Re-engined circa 2008 and re-rigged in 2014, she has also had a brand new composite deck fitted for the beginning of 2020. (The new deck was fitted after this video was shot and pictures can be found at the link above)
Her Galley has also had the dark worktops changed for a lighter brighter version since this video was shot and the chart plotter at the chart table has been removed. New pictures showing these changes can also be found at the above link.
Oyster Blew is a four-cabin version with Reckmann Hydraulic Furling. She has successfully completed the Oyster World Rally and is now in the Hamble UK.
Her owner commented on her 2017-2019 Rally performance:
"She performed fantastically well and is the perfect boat for bluewater cruising. We passage planned for 170 mile days and on occasion achieved 200. We had very few issues with any of her systems and those we did have were rectified and have not reoccurred. In all weather conditions, we had complete confidence in the boat..."
