool. Thanks.

+Ashutosh Agarwal That AA battery is pretty unlikely to suffer overcharge from a tiny solar panel. They don't produce much power at all.
Love the part with the book at the end, hehe...
KOTGW!
Not to be overly critical, but how did a 6000k LED light a tent at 4500K?

You can read this book "Practical Electronics for Inventors, Fourth Edition".
It is really a good book to start.
Awesome, thank you!
Hi there. Do you know what may be happening if the LED lights up even when the solar panel isn't covered to simulate dark condition?

Looks great Debasish....
Thank You :)
good video. any upgrade ie use more powerful LEDs and stronger solar panel.

Very good use of the QX5252 chip. Liked.
Thank you
good video..but brother can you make same light bulb..bye useing less component?? please make a another video..but u are briliyant..
name all the parts please
please reply
Paper Is My Element Plz see the link in the video description.I have given the full instructions and parts list there.
@@opengreenenergy Thanks on the site all images and explanations are amazing. Thank you so much.
@@emiliabrasilio9111 My pleasure.
i have 1 watt led what changes i have to make
Is that Panel working like LDR sensor??
Yes, the panel acts like an open wire when there is no "SOLAR" energy to power it.
hello,
What are the names of the hardware used?
I found this video on Ewans energy roadmap - there are many useful videos there that may help you
really good idea!
Attila Rivera Thank you
Nicely done
Thank you.
how does switch work
What type of Connection is this is DC or AC ..?
Its DC
good work!
good
A council: eneloop AA is 1900mAh and not charging fast with the solar panel, eneloop lite is ideal for your progect
Scuse me , eneloop lite is 950mAh
+Alessandro Castello Thank you
Super
I bought instruction from Avasva and I build it very very cheap.
Please zoom in next time made it kinda hard to see
