Well I use a 150 uH inductor and it can light a string of 10 leds without fail… I think the big is the inductor, the oscillation becomes low, but the amps are boosted significantly, i use it too to make a solar flashlight with an 1 watt led and it works great! A. Note: the battery must be one of good quality, it can power the leds al over the entire night! Even the 1 watt led flashlight I just tested and it last all the night on!
How would you manage extra capacity for battery life, when winter etc? Would it be extra larger batteries - how would that work with charging and not damaging the LED?
Methinks I detect a Canuckistani accident. I won't hold that against you, eh? I have so many LEDs, NiMH batteries, and time (because my wife made me stop judo....something about danger and too many injuries)...I now have something I can do with them. Thanks!!
@@dork3nergy I admire your videos. I have limited means, so my interest is more from the Repair aspect. This circuit for example, is quite simple. You break it down, which I appreciate.
I can’t you thank you enough for sharing your experiments. I love them.
Always a pleasant pleasure to watch watchable videos made by yourly you. Thanks.
Like the positive! Nice touch with the rocket!
Thanks Mate!

Cool. I shall try that.

Energy in is likely the limiting factor. Your best bet is to add a larger panel and keep your battery topped up.
After a long search, you made my good day. I will try to do the same. Thanks..!!!
You have inspired me……..to order some lawn lights from Amazon. 😂 I can’t solder but I love your videos.
Haha...nice one. Glad you enjoyed it.
Nice video. Cheers
Another great video/project! Will your next video be a solar squirrel tracker?
Already working on an eatable peanut tracker ;)
Correction it's uH for the inductor, so micro Henry. 😊
Checkarooine
You are super funny haha
I don't see a 100nh inductor in the Amazon list. Any help out there?

Those instructions are written in Chinglish!
$3.49 For the materials, less the plastic bulk material, and the 3D Printer, Computer, etc.
Fair point @David
